A/Maze: Escape Game Plateau

We did the secret order and it was awesome, really tough! But Gwen was awesome for the story telling and really great hints when we got stuck.

Secret order was amazing and Gwen was really helpful all the time. The experience is recommended for more than 4 people but it is possible to finish it with only 2.

Our facilitator is brand new to Canada, and she did an amazing job explaining the story of the room. All of the staff was high spirits and extremely helpful. Also a very funny group of people working here, can't wait to come back!

La Salle d'Évasion Sous-marine est une expérience palpitante et immersive! L'attention portée aux détails de la mise en scène est stupéfiante, vous donnant l'impression d'être dans un véritable sous-marin. Les énigmes sont variées, captivantes et astucieuses, nécessitant travail d'équipe et résolution de problèmes. Le scénario bien élaboré ajoute à l'excitation, ce qui en fait une activité parfaite pour une soirée amusante. Hautement recommandé!

Visited this place on three separate occasions. The staff were super friendly and funny and the place is really charming. The escape rooms (for our group of people) were a little on the easy side. We managed to escape each room with ample amounts of time left. A great place for someone new to escape games and families.

My group and I had a really fun time thanks to Alexi, Émilie and Vanessa, great hosts and super welcoming. The games were super well made, I highly recommend!

First escape room I've done in years and the first one in Montreal - really like how this place is run. I did not reserve and walked in, the staff was very accommodating even with my friends arriving a bit late. They really want you to enjoy your experience here, we were so close to finishing our game when we ran out of time so they allowed us to finish instead of leaving us hanging. Plan to check out the other locations also.

Came here for a work event and had an absolute blast! First time doing an escape room, can't wait to try the other ones they have to offer!

I had an AMAZing experience! I played with my family the psychiatric asylum, and I would like to thank Tracy for her enthusiastic and kind investment in the game! She helped make everything clear, and made us feel in the mood to play and have fun. Would recommend 10/10!

La squad des brain a encore frappé? Ils ont eu la chance de nous accueillir (tres intelligent, beau, majeur et celib) pour nous voir thrionfer. Un peu facile comme d'hab, personnel très accueillant et serviable. C'était parfait quelques énigmes pas très logique et un petit quack sur une mission mais sinon c'était vraiment parfait. Si vous êtes un peu medium ça devrait vous suffir pour être challenger (100 iq)

Thank you Tracy and Vanessa for making my boyfriend and I's A/Maze experiences so awesome! Their enthusiasm during the explanations only added to the excitement. We played the submarine game which was very tactile based and more logic than abstract thinking, which worked well for us!

Have been to the Amaze escape room several times before, usually always a fun time. However, the last time I went to the one on the Plateau there were a whole bunch of bugs, doors would unlock on their own, the staff had to come in several times to fix the bugs/reset the clock. Also, they charged the full amount without deducting the deposit amount I had already paid (I only realized after paying). Called them several times for a reimbursement and never received any call backs.

Got to do the psychiatric asylum escape game. Dean was our "guide" and did a great job with the storytelling and support throughout the game. Wouls absolutely go again.

Not much to say, A/Maze is the best at what they do. I've been to quite a few of their locations and it is quite impressive how they can create new challenges for each scenario. This location was no different. My group did 2 of their scenarios, many of the players were new to Escape Rooms and by the end everyone was a convert as we all had a blast!

Super équipe et super expérience! Énigmes très variées! On a fait l'énigme de l'asile on a eu bcp de fun même si on pas réussi à finir dans les temps (merci à l'animateur de nous avoir laissé un extra de temps).

Asile Psychiatrique: bonne diversité d’énigmes, univers bien travaillé, difficulté OK, seul bémol; le game master qui ne suit pas l’avancée du jeu. L’expérience s’en voit réellement entachée

Brigitte and Alexis were amazing game masters! Super kind, knowledgeable and really funny too! Amazing experience, all three games are fun and unique in their own ways. Definitely recommend adding A/Maze Plateau to your itinerary when visiting Montreal!

We did the Secret Order escape room here. It was very well put together and the clues were just hard enough to make it fun, but not so hard that it was frustrating. We got stuck at the LAST clue and nothing was working out. It took a long time for someone to come help us and they had to bring in a "map" to check where we went wrong. Obviously by the time it was all said and done (took about 5 or 6 minutes from the time we asked for help to the time the person helping figured it out themselves) our time had run out, so that was incredibly disappointing. There should be a better system in place to help with clues.

Alexis and Brigitte were so kind and were wonderful game masters, super funny. The games were super cool and original, loved them <3

This room was a good challenge, but we enjoyed it a lot. After playing so many games, the themes start to feel the same, but this place gave us an experience that felt unique in terms of puzzles and understanding the story.

Moi et mes amis avont faut une vingtaine d'escape game. Ce fût notre pire experience. Nous avons fait l'asile et le sous-marin. Pour l'asile on est separé dans 2 pieces differentes et alors que tu arrive pas a sortir de la piece, lautre equipe peut avancer comme bon leur semble dans lautre piece. Donc quand tu reussi a sortir, cest tres difficile de suivre et de comprendre où on en est rendu. Le sousmarin etait excessivement facile. Nousl'avons fini en 40minutes et avons ete coincé avec deux bug de materiel.donc on aurait pu finir en 30minutes. En plus a chaque fois quon demande un indice, on doit expliquer où on est rendu car personne ne nous suit. Nous n'avons vraiment pas aimer notre experience.

The game master was super fun, it really made me enjoy Asylum a ton! From my experiences at A/maze, this game master (i think her name was Aglae?), was one of the best i have ever had. 10/10

Dean and Bridget were great hosts! Went with some colleagues for some team building and it was great. Very fun!

Superbe belle expérience au A/Maze du Plateau: D animé par la maître du jeu (Game master) Marie-Noëlle, on a vraiment eu du fun a entrer dans l'univers de l'asile psychiatrique.mission de sauvetage réussie et avec beaucoup de plaisir. Un jeu très bien fait avec une variété d'énigmes et défis. Bref, je recommande:)

I'm updating my original review. At first I gave a low rating regarding some riddles that were not working or poorly designed in the submarine room. The administration contacted me to get my input on my experience. Following this call and to my surprise, they took on my advice and made actual modifications. I'm an experienced player and it was very nice to know that my opinion was heard and changes were made accordingly.

Did the submarine. My now favorite room I've ever done. Highly recommend it. We were 4 people with experience in escape rooms, finished the room with 6 minutes to spare.

Was thrilled to find out they had opened an A/Maze so close to home. The scenario we did was very interactive and had fun physical elements.
