Parkside Cottages & Suites

We stayed in a "suite" which was very clean and had everything we needed. Dennis, the owner, is very helpful, and was able to lend us things we didn't have (e.g. Beach umbrellas that we couldn't travel with). The grounds are well maintained. The beach is a short walk; it took us 10 minutes because we had a senior in our group who doesn't walk quickly, but was still able to easily manage the walk to the beach. We could also easily walk to the Covehead lighthouse and Richard's fish and chips on the wharf. Much of PEI is an easy drive from this location.
It was quiet and peaceful, a wonderful place to spend a week!

We stayed in the cottage for 3 nights during our family vacation in 2021. First of all, the cottage is very clean, and spacious. It has everything we needed like kitchen, AC, cookware, BBQ, Deck, chairs, etc. The bedroom and bathroom are clean too, with clean sheets, towels. The entire cottage outside ground is also maintained very well, with trees, flowers, a big fire pits, benches, etc. Besides, we are very satisfied with the location. It is just besides the national park, a few minutes walk to the beach. Most appreciated among everything is the owner Dennis. He is such nice and warmhearted host, and very friendly and helpful, makes our stay much memorable. We definitely recommend this cottage.

Exactly that’s an amazing place, quite and clean. The location is close to the beach, and the Richard Bar for the special Lobsters Roll.

My siblings and I stayed here for 5 days in early August (visitng another sibling who retired to 'the island'. 2 - 2 bedroom cottages. Clean, well-equipped, and the beds were very comfortable! Dennis was friendly and accommodating, he even got us the 'cable guy' when one of the cable boxes went in the fritz! Would definitely recommend Parkside Cottages - and not a far walk to the beach!

We had a lovely stay in early August 2021. The cottage was very clean, comfortable, and in a great location close to many beaches, Stanhope Golf Course, and Covehead wharf. Dennis went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could be! You can tell he cares deeply about the property and his guests, and wants to ensure everyone has a great stay. Highly recommend!

Stayed here July 2021. Very clean, good amenities (free bikes, new BBQ, patio & lawn chairs). Very close to the park and beach - walking distance. Walking distance to Richard’s Seafood - a must try.
Owner Dennis is very friendly and helpful. He is doing lots of additions and renovations.

We really enjoyed our visit here. Very clean. The cottage had everything we needed. Very close to a beautiful beach. Quiet, however, but we visited during down season. Dennis (who was assisting us) was delightful. We typically stay in Cavendish, but we would definitely return to this location instead.

My partner and I stayed for 3 nights at Parkside and loved it. Our cottage was clean, spacious and had everything we needed including AC, coffee, cookware, a good sized deck, bbq, indoor and outdoor dinning set, extra lawn chairs, clean sheets, towels, and more. The grounds are well kept and consist of open green space, tree-shaded areas, sitting areas, and a big fire pit with benches. It’s only a 5 min walk to the beach, and the owner is lovely. I’ll definitely stay again.

Amazing spot! Dennis was a great host and his cottages have everything you need to enjoy a great beach vacation.

Spent two weeks there with my two kids, the owner is very friendly, rooms are clean, the wash machine and dryer looks like brand new.really like the deck, with BBQ, feel like home.we walked to the beach every evening, beautiful.will come back next time with friends.

Stayed there for a week with my wife and two daughter the last week Aug. 2019, before returning to the school.excellent facility, very clean, quiet, few min.walk to the beach.the owner Dennis is a very friendly guy, I have been to so many cottages, this is definitely the best, strongly recommend if you go to PEI.

Brought my wife and 2 teens for a 3 night stay, and were given the warmest greeting and the owners hospitality was amazing. Dennis (the owner) made a point of learning every guests name and went out of way to make everyone feel like they belonged. Planning my next vacation around staying with Parkside again.

My daughter and I stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage and had plenty of room. The place was very clean, quiet and had a lovely large deck with a new BBQ. The A/C was appreciated after a hot day on the near-by beach in the gorgeous National Park. The location was excellent and having access to the free bikes, although in need of a little TLC, was awesome. Delicious ice creme was a walkable distance away at the local pier in the evenings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the host couldn't have done more to make our stay enjoyable.
