Swept Away Cottages

We stayed at these cottages again and again we have found them spectacular. I read through some of the other reviews and I do believe some people just cannot be pleased. The cottage again was very clean and comfortable and if we had any needs they would respond in a timely manner. I recommend these cottages to anyone for a stay on PEI.

Suzy (property manager) was always so helpful and kind.
Love the location. You can bike to cavendish beaches and all the amusement parks nearby.

Went for a family vacation, had a great experience. Lots on site to do with a swing set, trampoline and of course the pool. The location is great, close to the boardwalk, a water park, sandspit, so much to do. The cabins were clean, well equipped and quiet. We booked again for next year!

I must say my stay here was absolutely spectacular. Always met with a wonderful smile from all the staff who go out of their way to keep you happy and content. The owner of these cottages makes sure the property is very well maintained. If you have any issues they are immediately there to help. They are courteous to all guests and try their very best to please everyone who stays there. I would highly recommend anyone visiting the island to stay with these wonderful people because they really make you feel at home away from home. I will definitely return and tell all my friends to stay here it’s like a piece of heaven here.

I’ve struggled over this review for a while. The owners clearly want good reviews and think they’re doing what they should to get them, but our experience was affected by a thousand cuts. When we arrived, things started well when they said that they’d just opened for the season and to let them know if anything was amiss. But, unfortunately, loads of things were amiss, and their reaction to the first few was just terrible. Our group booked three cute cottages and one was preheated, two were ice cold. The preheated one had no hot water and we were offered another cottage with working hot water. That new cottage also had cold water coming from the faucets.
We came back from our first day out after the office had closed, and the lock wouldn’t open. It turned out that the lock needed oiling, but it took nearly an hour before the manager returned and made their master key go into the lock.
None of three cottages had propane at the grills, and one of the cottages needed propane for indoor heating, but that was missing too. One of the three cottages had a lighter for the grills, one of the three grills worked properly, and the gas the working cottage’s grill was hooked up to, lasted for only 15 minutes before running dry. Our towels weren’t collected until day four (of five), the curtains didn’t fit, etc. On our final night, the hot water in one of the cabins suddenly stopped working.
