The mussels might very well be the best on PEI. Fish cakes are so-so, but the chowder and blueberry cake are great. Nice outside seating. Debbie was a super nice server and very good. Good value. /

Very nice place to eat beautiful atmosphere. Views of the Montague River. Found the food little bland. I will try again and have something different.

Everything was fantastic! Seafood cooked to perfection, everything fresh and made in house! Right down to the whipped butter and dinner bun. Finished the delicious meal with a delicious Monte Cristo coffee. Service was fast and made great suggestions for GF options. Would definitely come back

Amazing view of the water, nice staff, and delish food. The lemon pepper halibut and the seafood linguine are a must try.

Nice restaurant. Lobsters are good. Staff is very courteous. We didn’t had reservations but they accommodated us. And gave amazing hospitality. Met several amazing friends

We all appreciated the flavours in our food, but the seafood was all overcooked and the food lacked a bit of "something special" given the prices of the food. We ordered oyster appetizers which came with lemon and my husband had to ask for hot sauce. They were delicious. My daughter ordered the seafood chowder which was delicious. I shared a Caesar salad with my youngest. The dressing was likely housemade, but the bagged bacon bits and bagged parm were super disappointing for the $14 price point.

My husband ordered the linguini. Other than the overcooked seafood, it was delicious and the sauce was well-seasoned. I ordered the cioppini which had good flavour in the broth (although I suspect it was thinned out pasta sauce) but again, the seafood was overcooked, and almost all of my mussels had sand in them. My oldest ordered the seafood bubble bake which she loved, except for the rice pilaf which perplexingly had raw veggies mixed into it. Her other side was uninspired steamed carrots, turnips or parsnips, and broccoli. Our kids had well-priced meals of pan-fried haddock with mashed potatoes and steamed veggies, and a bowl of penne in tomato sauce (I think this was the base for the cioppini sauce).

It was a cozy atmosphere and service was very friendly. It just seems like maybe nothing has been changed or updated in decor or menu in decades. Seafood servings were very generous. We were just expecting a much more elevated experience for the price.

This restaurant has a beautiful little view of the water. We had the carrot ginger soup, the lobster stuffed mushrooms and the bubbly bake and it was all really good! Oh yes.and we finished with the bread pudding. The food was great and the service was friendly. A lovely spot. Would recommend!

View from the patio. $34 for a lobster sandwich shocked me. But it was delicious. And so was the clam chowder. All of their desserts are freshly made in house. The raspberry cheesecake was delicious.

Excellent food and ambiance. The first waitress we saw was a bit standoffish and I wasn’t sure if we would be welcome, but the one who actually served us was lovely. It’s a pricey location but with excellent food. We had the lobster roll and chowder soup combo. It was Devine. Not too salty. There was a good amount of lobster and the chowder had a good amount of fish. We also had fresh rolls that came with that were melt in your mouth good. The presentation was appetizing. The service was a nice compromise between attentive and allowing us to chat.

To say this restaurant is exquisite would be an understatement. Ideal location looking out onto the river with delicious food. The server was so welcoming and friendly! She made sure we had everything we needed and we were served very quickly. The mussels were to die for with a melted butter and garlic sauce. The mussels were huge too! The seafood chowder melted in your mouth and was so filling it could warm a white walkers heart. The lobster roll was the perfect ratio of lobster, celery, and bun. All in all, a perfect place for a quaint lunch in a small PEI town. The history of the house and small space adds to the experience in the best way. 20/10 will be coming back

Sitting out on the back deck as the sun sets with a view of the river is a nice place to be. The food isn’t too shabby either.
