Pilot House

Pilot House was super yummy! We’ve been in Charlottetown for 2 weeks and this was our best meal. Some healthy options and good portions - everyone in our group loved it! Two people got the fettuccine and two people got the panko crusted haddock.

The service was also great! Our waitress was super friendly and food was fairly quick. Probably the best we’ve had here so far. We’ll be back

Some one changed the recipe for the chicken and broccoli crepe. Mushy filling, no hollandaise sauce.looked like melted cheese whiz. Flavourless.
Put the old recipe back or you will lose customers. I hate it when you cut corners.

A huge plate of fish and chips for ~$20 CAD with Barnone milk Stout on draft. Decent draft beer choices. The Pilot House has the goods for a great lunch!

Food quality and proportion was fine, however; what really bothered me was the waitress attitude. She was on edge and we were trying to take a photo and she was making statements like DO NOT BLOCK THE WAY! With high volume of voice. There are more respectful ways of reminding people of the fact that you need to pass by us. Or a friend of mine asked if the food is ready and she again responded “I HAVE only TWO HANDS, I DONT WANNA BE RUSHED! ”.
What’s more, at the end, she herself, put in the amount of tip herself, no choice given as if we were loving in a dictatorship a staggering tip of 20% without us getting a choice to refuse it.

We remained silent but that means you lost our business

We held a surprise birthday party in the Queue last week. The food quality and service were exceptional! We had a large group and the the waitresses went above and beyond.highly recommend

Food took a long time to get to us, but it was busy at lunch time. Food itself was of high quality

My second time in getting the fish and chips. Just incredible. My partner and I shared the chowder as well and that too was delicious.

Personal favorite fish n chips in town. Must try!

I had the chicken and my husband had the haddock. It was all pretty good though my husbands was better.

Absolutely amazing, went here for the first time for an anniversary dinner and we were blown away. The atmosphere was awesome, the staff were super nice, particularly our waitress Shelly! We had the white wine mussels, fish and chips with the best sweet potatoe fries I’ve EVER had and a buffalo chicken sandwich dinner! It was all phenomenal. 10/10 highly recommend! Can’t wait to go back!

Great service and delicious food.
We were able to get in one evening when the outdoor patio was open, or we wouldn't have been able to get in at all.
Crab cakes were delicious, Caesar salad was freshly prepared and probably one of the best Caesar's I've had in ages. My wife had the power bowl and it was also delicious. We wanted to go again for dinner, but was fully booked and the weather changed so the patio wasn't open. Unfortunately we didn't get back for another meal before we left town.
I'd say reservations are recommended. Very popular place, especially when the cruise ships are in the harbor.

The background music didn't really suit the demographic of the diners or enhance the meal vibe

We ordered the best fettuccine Alfredo with scallops and bacon you’ve ever tasted. The vibe is relaxed and our server Liv had great recommendations!

Very nice patio and cool atmosphere! Lots of options for vegetarian and GF. The poke bowl was delicious! Cocktail menu lacking and the one drink we wanted wasn't available but the margarita was a good substitute. Decent wine selection though! Cheesecake was good but fairly generic and a bit overpriced for the size in comparison to other establishments. Overall would recommend!

First I will say our server was fantastic and did her best in a bad situation.

We reserved a table a month ago as we were excited to return to Pilot House during our stay and our last visit, a decade ago was amazing and we still remember it fondly.

This visit, not so much.

The service was great and again our server was great but their inability to cook a steak was shocking. After two failed attempts (ordered medium rare, received blue both times), we gave up and I resorted to picking away at everyone else’s plates.

While our appetizer was comped (and obviously didn’t pay for an inedible steak) we were shocked that no manager came by to say anything. Leaving the server to try to defend how the kitchen couldn’t cook their main steak even close to properly TWICE was bizarre. We felt terrible for her and hats off to her for how she handled herself.

I can’t recommend Pilot House anymore which is sad. I know these are challenging times but when you pay $150 and one person failed to receive their meal, there is an issue. I hope they can fix it.

From appetizer to dessert, amazing! Nice atmosphere and very friendly service. Walking distance to the Confederation theatre and main street shops.

Je vous recommande les fetucinis Alfredo.avec ses nombreuses petoncles et sa crème onctueuse jusqu'à la fin. Un delice pour le palais.

If you order nachos, skip the add on chicken. We asked our server if the chicken was on the nachos as there were tiny flakes in very few places. She went to the kitchen for more after saying it didn't seem like enough and she came back with a small ramekin with maybe two fork fulls of chicken. Such a rip off. Usually restaurants add a whole chicken breast for the add on. Wasn't a true blackened chicken, more like curry chicken and came shredded. Nachos were good otherwise. Good beer selection.

This quaint little pub style restaurant is an excellent place for a bite and a pint or two.

Conveniently located in downtown Charlottetown with a large patio.

The service was excellent and as we were in a hurry very fast.

The menu offered many unique dishes with a flare. The fettuccine with scallops was delicious.

It can get busy so go early on weekends!

I was looking foward for a great dinner after the reviews after seating we were told they were out of several items on the menu.

Muscles- this is PEI hello send some on to the nearest water front to pick up a few bags.

Scallops -again PEI and youre out of stock

Clam chowder - signature dish and your out of stock.

Pickels - ok I can live with this it's cucumber is vinegar no big deal

To the General manager this is PEI in tourist season Get you act together or tell us before seating that half you menu is not out of stock.

You get a 2 star for Failing to notify patrons prior to seating.

5 starts for our server who works her tail off for the tips

We could have gone to any other restaurants but we came to yours which was disappointing.

Definitely worth a stop for lunch or dinner. Amazing flavours in the dishes that make you want more. Dinner menu starts at 5: 00pm

Excellent dinner. We split the flat bread (don't get if on a date, your teeth will not thank you). I had the cranberry and brie chicken with a Caesar salad. And the carrot cake for dessert, it was delicious, moist, the cream cheese frosting was not over powering.

A definite stop if you're in pei. The staff are super friendly and the food is delicious.

I ordered the ribs which were fantastic, the potatoes were amazing.

The restaurant itself was very clean and located in an old building with character.

Was excited to eat at this restaurant. The menu was missing half the items. They did not have Mussels, clam chowder, scallops, pickles and calamari. I was in total shock ummm this is PEI an Island known for sea food. Poor management I think customers should have been informed that half the items were missing. Kennedy our host went above and beyond she did such a fantastic job. She was apologetic for not having many items on the menu. I told her it is not her fault at all. Kennedy I rate you a 5 star plus once again thank you.

Great outdoor patio and great food. Had the chicken burger, fries, flat bread pizza and garden salad.
Flatbread pizza and the garden salad were plain. And I did not like the homemade salad dressing. However their homemade ranch is amazing. I highly recommend getting a side of ranch for your fries.
Chicken burger was a 10/10
