Shoppers Drug Mart

I want share my unpleasant experience with a lady at the pharmacy desk. I have a prescription which I purchased at a Shoppers in another Province and when I went to use the prescription I saw that the seal had been broken and the box had been opened. The prescription is an inhaler and unpleasant thoughts start happening such as has someone else used this item. So off I go to Shoppers to consult on what I should do I was told so what we break those seals all the time we have to take the product out to label it. I took the product out of the box and showed her there was no label on it. I was then told that there was nothing she could do for me anyway. This is customer service at its worst this lady should really pursue other career opportunities because she is not suited for the job she is trying to do. Fortunately I have the choice on where I spend my money and it won’t be at Shoppers Drug Mart in Summerside. The reply I received is a real classic I called the phone number and the recording states we are experiencing a high volume of calls and to expect a long wait period I was naive to think I was going to talk to a live body. That’s just not going to happen it’s just a game

This is a great pharmacy where you will find dedicated pharmacy staff helping patients to meet their need diligently. All pharmacists (David, Lexy, Luke, Trent, Nick) were so knowledgeable and professional. Special thanks to David, who provides special and immense long term care for his patients. One of the greatest Shoppers on the island!

This is not specific to this location but to Shoppers Drug Mart in general.

How can you look yourself in the eye and charge the prices you charge? ! Are you not ashamed of yourselves for gouging us, your customers?

I stopped there today as I wanted to buy an ice pack for back pain relief. As I couldn’t find it I asked a lady at the drug counter and she was really rude and replied to me in a way that felt like « fuck… why would I know, don’t you see I am important as I am at the drug counter.go and ask someone on the floor » i left and went to another store where people don’t think they are superstars and are happy to help their customers… worst experience ever at a Shoppers Drug Mart, so I will stick with Jean Coutu when I am back in Montréal…. In a hockey game, she would have gotten a 5 minutes penalty for rudeness and in real life I would fire here or make sure she isn’t in a position to talk to a customer… I think Lexy didn’t like my French accent… seriously, she shouldn’t be talking to a customer…

Lexy is super racist lady. I asked her a very simple question and she made it a very big deal. Please avoid her.she won’t bother to answer what you ask. David is very helpful and nice person. I always prefer him but he wasn’t in today. Katherine first came to help me and she said lemme ask lexy and lexy didn’t ever bother to check the product and answer properly. I literally want David to train her again how to talk politely and be nice with people. Please tell her to treat everyone fairly. If she doesn’t like her job then she should quit.

Super rude.when the clerk asked my question to the pharmacist due to not knowing they laughed at it and did not even bother to talk to me to clarify.
