North Shore Community Centre

Post Hurricane Fiona and no power for 6 days, this place was like a wonderful oasis in the desert. Great facilities and a wonderful team of volunteers. On holiday from England for 10 days. So impressed. Thank you!

This by far was the best community centre I’ve been.

They have great PA system with Bluetooth capability, projector is provided with a white screen you can roll down. Stage was awesome. Tables and chairs are clean. They’ve got a small space upstairs as well. They have a nice clean kitchen you can rent for additional cost and bar can be opened, you just have to let them know in advance.

They also allowed us to use the announcement board outside to put photo and greetings for my dad’s 60th birthday.

Their staffs were great too.

Overall, It was a great experience for us.

This is a great place to host an event. My only problem is that even though we rented the building out for overnight camping with cadets, it seems as though 5 other people rented it out at the same time because we were interrupted by people wanting to play pickleball, then there was sports registration, a ball hockey game, and a bake sale. So it's kind of unorganized, but for the most part I enjoyed my time here.

Great centre. Local residents use this for all types of events. Bring lots of bug spray of your kids are playing soccer.

Wonderful country community center with many available activities! Building is available to be rented for different needs, such as wedding receptions, game activities, political rallies, etc. Many different activities run here throughout the week for the community (such as a weekly bake sale, yoga classes, pickle ball games). The staff are friendly, knowledgable, and very accommodating. The outdoor play park is great for children, and in the winter the local for department helps set up an outdoor skating rink for everyone to enjoy free of charge.
