New London Lighthouse

Both the beach and the lighthouse are beautiful places, but you have to park in the parking lot and walk along the beach for a while to get to the lighthouse. The road is difficult to find and there is a lot of mud and sand. There are also a lot of mosquitoes

You have to want to get there, but the beach is long and beautiful. Sand to the west and rocks to the east.

Beautiful lighthouse with bushes and wild flowers around. Let me just warn you, though.there are bugs and mosquitoes a plenty! Be well equipped with repellant sprays or lotions!

It is old PEI. The dunes, old lighthouse, the channel, beach, red rocks, and the corn field above…I hope it never changes, reminds me of PEI in the 70’s

My great grandparents were lighthouse keepers here (MacRae). This lighthouse is a very special landmark to our family, and we come to visit every year from Alberta.

It's a bit of a walk from the parking area.but worth it

Beautiful lighthouse and beach however the parking isn't great it was fairly busy the day we were there and there isn't much parking on the narrow road way to the lighthouse

Beautiful, huge beach excellent for long walks or for the kids to play in the sand. My only criticism would be that there is limited parking.

Wonderful beach to walk along with a view out over the bay. The lighthouse is not accessible, but mahes for a gorgeous backdrop.

The lighthouse is set back off the beach a little bit which makes sense, to protect it from the tide when originally built. Built in 1876. The original attached keepers dwellings still remain and this is 1/4 remaining lighthouse on PEI that have this feature. The entire area is pure PEI. Beautiful beach front.

Good looking lighthouse, no entry though. You canonly view it from outside. The dunes are very unique and protected - no walking on them. The beach is beautiful and not crowded.

It was s lighthouse and we couldn't figure out how to get to it easily. There are better ones to go see

Great place to come on setting day to watch the lobster fishermen head out for the first day of the season

Located by a nice sandy beach. We visited in the winter so we had the beach and the lighthouse views all to ourselves. You cannot go into the lighthouse.
