Fabulous coffee here, the best we found in the Maritimes. We're so glad we found them, well worth a visit.

It is a very cozy coffee shop with nice coffee and food. During our short visit to Charlottetown, we came here several times. It's a gem

Good atmosphere, fast and kind service. Drinks & Food are priced slightly ok the higher end but you do taste the difference in the quality of the food as well. Enjoyed the experience!

Haven't tried the food, but the Matcha latte and the Lavender Fog are amazing! A stop you have to make when travelling in Charlottetown. Have gone twice since arriving to PEI for our trip we haven't been disappointed!

The coffee is expensive, and I told the employees I would like to dine in coffee in the mug, but it's ending in the regular paper cup, small one for 5.5dollars

Excellent, modern cafe in downtown Charlottetown. We had coffees and the breakfast burritos. Both were great. The burritos were made with fresh ingredients and were full of flavor. We loved the atmosphere here!

Service atroce (le personnel affiche une mine dépitée - aucun sourire (looks like they don’t want to be there) et le café n’est pas bon + brûlant! Don’t waste your time there!

Great place to sit a spell and relax. The cafe mocha was delicious. The All day breakfast sandwich was wonderful, the croissant was so buttery.

Atmosphere is very cool, the rose beet latte was interesting and tasty, wifi was very good (could easily do a big group zoom call with video!) too!

Very good iced latte, and they also have plant based milk which is awesome! The carrot cake is also very good and the atmosphere in the cafe is great as well. Just a bit pricier than other places.

Decent latte, kind of a tossup between this and Receiver. Favorite coffee place in PEI remains Willow Cafe, but that was out West.

The breakfast burritos are the best we've had. Coffee is delicious too.
But really, you need to try the burrito.

Good spot, for your java! Owners/staff could be a little freindly, but coffee and atmosphere is good, as well you pay half the cost for food than at Receivers!

The place is truly beautiful, foods good and coffee as well but the barista who served us gave us a really bad service and attitude. Was really awkward and unplaisant. Will not go back there.

They got it right. Great food and coffee in an eclectic space but not too woke. The Latte and Americano was great and I ordered the Californian toast, which was a PEI riff on the Australian avocado smash. My husband got the fresh blueberry baked in pancakes and demolished them lol. There are library of games and books and the ambiance would make you linger. Outside seating was lovely today.

What a treat to find a halal joint in Charlottetown and they have samosas! Hurrah!

Stopped in here on a rainy afternoon for breakfast. Service was fast and ambience was inviting.

Visiting Charlottetown from Toronto and came here for breakfast. Had their cappuccino and salmon bagel and they were excellent. I was told all the other meat is halal as well which is amazing.

Perfect! European style, freshly prepared, good service. Many options of coffee and other drinks

Great location and friendly staff. Nice little patio at the front of the store, where we were able to sit with our dogs and enjoy a cup of coffee. Will definitely return here.

Coffee shop had a nice atmosphere. However, drinks were a complete miss for us. The barista forgot to put sugar in the iced chai latte. Sugar was added upon request and the drink was average in taste. The milk in the latte was way over steamed which gave the coffee a strange off-putting flavour. We paid $11.50 for the 2 drinks and the quality was just not there.

Always have breakfast here when in Charlottetown. Favorite: porridge with blueberries, maple syrup, seeds and milk dairy or non-dairy.

One of the best chai lattes I’ve ever had, Fresh croissant and good warm americano. The spot is great for a chat with a friend or even sit down and get some work done.

Great coffee place with small selection of snacks. Didn’t tell them I wanted my eggs over-easy so them being cooked too much is on me I guess. We really like the mood of this place!

Would definitely recommend to enter. Knowledgeable stuff, told me about how they blend the coffee in house. Have Oat milk ️ We spent an hour with kids and games

The food was perfect, really. Tasty, fresh and crispy, 5-star. But, you know the saying "judge a place by its bathrooms"? This was like a central bus station bathroom. Filthy, no paper, smelly.

If you're in Charlottetown and are not having breakfast here you are missing out. The ambience and food are excellent. Very interesting (and delicious!) coffee options, samosas are to die for, and the prices are very fair!

Bitter, watered down coffee. Food was of poor quality and stuck to wrapping paper, renderiny it impossible to eat. Staff was unfriendly.

Received a slightly warm bagel with the avocado spread on the side with no knife after a 30 minute wait. Coffee was also poor quality.

Loved the food (Had veggie Samosa which I fell in love with and Blueberry pancake) and the coffee (nutella Latte, also tried the amazing pink rose Latte) and really good service

2/7 people in our group managed to get good food on time, the coffee tastes significantly worse than Tim Hortons. The mugs at least look nice

The coffee and the atmosphere is excellent. The food is great. I recommend the chicken "shawarma" (not quite original, but still good).

I give 4 stars instead of 5 because the restrooms could be cleaner and some dishes, like the poutine, are hit or miss.

Out of all the coffee shops I've visited in PEI during the Covid-era, this one has succeeded at doing something that few others have: maintaining a sense of normalcy. All of the public health guidelines are in place without detracting from creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. If you're looking for a coffee shop to study, relax and enjoy yourself at despite the circumstances, this is the one I'd recommend without hesitation.

Kettle Black offers some of the best food items in the downtown. You'll notice that the prices are a bit on the high side but every penny is worth it. I've had the breakfast wrap: Egg, hashbrown, peppers, onion and cheese wrapped tightly in a white flour tortilla - absolutely delicious.the wraps are fresh, ingredients just as fresh and the flavor is fantastic. I've been a repeat customer for their Falafel wrap: Housemade falafel, red onion, romaine, herbs, dressing and feta cheese - fantastic flavours. The only criticism I have for Kettle is something that's really beyond their control. Their kitchen is only staffed with one person which makes order times a bit long. But I have a solution for you, call your order ahead to save the wait, it is worth it believe me. The guy that staffs their kitchen is awesome, knows what he's doing and does it with a big smile, give em a wave and thank him before you leave with what I guarentee will be fantastic food. I'm a regular now thanks to their skilled kitchen guy and equally awesome Barista staff, keep up the good work!

Stopped in to try out their coffee and teas. I really enjoy their iced coffee and have gone out of my way to get it again. My significant other got a London fog but was disappointed.

Was looking for an evening coffee and dessert. Quiet and pleasant atmosphere. Really good coffee and small but oh-so-rich chocolate cheesecake.
Was very happy to find this spot.

I entered this cafe with high hopes. Inside, the atmosphere was lovely and the music was great. The menu looked promising. I ordered a Nutella latte, which was great, along with a grilled cheese sandwich. After about a 35 minute wait, I received what looked (and tasted) like two pieces of bread smooshed together and microwaved for 10 seconds. It was cold. Sure, go to enjoy a warm drink. I would not suggest eating here.

Lovely coffee and breakfast wrap but POSSIBLY THE WORST "GRILLED CHEESE" ON EARTH! I love this restaurant and want them to succeed so: Owners, please don't just toast two slices of bread and put a couple of Kraft cheese slices between them. UNMELTED and super dry! Ask your next customer how to make a grilled cheese sandwich!

Great coffee but the girl who waited on us showed some serious attitude. Made for an unpleasant experience and wasn't worth it.

Without question the worst blueberry pancakes i've ever had! Not only were they not cooked fully, but they took about 35 minutes and when they were FINALLY served.they were cold.
Ps.throwing blueberries on top of plain pancakes does not equal blueberry pancakes definitely don't recommend and will not be back!

The food was good but the portion was a bit small. Cozy place and comfortable for friendly meetings. *edit to request from owner* I had pancakes for breakfast.

Coffee is good, and it's a lovely place to sit and work but the food is inconsistent at best. My order took forever and wasn't correct. They offered to remake right away though. The last time I was here the kitchen closed (randomly) at like 1: 30 and I couldn't even order. Had a great experience when I was here back in May though, so I'm torn. I WANT to love this spot. Hope I can revise this rating soon.

J'ai pris le "loaded veggie sandwich" et le goût du vinaigre l'emportait sur le reste. J'avais eu un coup de foudre pour cet endroit quand je suis venue il y a 5 ans et ce n'est malheureusement pas à la hauteur de mes souvenirs. Il n'y a plus rien de fruité/un peu sucré pour le déjeuner. Très bon café et décor agréable.

Coffee is good, hash was decent. California toast on gluten free bread was soggy the avocado spread was flavorless and the pickles are unneccessary it was hard to eat, very hard. Sorry guys almost had me jamming, not so much though.
