Excellent place for seafood. The oysters were great, as was the haddock chowder. Staff were also very friendly.

Fish and Chips had a crispy batter that was very tasty. The fish inside was also very tasty and the side of fries was cooked just right, not oily or soggy. Just the right amount too. The service was fast and lighthearted. Humour to and from the waitress went over well. We were not rushed out and had I time for an interesting conversation with friends. All the world's problems were solved by the time we left. The Sticky Date Pudding for dessert just added to our enjoyable meal. Pricing is about average as well in a PEI summer where prices for everything are rising. A nice choice for our supper out.

We had a great time here celebrating our grandson's 2nd birthday. The staff was so good to put a candle on the cake we had for dessert and sing happy birthday. The food was all very good.

The chowder tasted and looked exactly like it was poured out of a Chunky Soup can. No biscuit/bread so the gloopy texture got tiring fast. I couldn’t finish it. Mussels were fine but they forgot to include the garlic bread. Fries were cold and soggy and tasted like old oil. Lobster roll meat was very finely chopped. Flavour was good but the croissant was wet on the bottom. Service at the take out counter was comically bad. The guy plopped our order for 9 people on the counter (10+ containers) and expects us to walk out while juggling it all in our hands I guess. Had to ask for a bag. He begrudgingly proceeds to slap 2 small paper bags on the counter and makes us pack our own bags.

A remotely located restaurant but it is a real gem. Service was excellent, food came quick and tasted really good. On par with more fancy restaurants, I wish they open more in different locations. The place is cute and can accommodate a lot of clients. There's even a little terrasse and lots of parking.

We went to this restaurant Wednesday afternoon and had a great time, Kayla was our server and she was so accommodating and friendly. The food was delicious and so plentiful and at great prices. You can’t go wrong with a visit to this restaurant.

The mushroom phyllo pastry was one of the most incredible dishes my partner has ever eaten. I had the lobster roll on a gluten free bun with the potato salad and both were fantastic. Service was excellent - attentive and friendly!
We would become regulars if we lived nearby.
Will come back next time we're in PEI!

Our experience at this restaurant was wonderful. Our dogs were welcome on the patio and greeted with water bowls and a toy. The staff were brilliant, hardworking, and kind. We were a party of 6 from out of Province and tried all seafood dishes which did not disappoint. Prices were reasonable and food was delicious. For dessert we shared the sticky date puddin’ and strawberry cheesecake, both were excellent. The atmosphere was relaxing, welcoming, and professional. We highly recommend this great place if in PEI, you won’t be disappointed!

We were a little hot inside but the food and service were fantastic. Fave part was the seasonal salad. Fried fish better than most places we have had it on PEI.

The waitstaff and other employees are friendly, attentive and very pleasant. The food is generally decent, but used to be much better. My interest in eating here has dwindled from its days as a local institution with excellent food. Sweet potato fries are very good. The brisket is to be avoided; It was very rubbery, definitely had something off about it, and did not meet expectations.

Amazing dinning experience, family owned restaurant in Darnley, PEI. Felt just like home here, some of the best food on our visit. If you are in the area, definitely check it out. Would recommend anything on the menu! (Wish we had a place like this back home.)

We had an excellent experience at Ship to Shore. The food was excellent and quick. In addition, our server Tressa was attentive and personable as well, including catching an error in the food and correcting it.

Highly recommend!

Took family and friends here for Father’s Day supper and was a tad disappointed. I will start by saying that all of the staff were immensely friendly and provided a great, warm and inviting atmosphere.

I was really looking forward to trying the curry chickpeas and vegetables, which is on the menu on the website, but not on the menu at the restaurant. First disappointment. Second disappointment came when trying the mushroom strudel, which I just did not like and didn’t eat more than one bite. My friend, who absolutely loves mushrooms, found it inedible as well. I think if maybe the contents of the strudel were blended to create more of a mushroom pate, and some more seasoning, it might taste a lot better. I ordered a side of root fries in hopes of at least eating something, but I found those undercooked and greasy and only ate a few.

My father and son ordered the Larkins club and were expecting more of an ‘elevated’ traditional club sandwich- they were disappointed to see that the chicken thigh was one big piece of deep fried chicken that tasted like fish (assuming everything is deep fried in the same oil).

My husband had the fish and chips and found it to be just fair.

I will say that two of our party are big seafood fans and did very much enjoy the muscles and the seafood spaghetti.

2/5 Will not be returning.

Enjoyed a very relaxing evening with friends, which was very much created by the friendly attentive waitress who served our table. She was delightful and described all the mouth-watering food choices so eloquently, which added to our entertaining experience.
We will be back with more friends very soon.
