I have been in the auto industry for over 40 years and don’t think I have dealt with better people than Ron Martin and Kyle Stevenson. They totally go out of there way to do what you need to make your experience a good one, very much appreciated and would recommend to anyone to go see them.

Edit: I had my truck looked at and repaired somewhere else. What Reliable quoted me over $4000 for. I had done more for only $1600 elsewhere. Not only that but they were transparent, gave me everything in writing, and did the work on time in a timely manner. Reliable is nothing but scammers. Do not trust them. Go elsewhere.

I recently had a truly frustrating experience with Charlottetown Reliable Motors that has left me extremely disappointed. I brought my truck to their service center to have a manifold leak inspected and to receive an estimate for the necessary repairs, along with a few other potential issues. Unfortunately, my experience from start to finish was nothing short of a nightmare.

Firstly, despite bringing my truck in at 8am as scheduled, the technicians didn't even bother to look at it until 12pm. This unnecessary delay set the tone for the entire experience. When they finally assessed the situation, I was shocked to learn that they intended to keep my truck unless I agreed to let them replace a wheel bearing. What made matters worse was that they never provided me with the price for this forced repair.

To my disbelief, Charlottetown Reliable Motors proceeded to go ahead with the repair without giving me knowledge of the cost. This lack of transparency is completely unacceptable. Moreover, they went on to hold my truck hostage, refusing to release it unless I paid for the repair they forced upon me. This kind of behavior is not only unprofessional but also unethical.

Throughout this ordeal, I made repeated attempts to communicate my concerns to the service manager and sales manager. To my dismay, they displayed a shocking lack of accountability and customer service. They failed to offer any apology or compensation for the inconvenience and frustration I endured. Their dismissive attitude only further exacerbated the situation.

Furthermore, even after all the unnecessary repair and the unpleasant encounter, I still did not receive a price estimate for the manifold leak or the other repairs that I initially brought the vehicle in for. It is simply unacceptable for a reputable establishment to neglect its responsibilities in such a manner.

To add insult to injury, when they finally provided me with an estimate for the original repairs, I was taken aback by the exorbitant price they quoted. Their lack of professionalism, coupled with their unreasonable pricing, demonstrates a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and fair business practices.

In conclusion, my experience with Charlottetown Reliable Motors was marred by inefficiency, lack of transparency, and poor customer service. I strongly advise potential customers to think twice before entrusting their vehicles to this establishment. There are plenty of other reliable and reputable options available that prioritize customer satisfaction and uphold the principles of fair business practices.

1 Star Review for Reliable Motors.

5 Stars for Jason Peters. Jason was outstanding to deal with, and this review does not reflect *any* interaction we had with Jason at any point.

We had a couple of issues with Reliable Motors which were previously looked after. The most recent was the last straw, though, and we will not be returning to Reliable Motors.

Around 6 weeks ago, we took our Jeep to the dealer to have pictures taken for various paint defects and the warranty claim process started (some reported shortly after buying that got worse) including hinge corrosion which was bubbling/blistering the paint on some of our hinges, one of them was so bad the paint is flaking off and is browning underneath which is a very well known issue with Jeeps. After 2 weeks, we followed up to see if there was an update and they informed us they had not had a chance to submit them yet. We waited another week and requested a follow up before we left for vacation, and were informed again that they did not "have time" to submit them yet.

At the end of our 2 week vacation I sent an e-mail to follow up, and was again informed they had not submitted them yet. I wanted to follow up before we got back so that if not, we could take it to another dealer. So that is what we did - the other dealer had us take it to their body shop which took photos and created an estimate for them, they then submitted it to Jeep Canada all in the same day.

Waiting 5 weeks for a dealer to so much as submit the claim itself, and nothing else, is absolutely insane. If this is how they treat customers who bought there, I can't imagine how they treat customers that bought elsewhere.

- all my questions answered promptly and politely
- decent price on my trade in
- I felt in control of the purchase from start to finish

Our sales rep Ryan Gillis and the Finance team of Roger and Ron were top notch to deal with.

New to PEI, and have a Dodge van with a wheelchair ramp, the door chain stopped working and we stopped by the dealership without an appointment. They were quick to diagnose the problem and while they didn't have the part, they did do a temporary fix without even charging us. Very friendly too.

I went to Reliable Motors for a appointment that was booked in the afternoon was going to drop my truck off in the morning and leave it but while I was waiting they fixed my problem with the truck as I was there. I was surprised on how fast they were the word Reliable definitely suits the business. I will for sure go back in the future. While I waited for my truck I chatted with the service manager he was a very friendly man.

I was there to fix electrical issues with my Jeep Liberty. Power locks aren’t working, fuse blowing right away and headlights are ON all the time. I did my research online before I went there. I might have to replace TIPM fuse box or check actuators in doors according to online research. I went there hoping to have it fixed as they are Jeep dealership and know common problems with this vehicle and hoping to fix it. They had vehicle for 4 days and ended up saying the same which I already knew exactly and charged me almost $300 for it, didn’t fix anything.
I was speechless and just walked out paying the bill.
The guy was good at front desk but this is a huge RIP OFF.
Definitely won’t recommend for service here!

Positive communication and another issue developed immediately after recall installed, most likely related. Service booked a follow up asap and provided insight into issue. Positive experience!

New to the dodge family as of recently. The people at reliable are awesome and great to deal with. Always good experience when the truck is in for service/maintenance

Service was top notch, very friendly and informative. Due to reasons outside their control (delay in parts) it took some time to complete the work, But I was taken care of and provided a vehicle…Thank you for that!

It's hard to rate when you go to get some parts and they tell you that your parts are discontinued and that you need to go to the junk yard.
