3 Amigos

This place serves THE best Mexican food, but when we had our food the waiter took the card payment machine and he himself did put 18% tip. He didn’t even give us a chance to do it. We were disappointed with the experience. Apart from this, I just love the ambience of the place.

I was surprised that the shrimp pasta was my favourite dish. Generous portions. Decent drinks.

We are 6 people and it's about 20min and no one comes to take order, i'll be update about the food too (of course it's busy too) food was too greasy.

The food is not so mexican but ok.
The service not great, we had to chase the waiters to order and one even told us he was not our waiter. It was ok because we were hungry but wouldn't go again.

We wanted some different food after a day roaming around and we found the 3 Amigos restaurant, we never ate there and we gave it a try.
We had some fajitas and we were not disappointed, the food was tasty not bland at all, the tacos also were really good and the meat was perfectly seasoned.
Overall and nice pleasant experience with good service and decent prices.

J’ai adoré mon expérience et la bouffe était excellente. Mon mojito par contre était trop sucré. Merci à Antoine pour son service exceptionnel. Son service amical a vraiment ajouté une touche spéciale à notre soirée.

I go usually on Wednesday nights, inside.

The waiter next to the bar is super nice and attentive.

Superb service with superb drinks

We have been to two new mexican/ latino restaurants on Wellington over the last couple of months, tacos burritos Etc both were over $100 with including one cocktail to me way overpriced. Three Amigos long time restaurant chain food was on par if not better and considerably cheaper overall excellent experience first time I've been there in probably 20 years continued success

The food was acceptable, tasty, and affordable. Food preparation was so fast! But the service was slow. I had to ask the server to come to our table instead of them visiting us and ask if we need anything.

One of staff member (white hair person) doesn’t known how to give respect to customers. He is so rude. We have some confusion regarding order. So we ask again but he gives answer so rudely

Les plats sont bons mais les portions très petites pour le prix. Les piscines de margarita n'ont pas beaucoup d'alcohol. Enfin trops peu trop chère

I am in love with this place, the food was delicious, they serve first good chips with tasty salsa for free.

Then I ordered fried calamari, it was served with spicy mayo sauce, it was crispy and enjoyable, one of the best in Montreal! The chicken fajitas were as well good and served with 4 tortillas to create your tacos.

Although I had a cocktail, but it tastes like medicine.

Finally, the waiter and the vibe were pleasant!

J'ai pris mon repas pour apporter, mais j'aurais bien mangé a ce restaurant, car il y avait une superbe ambiance. Merci mon repas étais délicieux

Restaurant mexicain très sympathique sur la rue Sainte-Catherine! Service un peu long, mais plat savoureux et très copieux! On ressort de là en en ayant eu pour son argent. Le personnel est agréable mais si certains ne sont pas très à l'aise avec le français.

The mexican food drinks and the ambience here is amazing. The quesadilla, the enchilladas were amazing. Must try drink is the bull dog. Had a great time here.

We order, but take time to arrive. Service was good. But we have to call every time that we need somenthing

Packed with flavors! If you like lamb I definitely recommend getting the birria tacos with the lamb. It’s so soooo juicy and they really pack it up. Don’t be afraid to get messy:) the ceviche appetizer was good but I wouldn’t get it again (nice presentation though). The atmosphere is fun and there was a dj when I went on a Friday evening. The drinks are pretty big and worth trying. Will definitely come back!

Loved this place! Authentic fresh food & creative, festive cocktails. We were visiting from out of town and were lucky to get a seat. By the time we left, they were lined up to get in. Our server, Sebastian was friendly and attentive. Music was getting louder by the time we left at 9pm.partyyyy time!

Wednesday fajita night, and an Amigos Margarita. So yum! Super busy, so give yourself a little extra time, but it wasn't bad at all. And our waitress was super sweet!

Food was good, beverages were good but service was lacking for majority of our dining experience. Not sure if it was server's fault or if she was just over worked. Took forever to get half our water and chips-n-salsa, but there was a large table getting ready to leave and server was busy. We had great service for about 30mins, then no service again. Bills were wrong 3 times then gratuity of over 15% was automatically added to our bills. She was busy with another large table of customers. We were a table of 4 on two separate checks. The extremely long time waiting for our correct bills was very disappointing.

A very nice restaurant. Generally, the food is pretty good too. Not authentic Mexican food though. I’d suggest this place to chill and have a decent meal with friends.

I ordered the burrito beef it was easy and seasoned well. The food was awesome hot and fresh. The atmosphere is cool and authentic the salsa is amazing with the chips.really nice staff and services.

Food was delicious. Our server was super attentive and friendly. The drink menu is awesome! I would definitely recommend.

Food is not authentic Mexican but it’s good! They have a vegetarian soup on the menu, which was very good.

Used to be better. The food was ok and nice service, however, they can improve cleanness. Prices call for better food and environment.

Le service était bien, mais la nourriture ne l'était pas. J'ai commandé les ailes de poulet et elles étaient évidemment congelées depuis longtemps (un manque total de goût). Les frites n'étaient pas terribles mais rien de spécial non plus. Le plat est venu avec deux sauces, une épicée et une autre sucrée. La sauce épicée était correct je suppose, mais celle qui était sucrée l'était beaucoup trop (c'était presque comme si c'était juste du sirop de maïs). C'était si mauvais qu'un de mes amis a recraché ce qu'il a mangé avec la sauce.
Bref, ce fût un des pires repas que j'ai mangé dans un restaurant. Apparemment pas toute la nourriture est aussi mauvaise que ce que j'ai mangé mais quand même. Si vous venez ici NE COMMANDEZ PAS LES AILES DE POULET.

We went there for lunch and we really enjoyed our time there.
We got Tacos de camarones gigantes and Carne Asada and both of them were perfect!
We also got fries with them and the fries were really good!
Polite and friendly staff!

Le personnel est très agréable et le service tres bon Sur place. Par contre, je déconseille en takeout ou en livraison. Jai commander leur quesadilla et je me suis retrouver avec quelque chose de frit. Jetais decu d'arriver a Mon lieu de travail et de decouvrir que Mon repas trempait Dans son jus.

Love this place! Fajitas were delicious! Unlimited chips and salsa while waiting for your food.salsa is amazing! Guacamole appetizer was fresh and tasted great. This restaurant use to be so packed that there was not much room between tables.but it's Nicely spread out now due to Covid. We sat on terrace which is actually on St. Catherine street. It looked fun from a distance, but a little scary when you're sitting right there next to speeding cars with loud motors and "cutting in and out around double parked Uber drivers. Next time, I will ask for seating area in open window sectioninside has more of a Mexican ambiance anyway!

This place has nice food but the employees over there are very rude to some customers. I went there with my friends and we felt racism with us. They don't know how to behave with customers. We understand they were busy but there is a way to say about that situation. They don't value customers at all.

Food was great, service was excellent. We tried pollo flautas, alitas, and chicken tacos. Didn't give 5 stars because the mojitos we ordered were wayyyyy too sweet.

Friendly staff, held up Covid-19 rules, and Virgin drinks were larger than expected. Despite being busy, we got our tables served very quickly. Taco chips and salsa was good.

BETTER than expected traditional Mexican food from a franchise restaurant. Drinks were ok, the Pina colada is the most liked/ordered drink here.
Chips and salsa are complimentary.
Food was good, served hot and dressed well.
The guacamole was really good as well.
The only difficult part was because we were a group of 7, we had to wait an hour to get seated, as they did not have tables available to sit 7 people outside or inside for that matter.

Exceptional Mexican Food with great ambience. Service was a bit slow. The best salsa i have ever tried if you are in Montréal, must visit this place

Food and drinks were amazing. My only critique was that my server seemed overwhelmed, as it took quite long to get our drinks at our table and I saw them ready at the bar for at least 10 minutes. Another table for 2 (like my table) arrived several minutes after and got their drinks and food before we did. They had another server.

Giving just a star cz cant get any lower like their manager do. I do not get this how is the manager on this busy star is still working with the attitude he has

Awwwful experience. Food arrived like 40 min after ordering. My friend waited for hour can’t say more. Its just overrated nothing special here.

This is our second time visiting this restaurant. The first time was the other location. Really impressed yet again! The taste was amazing, the portions were great and the service was excellent! A must visit when one visits Montreal.

Would like to give zero star but didn't have the option. Wait for your order two hrs and you will get the wrong order. Spare three to four hrs to eat

Though they were extra busy, the staff was super kind, the food was amazing and the ambiance was great. Some restaurants fail under high pressure but this one thrives.

Great Mexican/Carribean food, nice staff, very tropical atmosphere considering it's 9 degrees fahrenheit outside! Get a piña colada, it's a must have.

It's a fun place to take my girls and family to have a nice meal, margaritas, and listen to some good music! The price is reasonable, and the atmosphere is pleasant.

I used to go to this place but today I was there and the service was horrible and I ask for a limonade and the brought weather with sugar and also in my food the carrots were so old, at the end I payed my bill and I didn’t want to add tips and the waitres ask me for the tips, it is not and obligation for the customer but he told me that I have to give tips. I’m not going to come back.

Superbe endroit pour faire la fiesta. Mais aussi petit dîner ou souper en famille j'ai eu un service hors pair même s'il y avait des gens à la tonne. J'ai adoré! Et je recommande.

This place is fun and the drinks are great.but.the food is awful. We were a group of 10 people, about half of the food was overcooked.

The reason I'm still giving 4 stars is the service. Our waitress was really wonderful, incredibly attentive, and helpful.

Overall, we all had a good time, but the good definitely wasn't a highlight.

Great food and ambiance. It's our go to Mexican restaurant. I love their margaritas and the soft tacos are amazing. Weekend nights are pretty busy, call to reserve your table if you don't want to wait in line.

Dietary restrictions were not respected, when I politely informed the server that I cannot eat dairy due to an intolerance and requested no cheese on the food, the server told me "just don't eat it". I told him before we ordered but I guess he didn't feel like telling the kitchen. Had to scrape the melted cheese off my food to eat it and avoid a reaction. Sour cream was still served on my plate as well.

I love this place! I’ve been there so many times! The staff is really good! The food taste is excellent. The environment is so happy and great for your birthday parties!

It was a busy night when I visited so that contributed to the slow service but even the food and drinks were at best mediocre. Mexican food shouldn't taste so bland.

Good price and love the nachos they serve there while you wait for your food you can ask more if you to eat more.u shud try the Sunday tacos for 69cent

Great aura, free nachos and with a side of salsa (which was really good by the way), delicious tacos, and excellent service! Our waiter was very charismatic which added to the overall experience. This was my first time at 3 Amigos and it won't be my last.

Très bruyant, bouffe plus qu'ordinaire et prix des consommation démesurée. Mauvais service pour un groupe de 10. Réservation effectuée mais on nous demande d'attendre 30 min au sous-sol.

The decoration is really nice, the margaritas are amazing, (it's a Pitty that they Still use a Lot of straws) I recommend the "jalapeños rellenos" comes with 4 tasty dips. The beans with cheese are delicious with rice. Not the same luck with the "mole" not recommended.

Avoid this place, espicilly the branch in saint Catherine, the worst one is the manager, a horrible person with a fake smile, we were waiting for more than 45 minutes just that a waitress come to take our order. The manager keep was passing beside us looking at us nonsense! As we are just hanging around. My daughter was so frustrated and became crunchy at the end. The most rediculous part was when we complained about the service he started saying your daughter was jumping in the restaurent! If you are going there don’t expect any kind of respect from the manager.

Today is the holiday Thanksgiving and I went to this restaurant with my friends for lunch. The food was okay but the waiter who served us was terrible. There were 6 of us but he brought us only 1 cup of tortillas for starter while the table next to us had 2 people and he asked them if they want more tortillas and he brought them more. Next, he came back to them very often to ask if everything is okay as the way waiters always do but he didn't ask us, not a single time, just ignored us. Next, when my friend asked him for hot sauce, he brought us a bottle of Tabasco which is almost EMPTY, Without a Cap and the top was so dirty and messy. At the end when he handed me the credit card terminal machine, I didn't see the option for tips, I even thought that I pressed too fast and I missed that option, but when we get out of the restaurant, we checked the receipts, that waiter added 15% tips without our consent before he handed us the machine. I was so pissed. I went to 3 Amigos many times but this is the worst service I've ever experienced. I observed the way this waiter served us comparing to the other 2 tables next to us. It is really disgusting.

There are very nice place to eat out with friends and family. Epecially at birthday they do their best to please the customers and their food is good. I come for the burritos chicken or lamb.
