Shop seems to be getting very dirty and untidy. Broken toys on shelves. Washroom was filthy. New self check out doesn't take cash. And prices are getting higher (some clothes are cheaper new in Old Navy and Walmart!)

It's OK. I'd rather go to French's in nb first. Not a great place if your a size xl or bigger

Prices are so unbelievably high that they are above the prices of retail stores selling NEW products. I saw the same set of glasses with 1 missing for DOUBLE the price of what I bought the exact same set for at the Tiger store. Today I bought a 5-inch bowl here that came to 7$ after tax (I regret this too). Same thing with them overpricing junk that you can find for cheaper and new at dollarama. On top of it all, we have to use self checkout. For a company that runs on donations, they are extremely greedy and it’s driving customers like myself to shop new (contributing to global waste) than used. We need to stop donating to these stores to remind them that their consumers are also their supply providers. STOP DONATING HERE!

Little pricey for a second-hand store, but if you search long and hard enough, you can find some deals.

Prices keep going up every month. Brand new prices for used clothing. Uneducated out of touch with reality. Loud obnoxious management. Not worth it to go here anymore. Will post pictures of prices in near future if things do not change. Shame. Update Apr 24/23. Overheard management talking about annual transactions being the same but # of items in transaction are down and were wondering why. Here is your answer, your pricers are all uneducated on pricing (this came straight from your employees), your prices are laughable and keep going up every quarter. Educate yourselves on the cost of brand new items. Also, you get your items by donation, the GREED is unbelievable, reason why we don't donate here and donate to Mission Thrift. STOP embarrassing yourselves. SEE BELOW PIC, used COSTCO brand hoodie for $20, not worth that brand new! Seen an old desk there yesterday for $249.99, they get this stuff for FREE

I usually love thrifting here. But the thing is there is no changing rooms, so you can’t see if things fit well. And addition to that, you don’t even get your money back if you return items. You only get in store credit.

Some things are over priced, can buy cheaper in the store. Especially when everything is donated.

As far as reuse stores go, this place has a lot of products to choose from. Only things that could improve upon is lower pricing since all their products have been supplied free to them. It seems, to me, that many items are priced relative to their pricing new and cut in half (even though they're obtained free of charge). Of course, items valued much higher will cost even more (thanks to the internet, everyone with access knows what items are worth).
The other improvement would be to have a chunk of their incredible profits go towards charity. I don't know if it happens, but the workers should share in overall store profits as well. Would help increase the workers loyalty, hard work, and peace of mind knowing they are sharing their employers profit.
These are just my thoughts.

It's got lots of good stuff but they push the charity thing a bit to far, since they aren't a charity, I noticed the free recycling bin for electronic was carneraed and closed off. I found the Store, ridiculous at what you can do if you sell garbage to panhandlers. Border paradise. Still across canada as the Homeless and jobless rates soar, its stores like this that give charity a bad name. Peace.

I like the recent change in the layout of clothes. I mostly come here for the childrens toys. Compared to other Value Villages, we have a relatively large section dedicated to toys!

I go there when I need to shop for cables and accessories for electronic devices. So easy and quick to find if they have what I need, as all the cables, adapters etc.are displayed on hooks at the rear (southwest corner) of the store. My most recent purchase was an HDMI cable. I was in and out in under 3 minutes.

The supervisor or manager are so rude and it looks like they hate their job. The store smells horrible and stink inside. There are cloths in really bad condition to sell it. Better use them for rags or cloths to clean instead to sell it.
