Express shipping is the absolute biggest joke. Just don't pay it, it's not gonna get to you in time. Apparently it takes almost a week to travel between towns less than 40 min apart. Canada post issue but I really don't think you should offer something that can not be upheld. Won't be upping my review even if the boots are great. This whole experience has me wishing I'd just paid more and bought in a store I have locally. Save your time and money, buy in store somewhere else

Will update when I get my boots but don't waste your money on express shipping. You pay for it then they send you a delay email. Why charge people extra for faster shipping when you can't keep up your end of that sale. Bought through you because of Black Friday sales, haven't gotten my product yet and already regretting not spending the extra 10$ to shop elsewhere.

Decent shoe store in terms of location and selection, plenty of choices but poor organization. Kind of hard to locate anything you want. Also, you can stand there waiting for help and they will ignore you. Two clerks running around with only two customers in store. I waited for a while and finally just talked to the cashier and got some one to grab the shoes. I would have left if this is not the only shoe place in the entire place (if you can actually call it a mall.)

I avoid this store at all costs. I don’t mind stopping by, looking at the products & then ordering them online but to get good service in the Charlottetown location is a joke. I have had numerous issues every single time I tried to make purchases which all ended in me leaving and ordering online because the staff are so unwilling & uninterested in helping customers. The first experience I had was when I wanted to buy Birkenstock’s. I had my 6 year old & my infant with me. We were the only people in the store while I was browsing, there were three employees having a conversation at the cash, none acknowledged me. I found a few pairs I liked, asked for sizes, the employee brought them out & turned right back around & went back to her conversation with her coworkers. I had to go interrupt again for different sizes & styles, she returned & said ‘we don’t have that size in stock’ & again turned around to go back to chit chatting with her coworkers, didn’t offer an alternative, didn’t offer to order my size in store, was more interested in getting back to gossiping with her coworkers. I had my 6 year old & my baby with me, clearly my hands were fairly full yet she didn’t feel the need to be helpful. Frustrated, I left without making a purchase & I called Softmoc head office the moment we got home because I wanted to buy a good pair of sandals & me wanting to make a purchase & try shoes on seemed to be a huge inconvenience for their employees. The people at head office were very generous & helpful & I was able to order a pair in my size online. I have ordered a few times since with no issue but my last pair of boots I got were too small so I had to return them in store. While the girl helping me was helpful, she left the desk multiple times to do price checks & grab sizes for other customers & actually had a different employee finish the transaction. It took much longer than it needed to had the employee just focused on the one task at hand. Everytime she interrupted my return to help someone else she had to start over & it took almost 45 minutes to complete the return & order another pair in an appropriate size. I’d like to add there were atleast 6 people working that day. I don’t know if there are gaps in training the employees or if some people in retail are just not interested in providing good service but Softmoc, it’s been 5 years since my first horrible experience with you in store & nothing has changed.what gives? Love your products but would rather travel across the country to go to a different Softmoc than go to the one in Charlottetown.

I went in to return a pair of shoes because they were cheaply made, so when I asked the manager to refund my money she said that she could only give me in store credit, or if I wanted the cash I had to write a letter to the main office and basically beg for my money. I wasn't going to take those bad options because legally I have a right to get a full refund, so I started recording her to show everyone the bad customer service I was getting. She then threatened to get security to toss me out but security was out sick today, so she then threatened to call the police because I was recording her and I said go ahead it's perfectly legal to record her in any public place, she stormed off and called the cop's waited for the police to show up, they did and sided with me telling her to refund my money, the cops were very professional and sympathetic to my cause. I got my money and was told to leave and never come back. So I suggest that everyone save your hard earned money and shop somewhere else to save themselves the hassle I got for something so simple turning into almost a legal battle thank you to the Charlottetown police for knowing the law and doing the right thing. The only reason I gave one star is because you have to to write the review, they are so desperate for money they will even call the cops so they don't have to give you ur money back.the video will be posted on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram, merry Christmas softmoc
