Don’t hesitate, just go. I have not had more fresh, unique, and stunningly delicious food in the maritimes *in years* before going here. It beats many high end restaurants in my home town of Halifax, and without the pretentiousness or inflated prices. You can tell the people working here love what they do, and it shines through in the food and cocktails… omg the cocktails! I will be dreaming of this place until I can return, absolutely wonderful 10/10 experience

Came for happy hour. Outstanding drinks and food. All of the staff was knowledgeable and prompt. Will definitely be back.

The food and service were outstanding. Generous portions of creative food options with great value for money. Definitely recommend if you're in Charlottetown. Reserve though they fill up quickly?

My favorite place to eat and stay when in charlottetown! The rooms are exquisite, perfect to enjoy your breakfast charcuterie board while relaxing in the bath. Any food I've eaten in the restaurant is perfection, and the cocktails are all 10/10. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable and friendly.

We go here every year for our anniversary. We love they decor and food. On our most recent visit my fiancee was starting to have a panic attack (he's slightly agoraphobic) at the end of our meal and the waitress was very sweet. She was very understanding and did what she could to help. I wish I got her name.

WUNDERBARAre here a week ago. The interior is like no other in PEI (if you want upmarket), the ambiance is great, the staff are friendly and welcoming. The food delicious. We had an impromptu meal here and can’t wait to come back. Defo gonna be coming here next valentines!

2021 Edit - We had the lamb special! Somehow, we got two lamb steaks each. The meal was completely heavenly! The flavours!

Best dinner spot in Charlottetown! Great decor, delicious food and amazing cocktails, we sat at the bar and made friends as everyone was quite friendly. Would definitely go back!

We went for dinner a few weeks ago. It was pretty chilly outside, but the heated patio (with blankets) kept us warm. Our server was incredible and the food was all delicious!

Sooo good! Presentation is wonderful.food is superb. The service is both friendly and fast with a wonderful cozy atmosphere.
Prices are very reasonable. Reservations can be made and are recommended. Can't wait to go back for more!
And we did! Photo is of "Lost in translation". A delicious seared tuna slices, quinoa, avocado, tasty dressing among other ingredients.
Best food on the island!

The charcuterie board was amazing! It's nice to see some seafood on the board instead of the usual meat & cheese. We loved the pickled elements specifically the watermelon & grapes. I enjoyed my potato crusted haddock main with potato dauphinoise (my first time & it was my favorite part of the dish). The roasted veggies were also my fav.pretty much all the veggies which tells you how well they do it since I'm a meat eater. Unfortunately my husband's main (piri piri chicken) was dry plus they added an element to the dish without consulting him. When we told our server, she took it off the bill which was really kind of her to do. Lastly, their blueberry coconut mojito (no alcohol) was amazing!

Always great food, good service.even with a limited Fiona menu, still one of the best eateries in downtown.make reservations, always a popular spot!

Absolutely the best restaurant meal I have had all summer. Fantastic service and servers and the desert (s) are beyond amazing.

A MUST! I could not get a table inside due to the demand, but they had a lovely heated patio outside with blankets. My waiter, Steve, was absolutely incredible and made sure everything was perfect for me; amazing service! Now the food. I don't think you can go wrong here with any of the choices. I had the Ringleader Burger (bacon jam hello!), Raspberry Mule mocktail, and the Apple Gilet dessert. I will definitely be stopping there next time I'm in Charlottetown.

I can’t really begin to express the taste experience that hit us with their seafood chowder and crab cakes… every single bite was slow, enjoyed and fantastic. A 25 out of 10. “the best seafood chowder I’ve ever had” from my Wife who was born and raised in PEI.

Cool spot to hang with the locals. The cocktails menu trended towards the sweet side so don't be afraid to order off menu. The tuna tartar, scallops, and halibut were excellent.

Beautiful building. The decor is wonderful and the vibe is welcoming, cozy and romantic. The cocktails were the best part of this experience. The tenders are experienced and very capable. Their house-designed cocktails are well mixed and creative. Requesting a classic or an off-menu cocktail goes over well and they happily accommodate.
The server was wonderful. Food came quickly and was presented very well at perfect temperatures.
I guess the only reason I am not giving a full 5 stars for food was the richness. I had the chowder and crab cakes, but both were too rich to be able to finish. Flavor was great! But it was too much. The bacon jam was a bit too sweet for me and the chowder seemed maybe too reduced? Not sure, I'm far from a chef!
None-the-less, we will absolutely visit again. We love the vibe at this location so it's a favorite when we are in Charlottetown.

Parking: no possibility to park, so we had to park on the street.we were fined for this as well. (the staff suggested to park in a park lot further away, this was not an option since we needed thing from our car regularly.)

staff: after commenting about no parking spot, staff claimed that there should be (which was not). Ui had to take a picture and show them to make this clear.this got a very condescending and rude response "ah you took a picture and everything".

room: a lot of noise from the hallway so we slept badly.breakfast: very sober and poor breakfast.we got 1 small croissant for 2 people.and 3 mini pieces of cheese.french press coffee machine did not work well either.overall: the hotel is overrated in my opinion and not worth the price we paid.

Fantastic experience.great service and very good quality food and cocktails. We had he tuna salad and the burger with a side of fries. Both cocktails were amazing too. Nice patio outside and overall a 10/10 experience.

The best meal of our visit to PEI bar none. Our waiter Steve just made the excellent food even better with his passion & sincerity. Cannot recommend the establishment enough if you are looking for a great meal, a great drink & great ambiance. Just wish they had a place closer to home for us, I would become a Norm to their Cheers in a heartbeat.

A hidden gem tucked away on a side street is where you’ll find this amazing local gastro.
We stopped by here for dinner as our first restaurant and it did not disappoint!
Laura was exceptional, friendly and attentive to us, checking at the right time for our orders and anything else we needed.
Food and drinks were delicious, fresh and reasonably priced at the perfect portion to satisfy our hunger.
Burger is a must, flavoured with an amazing sauce and juicy burger meat.
PEI blue dot steak also just melts in your mouth.
If you’re a crème brûlée fan, you must have that for dessert.
Overall exceeding our expectations and would definitely go back again.

Is it difficult to get a table here during the summer? Yes. Is it worth the effort anyways? Oh My God, Yes!

This is the best restaurant on PEI (Sorry Richard's, but You're a delicious second place).

Lunch on the patio in 29 degrees weather! Excellent service and seafood chowder, crab cakes and beet a d goat cheese salad.

Dropped in for late afternoon appetizers & drinks. Service was friendly & prompt. Every bite was delicious!

I work in the film industry and travel often to PEI from NS and this Resturant is why I look forward to working in PEI!
The Queen street is the best drink I have had in my entire life - and their food is consistently perfection. Everyone I have brought with me to the SM has been blown away (even the toughest critics). The owner is almost always there, and the staff are genuinely interesting, knowledgeable people.

Don't go when you're hungry, don't go when you're not hungry. The kitchen is going to take forever anyway. The servers didn't give us any heads up on how backed up their kitchen was. We waited 1 hour for the appetizer to come out. When we were finishing up the first dish, the servers assured us that our mains would come right out. Ended up waiting 1.5 hours just to see a table who arrived well after us receive their mains. Ours did not come out "right away" like the servers had told us. Decided the place wasn't worth another second so went inside to take care of the bill. Even then it didn't look like they were going to bring out the food we ordered anytime soon.
Went to John Brown's as soon as we left and we were eating our steaks within half an hour.

Had really high expectations for the restaurant as it was my first time there but it was a huge disappointment.

Great place to dine, excellent food and great price, friendly staff and amazing service. Definitely will return for sure
