Great experience, friendly stylists. They were attentive and patiently listened to what you want. As my hair is alittle out of control with all the frizz and tangel and curls, Lacey, my now new hair stylist, was so gentle with me.

I had an appointment for a significant cut with Lace. It was a bit complicated and even though she is still a student she did an amazing job. She is easy to talk to, she understood what I wanted and she took advice from her mentor very willingly. I would recommend her to anyone. Very wonderful experience. She’s a great girl.

I had Lacey do my braids for my wedding! And let me tell you! Nobody can tell me ANYTHING. I've been a dang GODDESS since Lacey did my hair!
I will absolutely be going back! This is my new go to hair style. As someone struggling deeply with mental health issues, having a hair style that is ME, is BEAUTIFUL and is MINIMAL upkeep.whew. The amount of times I've cried happy tears while looking in the mirror the last week, significantly outweighs the sad times I've cried while looking in the mirror rhe last year.

Finally found someone that doesn't just phone it in when cutting men's hair. Emily is great and I left with a great cut.

I have my highlights done with Kristen Peters. She is a magical artist and amazing person. She listens very well and give the valuable suggestions and also asked whether I am comfortable or not. I recommend her and give 10/10 numbers

Unfortunately my hair cut was not what I wanted. I had told the hair stylist that I did NOT want layers and when I got home and the next day after the curls were out, I noticed the entire underneath is layered, making it very difficult to put back into a pony tail and, personally, I hate the look of layers which is why I said no layers please. I also find the cut is definitely shorter than what I had asked for. I haven’t hated a hair cut in so long. Will probably not return to tangerine.

Love this place, they really care about helping you get exactly the right hairstyle that you’re envisioning. I made an appointment for highlights, and then when the day came I told them I’m kind of happy with how my hair colour is looking these days, so they were happy to pivot and make it a different kind of appointment. Also they always have some fun Netflix show going in the wash room, it’s a great, lighthearted place and the people are all wonderful. Highly recommend.

My hairstylist was Olivia and she was so freaking nice, sweet and totally understandable. She cares so much and take her time making sure I’m satisfied with it. Literally the best service, I’m definitely coming back! <3

AMAZING! Stephanie Lace is fabulous, she's so good, I cannot recommend her enough! She listens to what you want, and if you're making a dramatic change, like I did, she will methodically ensure she gives you exactly what you want. I've left a few salons rather unhappy in the past, so I cannot tell you how pleased I am with Tangerine and with Stephanie especially! I'm not one to give easy good reviews, but I unequivocally give Stephanie L and this place five stars. The atmosphere is cheery and welcoming. I'm a very happy customer and I will most certainly be returning!

Caleigh definitely has a talent with hair and no matter what cut, style or color I throw her way, she wow’s me every time!
It is also a bonus that they offer coffee, tea or wine while you lighten/color. I’d recommend this place to anyone.

Susan was terrific. I am a visitor to the island and my hair is not easy to work with. Susan did a great job.

I booked because of all the positive reviews but I had the worst experience. I never leave reviews and I won’t call out the hairdresser by name. I went in for a root bleach and a toner. Should be pretty simple but the hairdresser didn’t leave the bleach in long enough. I had to sit though 3 toners for her to try and fix it. I had to text my old hairdresser to find out what toner she used. I was charged $130 and still left with yellow roots. I tried calling the manager to get it fixed. I called twice and never heard back from her.

I’m a seasonal resident on PEI and needing a haircut badly. I called for an appointment and they squeezed me right in with Marley…. The salon is bright and clean and Marley was a delight. Very friendly and we chatted together through the whole experience. She explained to me how she cuts and styles and I’ll tell you I got a great haircut that I can manage easily. Definitely will be returning for another cut before I go back to Boston.

They are very knowledgeable. I went in for a consultation on a cut and bleach/dye with no experience. She was able to explain what I would need done and how much it would cost right upfront. My hair looks amazing, I was a little worried the bleach would damage my hair but it feels great and is exactly what I wanted.
