On The Dock

Delicious calamari - nicely seasoned, lightly battered with great chipotle sauce. Seafood chowder had lots of seafood, large pieces and one bowl was filling. Fish was good, large serving with crispy fries and yummy tartar sauce!

Great views of the sunset and the best bowl of seafood chowder. Both On the Dock and Blue Mussel are clearly very popular and had extensive wait times. A short walk to the beach and lighthouse if you have time to spare while you wait. Clearly the hurricane had some ill effects on the area last year, but On the Dock looks great.

Busy but very friendly and quick. Food was great: mussels, lobster, haddock burger and an amazing summer garden salad!

The lobster roll was to die for, not too heavy on the mayo and super generous with the lobster (I also recommend the Dockyard Duo app- oysters and pork belly- so yum).
They are literally right on the dock and has great views of the water, plus their staff are wonderful!

Loved this place! Had the seafood chowder, lots of meat and tasty broth. Had the scallop burger and it was delish! Very light and tasty. The serving staff were all extremely pleasant and friendly as well. Can’t remember our server’s name, but she was great as well. If we had more time on the island, we would be back!

Second time here. Last year was sunny and warm, and the deck was amazing. This year, not as lucky with the weather, but the food was great and so was the service.

Best fish and chips ever.staff was excellent, and the food portion was great. I would go again!

Worth the wait! Food is high quality, completely delicious with generous servings, staff are as friendly as they get! So fortunate to find this hidden gem in North Rustico!

Their seafood soup is the best we have ever had. Served with delicious fresh bread. And the sizes of sweet fries are simply amazing. Also liked the fish cakes and cheese dip. The staff is very kind and smiling. The view is amazing. Highly recommend! Great place and very tasty.

Nice restaurant by the water. Its very peaceful on the patio. Food and service was great. The area is scenic as well.

We went to On The Dock multiple times while visiting PEI on our honeymoon and each time we had an amazing experience. The food is incredible and the staff are very friendly. Highly recommend going here while visiting PEI.

All I can say is WOW. What a fantastic menu. The fish and chips were the best I had on the island (I ate at about 4 different places). My dad ordered the lobster roll and when I gave him a piece of my fish he was gutted he didn’t order that! My sister got the gnocchi and said she was in absolute shock over how delicious it was (of course I had to help her out with that). We were a group of 7 so we had a beautiful spot overlooking the water. They don’t take reservations so when we arrived we put our name on the list and explored North Rustico until we got the text our table was ready which was beautiful and fun to explore. Overall what a fantastic spot. Would highly highly recommend eating here! The service was amazing too

Very good food, and delicious cocktails with a fantastic view. Service was a bit lacking but I think it was just the time of day (we went between lunch and dinner). The lobster biscuits and raspberry lemonade I highly recommend!

My entire family really enjoyed this restaurant. Lobster rolls, crab dip, lobster and biscuit, and my fave- seafood chowder were delicious! The restaurant provides a beautiful seaside experience and the staff were perfect! Thanks Bonjour. Jasmine for the recommendation!

Great service and views but the fish tacos were only ok and my poutine was way too salty. My sister had the fish and chips and enjoyed her meal. I would definitely return and recommend this restaurant

On dit que rien ne bat la nourriture de notre grand-mère.j'ai une petite nouvelle pour vous.les grand-mère n'ont qu'à bien se tenir ;-).

Gnocchi was great. Seafood chowder was good but low on flavour. Lobster roll was ok. Awesome location and service. Beach nearby, walking paths and old picturesque buildings. Parking fills up when busy. Other restaurants on site.

Located in North Rustico behind the popular Blue Mussel Cafe. The Eatery offers very tasty seafood dishes such as lobster rolls, mussels, fish and chips, chowders, and mussels. Laid back place, attentive and friendly servers. Recommend.

Lovely place to eat on the dock, watch the sun set, boats, birds, etc. The hostess and server were so very nice, friendly and welcoming. The food was awesome, from seafood chowder to beautiful salad, fish and chips, scallop burger. Had the blueberry draft beer, just right. Wonderful experience all around!

Really nice spot. 'on the dock, literally! I had the fish and chips. The fish was one of the best I've ever had, it had a very nice light batter. The French fries were a little crispy for my liking, but they were good.

Very accommodating. Food was delicious and view was great! Daiquiris were so yummy. The waitresses was great even though the kids were a bit wild.

Great place to spend a relaxing morning or afternoon. Deep sea fishing, restaurants, shops, and the beach is around the corner.

Nice atmosphere and view. Staff were very accommodating, even when we showed up with a large group on a busy day when they were closing early. I had the fish and chips and the fish was fantastic - lightly battered, very tender and fresh.

Lots of flies, overpriced, and bland tasting food. Fries are the only decent food item. Just go to blue mussel cafe, definitely worth the wait

Staff was extremely friendly, very welcoming. From the chowder to the salad, fishcakes and lobster rolls.the food was outstanding! We thoroughly enjoyed sitting directly beside the harbour and having our lunch. What a precious gem.

Food was very fresh and filling! My husband had a grilled chicken burger and I had the fish tacos. Fries were amazing, kept eating even after we were full. The beer was slightly warm when served, but that may have been due to the abnormally warm weather. Drinks were slightly overpriced but as to be expected at a busy tourist destination.

Two years ago we discovered this amazing place. Today we can more than confirm this is a great place to eat.

Right out of the gate, they were kind enough to seat us when we arrived late and without reservation. They also had a great patio with a perfect view of the bay. Great oysters!

What a beautiful place to sit, eat and enjoy the scenery! Waitrus was excellent, food was superb! Hit the right weather day for sure.

Food has improved, well above average. Obvs not competition to some chef-run local restaurants, but it's casual, kid-friendly. The place was clean, not noisy but had nice music playing (not country!) in the background so you don't overhear other people chewing/talking. We didn't wait long for our food at all.
Couldn't imagine better service. All the wait staff were so helpful & friendly. Even the teenagers you'd expect to get a "please let this day end" attitude from, were kind, cheerful, attentive yet not overly solicitous. Having waited tables most of my young life & being generally ornery, I pick up on anything negative. I only had the cheeseburger, I'm not a seafood person. The hamburger was a bit overcooked, but I never asked for medium so that's on me. Why isn't this 5 stars? Because no one reads 5 star reviews.

First time visit here. The two of us decided to sit outside in the sheltered area. Beautiful spot on the water. Our server was attentive and kept checking on us. Crab dip was our starter with a cool beverage. Our mains were fish and chips for me and a bowl of delicious chowder for my friend. We both had a hard time finishing. In fact I had to leave the best fries ever!
This will be my Restaurant of choice in the harbour on my next visit to North Rustico.

Fantastic setting and great food and service in a locally owned and operated establishment. A true Rustico bay eating experience.

Very nice atmosphere the waitress was very nice and good service.the food was good but not the portion size for the money I had the battered fish and it was the size of the little fish sticks I had been there other years and it was not that small of portion.
I'll prob not go back

Excellent 3 hour deep sea fishing in North Rustico. Captain Bob and First Mate Phillip made a very great team on the 45 foot Two Sisters fishing vessel. Caught lots of mackerel and cod (catch and release). A fun time.

Meilleur tacos de poissons que j’ai mangé de ma vie. Je ne sais pas ce qu’ils mettent dans leur sauce, mais c’est juste trop bon. Tout est fait maison, leur sauce, leur salade de patate, leur salade de choux, etc. Et c’est très près de la piste cyclable (nous étions parti de Cavendish en vélo)

Loved it! My sister and I shared mussels. She had seafood chowder that was delicious. Mussels out of shell so you don't have to dig into your chowder to get them out. I had lobster roll with Caesar salad. Delicious and great service. Wine was great too.

Fresh Strawberry Point oysters that were expertly shucked and served overlooking the bay where they are harvested. Plus fish and sides prepared by the wife and two daughters of one of the fisherman following their family recipes. Highly recommended for an authentically local meal.

Some of the best fish & chips I've had.and I'm old! Lol seriously very fresh & very light breading. Excellent. Highly recommend. And I don't do chowder but my husband raved at all the fish in his chowder!

Terrible customer service. RACIST staff. The white people in front of us were able to get a table. There were empty tables available. They told us no tables available. Very upsetting to see this treatment. Please do not eat here.

The food was surprisingly tasty. I had the veggie burger (a Beyond Meat burger) which was tasty and an excellent potatoe salad. The lobster role was also quite good as we're the fries. Wonderful view and very friendly staff.

Service was average at best. Waitress at one point was away for quite some time when we needed something. Fries I thought were over done. Starter was great. Calamari and crab dip good. Likely wouldn't go back and would check out other places in the region next time I holiday here.

Fish and Chips were excellent and I dont think there would be a better place on PEI to have them. Right on the water is awesome

A great place to stop for lunch after kayaking the local rivers. The fish and chips were battered perfectly, and the bar clams were fantastic! The service was friendly and the setting very pleasant. Finding a parking spot can be a bit of a challenge, but that was the only drawback.

Delicious food, generous portion sizes, pet friendly, kind staff. Wonderful place to eat with family or as a date. Beautiful view of the water / bay area.

I came from Toronto ans I ate there with my childhood friends, I had the lobster dinner. It was amazing! You can definetely taste the difference of freshness! Highly recommend!

Amazing food, had the fish tacos, potato salad, Bar Clams everything was to die for! We got there 15 minutes before they close and felt a warm welcome. The owner came and talked with us. She and her mom are owners. Great personality, fancy plating at a very reasonable price and not to mention best views right on the water! Love it and highly recommend
