New Glasgow Highlands Campground

Very accommodating staff! Seems as though it is in the process of expansion! Will be an amazing campground when complete!

Beautiful little spot! My friend and I stayed here over the weekend of Cavendish and originally we were just camping in a tent but they upgraded us when it started to rain to a cabin! Super friendly and nice people! Not to buggy and a nice cool pool! It’s a really great spot and I highly recommend anyone in the area to stay here if they get a chance!

A group of 8 of us booked the "dream house" the information available online was unclear as to how many beds were in the house and management would not respond to emails for weeks on end. We arrive and the "dream house" is a 40 year old home, that hasn't been maintained, with dirty dishes still in the dishwasher, half the electrical outlets dont work and there is no TV. There is a massive piece of tyvek on the roof nailed down clumsily with a couple pieces of 2x4's that you can hear flapping in the wind. No towels, minimal linens and the owners come and go through the basement/attached garage of this place at random intervals. For the price you can and should find better, would not recommend and will not come back.

This campground was perfect! We originally booked in for 3 nights tenting and due to rain on the first night (and there thankfully being a free cabin) the owners upgraded us free of charge. The cabin was spacious with a Queen bed, a bunk bed, and futon (we were so thankful to have power also). The bathrooms were kept very clean for such a busy weekend, they sell ice and firewood which is always necessary for a weekend of camping. The staff were so nice and beyond helpful with any questions or requests. Will definitely recommend this campground and be staying here in the future!

Beau camping boisé! Nous avons loger dans une petite cabine bien aménagé. Les toilettes et les douches sont dans un bâtiment à part et c'est très propre. Belle piscine, très propre aussi.

We stayed there a week and had an enjoyable time. Sites are well treed and private. Campground is clean and quiet. A nice campground centrally located within a short drive to many of the islands attractions. We would definitely stay there again.

Well maintained and friendly, accomodating staff. Facilities, including the lodge and pool are very clean and useful. A bit pricey though.it will cost you $69 for a family of 5, $77 for a family of 6.

The cabin was not clean, there was dirty used tissue on the top bunk. I don’t think the cabin was cleaned properly after the previous people left. It was kinda dusty, the sofa bed had dirty sheet covering that was not washed, it had dog hair all over which indicates again it was not washed.
Other than that, the overall area was nice and private with a lot of nature.
The shower stall was moldy but still doable for a quick shower.

The price of wood for the firepit is a little overvalued, but the exceptional service of the staff makes you forget this small excess.

This is a nice quiet campground. We stayed in the cabin for 2 nights. It's central to everything. In 20 mins or less you can get to Cavendish and on the opposite direction you can get to the outskirts of Charlottetown to get groceries or supplies.
We were fortunate to get a cabin near the facilities and pool. Pool was nice and clean, a little cold but refreshing after a long hot day. We used the washer and dryer. $2 each but the dryer needed a second round to dry the clothes. Prepare to spend $4 to dry one load of clothes.
I would definitely stay here again.

First visit in 2018, it was fantastic. Great service. Clean and quiet. 4 years later, the employees were new but still kind. However, the camp grounds were not so well kept, former campers' garbage still on site, things in disrepair (washing machines, benches, tables, mattresses,), as well the washrooms were not very clean.

Excellent camping experience. Quiet, private, clean with everything you need a short walk away. Was very convenient having a fridge available with everything you need to cook in the kitchen. Dish washing stations and Laundry was available and bathrooms were clean. Lots of hot water for showers. Absolutely recommend this place and will be coming again. Staff is incredibly friendly.

Il manque une étoile pour la propreté des douches (tapis de sortie de douche en caoutchouc moisis) et toilettes homme très sales.ainsi que pour le playground qui n est pas dans un tres bon état (echelle en bois cassée, balançoire non équilibrée, jeux en plastique déformés.). Only been here a few hours but really like this campground. Sites are private and quiet. Lots of trees. Wifi is good at our site. Wonderful welcome when we arrived.

We were at New Glasgow Highlands Campground in August 2021. We had reserved not knowing or had never been there before. We were extremely pleased with the campground, the site we had, the cleanliness and the tranquility of that campground. It is centrally located and easy access to all the fun things to do in PEI. Nice location to most of the island. Cottages are small but comfortable. Quiet and enjoyable with biking and walking trails around. A great place to visit the island from.

Well designed woodland setting. Spacious campsites, excellent staff who take good care of the facilities. I felt very comfortable here.

This is one of the best campgrounds that I've ever been, absolutely I recommend it.

It is situated in a forest and this means that each site offers lots of privacy but also they are big and very clean. A selection of full hookups or no hookups offers everyone whatever they want.

The bathroom is super clean and with staff very friendly, you will feel as you are at home. Enjoy!

This was our third time staying here. The first time we in a tent and their tent sites are great! We stayed in their cabins the last two times and their cabins have everything you need. Double bed and two bunks. Large table inside and the same large table outside on the deck. Electrical outlets in several different places, lighting and the firepit makes the cabin experience great! The bathrooms are the cleanest I've ever been in. The pool was a nice size and very clean also. The only critique I would say is if the pool cover was put on over night the water would be a little warmer but once we were in it was fine.
