New Glasgow Lobster Suppers

Wow is all I can say! It's been a few years since I've been here. This time I took my wife. She's from a seafood port in Europe and she said this was the best lobster she has ever had. This means lots.

The food is delish, the all you can eat mussels and soup is the icing on the cake.

The service was impeccable. Jennifer was on top of everything. She was extra understanding as we had a child with us.
All the staff was friendly and very quick and efficient.

Can't wait to go back!

Veggie option was a bit meh. Salad plate was lifeless. Would be good to have table salad bar.
I heard the lobster was delish
Chicken dippers looked boring
Most desserts had sold out which was a shame

A bit of a pig out but you have to go. I went twice.seconds of everything except the lobster and the staff are top notch!

Have 1.5 lb Lobster Tonight w/ I believe 1 lb of shell and 0.5 lb of meat? ! Totally not what I was expected. Don’t blame the weather, not that cold yet, because I had a great Lobster dinner the night before. Side orders are unlimited but…. People said can not find good on PEI. And This one recommended by the local.
** By the way the restaurant only Open 3.5 hrs/day from 16: 00 to 19: 30. Line up needs.

We've been coming here for about 11 years now, and I am sad to say because of our last visit, we won't be returning. The food has always been great, and the service is still unbelievable, but our latest visit was not a good experience. The mussels usually are amazing, but this time they were off, my wife had a particularly bad one and asked if it was normal for them to have a strong fishy flavour. I'm no expert, but no they should not. The drive back from the restaurant was when things went south, I had to pull over twice for her to, well you know. This happened for about another two hours as she became violently ill. I'm happy to say she recovered the next morning and other than a sore throat and mild dehydration she was fine. It's unfortunate that this happened as we love the place and were so excited to visit every year, but after this experience we just can't go back.

What a great experience. Food was amazing, Shelly or server was fantastic, and the restaurant does a great job with gluten and dairyaccommodations

I am disappointed with this place. First you are charged, and then you will find out that you need to wait on the street until you are invited inside. We waited over an hour. After we got inside, there were a lot of people, many families with small children and it was extremely noisy. The waitresses worked quickly, but due to the large number of people, they did not have time to serve quickly and had to wait again. The food was also not up to par at a fairly high price. We had to spend more than 3 hours in this place, including waiting. I consider it a waste of time and money. Elsewhere you can eat tastier, cheaper and much faster. I will definitely not recommend this place to my friends.

My family has been going here for years and it never disappoints. The service is excellent and the food is to die for. A must visit for a PEI summer.

Our annual visit to New Glasgow was as wonderful as usual. The mussels! The lobster! Delicious!

Great community atmosphere.friendly people.great service and an excellent example of island cooking and hospitality. Arlene was fantastic.and the food stole the show! This is an experience not to be missed.

Yummy in my tummy. Lobster and stake galore! Dinner came with muscles, chowder that has real cream, warm buns, salad and … dessert (go for the strawberry shortcake or lemon). Omg, the five of us nearly exploded that is how full we were.

What a beautiful place! Love the atmosphere. Food is endless, buckets of mussels, bread rolls, clam chowder. And you still haven't gotten your main course. Would definitely recommend this place. Worth every dollar. I would come back for sure.

Had a wonderful dinning experience here last night. Once seated, the service was provided quickly and efficiently from the friendly staff. Special note that the fresh homemade dinner rolls were especially tasty.

One word. FRESH. Even in their "off" season. Endless buckets of mussels, clam chowder and desserts

Take out - 2 sautéed scallops meals done perfectly and travelled very well to our cottage 10 minutes away. One meal with mussels as an appetizer they were also perfectly steamed and the portion was huge. The other appetizer was a tomato basil soup which was very tasty. Both came with a separate plate of various salads - fresh and a terrific accompaniment to the main dish. We have one star yet to accommodate - the sides were bland, lack lustre in taste and over cooked. Overall another wonderful meal in PEI.

The food was so good! Made simply for the ingredients to shine. The food tastes homemade! Especially the chocolate cake. The ingredients are all from PEI.

We waited an hour for a buzzer and about 30minutes after. The wait was worth it.

The only concern and hence the four stars is that I worry they didn't follow COVID19 Safety protocol with caution. People will crammed together all through the line. I think putting stickers or markers on the floor to ask people to stand apart would help.

Our server, Meghan was really nice! So was the seating hostess. It was hard to understand the person at the cash because of all the noise and the plastic sheet, but he seemed nice too.

Absolutely great place to eat at, price is very fair. You will get lots of food here though, so make sure you don't eat too much beforehand.

Best lobster I've ever had in my life. First dinner we had after landing in PEI and we made the right choice.

Wonderful meal. 1 lb lobster was easy to eat as they break tail & claws so meat is accessible.

The full Monty of dinner! Great food, and service! Had the scallops, and my wife had the Haddock, both were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing! Dessert (included in the meal along with unlimited mussels) was to die for!

We enjoyed our supper 12 years ago and had to bring our friends and family here to enjoy the experience. So much fun! Mussels, Cham chowder, salads, lobster and desserts. Staff very friendly and food very good.

You have to order at the door, was told there was enough room for my family (8 people), ended up waiting for 20+ minutes when we arrived even though we were told they would say aside the space for us, the prices were outrageous. Good if you're just a couple, don't recommend with a big family with young kids

It was truly the best sea food meal I've had in my life, muscles, chowder lobster deserts, salads, we try to go a couple times a year.we get a motel room visit and walk around Victoria with our dog.love pei.the best seafood in the maritimes and plentiful awesome will go back soon

Amazing service, great food. Allowed up to two servings of everything other than the lobster meal. Would definitely recommend coming here.

This place is in the middle of nowhere.if like Lobster. Go.it was amazing and delish. We had two of the biggest lobstersi have ever eaten and to perfection. We also had scallops and it's hard to finish what they serve you. Be prepared to be there for two hrs as there are four courses. And it's worth the drive.be careful with GPS as it will take you thru trails for ATV s. Our Land Rover had no issues.the wife hated me for it but we got there and OMG.so yummy. I suggest you do it.

Best meal we have had. Seafood quality is excellent. Portions large. Well organized. Prices for this meal are fantastic. Peller Estates Pinot Grigio paired well. Deserts fell short of expectations.

Great spot for some quality lobster and scallops. Don't order the steak. Tons of options for dessert. Our family had a blast. Plenty of food.

Had lobster supper here yesterday, I thought it was a buffet, but not really you just ask for seconds and they bring it to you.
I called twice about reserving and was told there was no reservation, we still waited 30 min at the door even though we went at the door some people were skipping the line due to reservations.
The seafood chowder and mussels were fine, not great, second bucket of mussels was uncooked properly.
The lobster was good, but served in really small plates. It came with a salad plate. It was very small and I did not care for it. I wish I could have at least chosen the type of salad.
I ordered the lemon merange pie, reading reviews, I did not care for it at all. I got a second desert strawberry shortcake with ice cream and it was good.
Our waiter was fine and service was good.
I will not go there again. Not worth it

We toured New Brunswick, PEI and Nova Scotia this Summer and this was without a doubt THE best Lobster Dinner we had anywhere.
Quality of food, Quantity of Food and fantastic down East service and throw in a down East country atmosphere and you've got the best Lobster experience you'll get in the Eastern provinces.
The Chowder is to die for, they start you out with a BUCKET of clams with butter and the lobsters are BIG!

Food is delicious and unpretentious. I was pleasantly surprised as the food tastes better than it looks! A bit pricey but it's a good place to go for the experience if you're a tourist or take your tourist friends if you're a local.

This was our first time visiting and everything was amazing. The price you pay varies on the size of lobster but includes: fresh mussels, rolls, chowder, salad (garden, potato, coleslaw), your lobster, dessert, coffee/tea. Mine was $36 for all of this food! It was amazing! Not only was the food great but they run a well oiled machine, organized, clean, and friendly. Would highly recommend!

The food was amazing, the experience was fantastic and the price was super good for all the food you got! Loved the local charm with the amazing food!

The mussels and lobster were delicious but the sub par service keep it from getting more stars. We were a party of eight. After finished 2 buckets of mussels among us as starter, we decided to get half a bucket of mussel refilled. Our waiter brought us the mussel and after a while our salad as well; but for no reason took away the mussel bucket with plenty of mussel left inside! He also failed bring us any lobster claw breaker when we asked for them and got one of the side dish order wrong. Overall I found it is a good price for such meal although the service seems to rush a bit. Also you can find better clam chowder anywhere else.

Best seafood! Mussels and brioche bread are to die for. They were on "you gotta eat here"! Oh and dessert are unlimited. Must tries: lemon meringue and banana pie!

Second time here and it's wonderful. You better be hungry, because they're going to put a comical amount of food in front of you. Lobster is excellent. Seafood chowder and mussels are wonderful. Steak is pretty good but the fat strip on the strip loin is tougher than it should be. Dessert is wonderful. It's a fantastic value for A PILE of food. Great service and a fast operation. I'd go again without hesitation.
They need to fix the plumbing in the sinks to not be stuck on scalding hot water. It's unusable for children and burning hot for adults.

You can eat until you are stuffed. Fresh lobster and mussels, buns straight out of the oven, delicious desserts. Our go-to place for a good PEI seafood dinner. Large open-concept dining hall can accommodate large families easily if needed.

We were absolutely stunned. This was an amazing experience and we are so grateful that we decided to eat at New Glasgow Lobster Supper. Our server was steller and attended to our every need. The format is that you pay as you walk in and then they serve you rolls, three different kinds of salads, soup, steamed mussels, and then your entree of choice and finally dessert. This is all included in the one price you pay upfront. New Glasgow Lobster Supper is all about the experience. The seafood is, of course, amazing. If you are visiting PEI as a tourist, this experience is not to be missed!

Went here many times, this time we ordered a 3lb lobster just days after our guests ordered a 3 lb lobster.compared the picture.wow.the lobster we got had a large body and 2 small loose arms on a plater not much meat in the tail.claws were 1/2 the size of our guests plater.
Management said each is a 3lb weight and looked at the picture but couldn't help us. $85 plater.
Going to try other places now.

Highly recommended! This is the best lobster place I have ever been in Prince Edward Island! We waited there for 1 and half hours, really long line up especially it is the long weekend. I almost lost my patience. But, I have to say, it is really worth to wait. Their lobster dinner combo comes with lobster, bread roll, clam chowder, a big box of blue mussel, salad, drinks and dessert. Very fresh tasty (no fishy at all for the mussel), reasonable price, and friendly services! Will definitely go back again when I revisit PEI! But I will try to go there as early as they open ;) [4-8: 30 pm, they only serve dinner]

The 4 courses brings you enough food to go into hibernation after you walk out the door, service is cheerful and efficient, the chowder is a little bland also some of the pies are less than amazing, but they are all housemade. The Entrees are delicious lobster is cooked wonderfully a great spot to come for an anniversary or birthday. I would reccomend the downstairs dining room over the upstairs one, it's much cooler and classier.

Horrible service and poor food quality. Waited an hour for a table and were very disappointed with the whole experience from start to finish. One person in our party was told that their dinner was going to be another 25 minutes while the rest of us were eating. We all finished eating and the meal still hadn't come. When we complained to the manager she was very reluctant to do anything about it. She refunded us for the one meal but offered no apology. She came to the table waving our money in the air saying 'who had the complaint? '
Flies swarmed our table while we waited for the server to clear. Water glasses remained empty throughout the meal.
There are so many great places to eat on the island. This by far was the worst.

Imagine an all-you-can-eat buffet of rolls, mussels, seafood chowder, salad, and dessert that gets delivered right to your table by friendly servers.

For the entree they offer a variety of options to keep the non-seafood eaters in your party happy while you eat some serious amounts of lobster.

The price tag may throw you at first but rest assured this is a really great value.

A unique, fun, and one of a kind dining experience. It's a family tradition whenever we visit the island.

Pro-tip: Make sure you make a reservation if you plan to visit during peak season. The line ups can be unreal. Reservations help you skip all of that nonsense.

Good food and tons of it! Seems like unlimited everything! I could not finish everything despite my efforts! I think it was 5 courses including dessert? !

The line out the door id testament to the quality of not only the food but the service! We had Cameron and he created a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere! We look forward to making it back to PEI next year for another great meal!
