STAY AWAY FROM NADIA!
When you pay for a service, to be honest, a great service is expected for the rates that she charges, because that’s what you are paying for, for someone to do the job that you can’t do yourself, because your expertise is not in accounting!
My distrust in her was what made me notice several mistakes when applying different taxes to my sales, mistakes in numbers, personal information, a lot of detail mistakes, that shouldn’t be happening. I wouldn't recommend her, I actually think it is better if you stay away from Nadia.

It's with a sense of disappointment that I write this review. My intention is not to castigate, but rather to provide an honest account of my experience with this accounting firm, so others might make a more informed choice.

Following the tax season, I found myself entangled in a myriad of issues, which were due to what I believe were lapses in the firm's service. Months later, I'm still addressing the fallout.

One of my main concerns was the firm's fee structure. The charges were substantial for a service that was on par with the experience one might get from basic tax software such as TurboTax. The expert guidance and sophistication I anticipated from a certified accountant were not provided.

Furthermore, the firm's inability to adhere to promised deadlines was a source of constant frustration. Promised tasks were repeatedly delayed, an issue that could have been avoided with better time management.

What's more concerning is that, had I not sought a second opinion from another accountant, I would have missed out on thousands of dollars in federal tax refunds. This lack of thoroughness has potential financial implications for clients.

Given these experiences, it's difficult for me to endorse this firm. They would need to reassess their fees, improve their technical tax knowledge, and work on their punctuality to enhance their service quality. I urge potential clients to consider these factors and perhaps explore other service providers before making a decision.

I consulted with Nadia three times over the phone over the last couple of years and always had a good experience, I'm a satisfied customer.

The 1 star reviews are the legit reviews. The 5 star reviews are her friends or family, who she sends here to boost her rating. Nadia is inept, and unqualified as well as highly over priced. Whoever reads this, just know that you would be fired, or your business would be bankrupt, if you performed your duties with the same standards as 514 Accounting. In fact, I'm willing to bet that all of her clients have a legitimate case for a gross negligence lawsuit. She is really that bad.consider waitressing, hunny.

Worst possible place to have your taxes done. Rude.condesending and reverses figures.

Terrible experience, had to have all our taxes re-done, she gets incredibly defensive and argumentative when you ask too many questions.

This is the 4th year that me and my husband have worked with 514 Accounting inc and every year we are really happy with the results. Communication is a key to this process and Nadia has always been there to answer us and help us with our taxes, I strongly recommend her services!

Nadia provided a service that could be at best considered gross negligence to such an extent, that after filing my taxes with her, I had to redo most of the work as it was riddled with mistakes and file an amendment to Revenu Quebec. Fortunately, Nadia agreed to send a reimbursement for my troubles. Unfortunately, it's been well over two months since our agreement and after multiple missed committed deadlines without even sending the original receipt yet, I don't see an end in sight.

Overall, it's been a very poor experience.

Nadia is professional, efficient, and a delight to do business with. I have trusted her for many years now and I am always thrilled with her quick turn around and thorough work!

Although, I show you we did not talk on phone, therefore didn’t owe you money. My message was asking you kindly to reimbursed the overcharge bill. I had a very bad experience with Nadia for a simple tax filing. She was very rude, late in her work, and condescending when I asked questions about the service. She thinks everyone should know everything about taxes and therefore doesn't have any patience for questions.
I paid too much for nothing, and would never go back to this office again. I actually ended up going to another accountant even after paying for Nadia's services. With the new accountant, I paid 5x less and the service was 10x better.
