Red Shores Racetrack & Casino

Stopped into the Red Shores Casino, I did not like the type of machines they have there. The wife and I did not enjoy our visit. We went for lunch at the Casino to find it had just closed. We will not be back. Take this as a lesson learned and make improvement measures.

I think red shores in Charlottetown is totally disgusting you spend so much money there and you don't even get into a bonus you know I know there's cutbacks they make a lot of money but you win nothing you get no prizes you get no flowers on Mother's Day you got no nothit should change big time

An amazing place to spend a evening. A wonderful meal and great entertainment with the harness racing

Bet for a horse named Patricia. Watching the race is exhilarating. My parents surely enjoyed. ️

Within the Atlantic provinces Charlottetown raceway at red shores is the best. Clean grandstand, friendly staff and great harness racing.

My family and I went there for an awesome meal in the restaurant and did some bidding and had a great time.

We were there the weekend of the Gold Cup & Saucer. It was a very busy weekend, with the horse races and a carnival all on the same property. It was around 10: 00 pm when we decided to head to the casino. We had called ahead to the casino, as we were only interested in gambling and not in the fair or races. The casino staff told us we would not have to pay for admission to the grounds, if it was after 9: 00 pm.

When we arrived, we kindly explained to the attendant that we were only interested in gaining access to the casino to gamble, however, the woman working the gate informed us that we had to pay $12 each. We explained that we had called the casino ahead and were told we would not have to pay as it was after 9 pm, but this crusty woman told us that no matter what time we arrived - even if we came at midnight, we would still have to pay.

We could understand paying if it had been earlier in the day, but we were NOT about to pay $12 each PLUS feed the slot machines in the casino.

This was our first encounter, during our trip to PEI, in which we encountered a total lack of Maritime hospitality and such rudeness!

Very small Casino, also very hot inside. We could only handle an hour inside. It was hot outside but.crank the a/c

The place was down a quiet street off a residential area. Racetrack was not running at the time of our arrival, but the whole area was dark and uninviting. Nothing about it exhumed "come on in". Very small Casino with 2 BJ, 1 Ultimate Poker and 1 Minibaccarat table, of which only 3 were open. The rest of the small area was filled with slot machines. We only lasted 15 minutes there.

Definitely a little disappointing, the casino was very small. The facilities in general were of a low quality to what I have experienced in other provinces.

They only had 3 gaming tables, all black jack. The rest were machines. Bit dissapointing, would it kill them to have just one roulette table?

Nice place. I have a wonderfull day playing casino, bet on horse races and have à good lunch.

Ce casino est relativement petit.la plupart des machines à sous sont quand même dispendieuses.comme n'importe quel Casino, l'argent va disparaitre assez vite.mais il aurait été intéressant d'avoir plus de machines avec un tarif moins élevé afin d'avoir du fun un peu plus longtemps.ceci dit, j'ai l'impression que ce casino est plus pour les gens qui sont intéressés par les courses de chevaux.si c'est votre truc, vos serez probablement bien servi.

Very clean, followed and had excellent service for the covid precautions and the staff were very friendly.

Was very accommodating for their holiday menu to me being vegan and my partner having celiac disease. The good we had was really good! Would definitely go back!

We usually have a homecoming event in August and they can't do enough for us. They set up the outdoor seating under a tent which holds upwards to 100 people. They have other venues on the grounds both inside and out. Any Islander knows to what extent they can cater to. Pricing is quite reasonable and they serve hot food as well as sandwiches.

Worth the drive if you want to see a horse race and see the horses up close, limited parking during certain times but you can always pay someone to use their lawn. Just look for the signs lol.

This was my first time visiting red shores racetrack and I loved it! Lots of amazing spots to view the race from and extremely helpful employees who showed us how to bet on horse races. I will absolutely return to this track in the future

It will be great when the public can get back to the races. I met with a friend for a late lunch on the main ground level and had wonderful service and the food was lovely! Our waiter was very pleasant and friendly, can't remember his name though.

Very friendly staff! Started with $300 @ the blackjack tables.left with $2350! All in all a great evening.the only downside was the very limited number if tables.

The most amazing food and service from Brady. Will definitely be back and will recommend to anyone. Brady is by far the best server I have had in a very long time.

Could use entry directions/map, some people have gotten lost easily in there, but also note, good customer service to assist anyone that was in the wrong direction.

The management was, quite awkward, and unhelpful. It's understandable to be at max capacity but it's a different situation to ask the question and being made to feel like an idiot for asking a question.

Had our company Christmas party at Top of the Park. It was awesome! The best value for holiday dinners around. I would highly recommend them for any business event!

The casino is great but turfs bar and grill the staff is horrible they stand around not doing anything except to stand around and ignoring the customers the only reason i come is for the live racing

Never been into a casino. This one was a good time. Take a friend to get you drinks. They don't seem to come around with drinks if you're playing at a game table.

The Turf Restaurant offers daily specials. Today it was 2 pce haddock dinner with beverage for $10. Clean place, quick service and a visit to the casino side - enjoyable stop.

We had so much fun. If you want to go to the restaurant upstairs you need reservations! We never- and the food downstairs was mediocre. But we had a great time!

This is a great spot to stop by for lunch the seafood chowder was very good. The clams were so good and they were the whole clams not just the strip. Then spent a little time at the Casino We went as a monthly family luncheon service was quick and excellent so friendly

A proffessionaly run track with great staff, good food, good views of the track from the stands and the restaurants and solid ponies racing at an international level. Well worth a visit. Family friendly!

Coming from a big city Casinos, this location was a disappointment. Not a large selection of Casino and not very busy.

Endroit magnifique rempli d'histoire, petite faim, je vous suggère le buffet au 2 ième étage. Un peu d'argent à dépenser, passer au casino. Vous aurez peut être droit à une course en plus.

This is my favorite place to go. Relax and watch the horses race all evening long. During racing season that is.

Food was great, but the slot machines are almost all video slots - only a few mechanical ones (which I prefer). Wouldn't kill them to pay out a bit more, either. ;)

Absolutely delicious, waitress not so good took cutlery before we finished wasn't impressed with her
