Fixed my ps5 in about rlly short amount of time the only bad thing is he only takes cash wich is the only bad point but otherwise he does a very good job and has good prices

I was told it would take 1-2 days to come up with an estimate for an overheating Switch. I had to call a week later to have an update and was told they didn't have the time to check. Took 3 weeks and I had to insist to finally pay 60$ and the issue wasn't event solved. I was scammed, hopefully reading this you'll find a place that values quality and customer satisfaction.

My Xbox series S broke down on me and I was determined to get it repaired. I was very fortunate to find this place recommended by Google. I took my console in and a week later it was ready with a brand new hard drive making it much more durable for many years to come. I'm grateful to the workers and reasonable price I was charged. I had issues with my Playstation 5 it’s took a little while “you know how it is sometimes to get part for these … it can be long” but he did a excellent work on my console, it’s affordable he is not trying to rip you off like other company would, he gave my console a second life you made a happy customer! I recommend to go there if you have issues with your console, laptop, pc he is your guy and check out the stock of retro game and all retro console to recent game that he got, i felt like a child. You sir made my day

Went to get my xbox series x fixed. My HDMI was broken and they repaired it. Job well done.

Had some trouble with my ps5 sometimes it would work other time it would turn on but no image went there so i could fix it he told me it would take a week to know what was the problem and if it could be repaired and another to fix but IT TOOK A MONTH AND SEVERAL CALLS from me (made me feel like i was disturbing him everytime) for him to tell me it wasn’t Repairable cuz the mother board wasn’t good and when i got my ps5 back IT WOULDNT EVEN OPEN! And I confronted him about it and he told me i like told you my tech said your mother board wasn’t good I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO TELL YOU! Wouldn’t recommend seriously

I came to ask about my 3ds because it had an issue he IMMEDIATELY identified the problem and gave me a rough price, said he would look into it and shoot me a text later this week, I also bought a copy of alpha sapphire for the 3ds, the guy is extremely nice, he knows what he is talking about and HAD SUPPER GOOD prices. We had a good chat about video games and then I thanked him left him my number and left:) 10/10

My ps5 hdmi port was broken, and he fixed jt fast and with a really good price compared to the other places.

Highly recommend A to Z Electronics. I had a hard time finding someone local in the states to replace a HDMI port in my Xbox Series X. I took a trip to Montreal for a different reason and brought the xbox with me. I showed up at A to Z unannounced and Joel accepted the job. Within 24 hrs he calls and says its all done. 6 hrs of play time on it so far and everything is working perfect. Highly recommend doing business here.

Took an hour of transport from Montreal and he fixed my issue in seconds. Worth the time 100%

I went in to buy a couple of retro games for a portable system. Joel, the owner, was helpful. I can tell he is passionate about retro games and enjoys what he does. I will come back at some point to see what new games he has. I wish there were more places like this around Montreal.

First of all, I asked to clean out my ps4’s fan and the guy gave me a piece of paper that said it would take one to two day, spoiler alert it took twelve days. Second of all the place was scetchy and was a dump there was so much junk I had basically no place to stand up.

A pleasure doing business with, very informative step by step explanation through the process/ repair. Had a vast selection of games for every console you can think of, great price for the repair and selection of the games.

Had to get my ps4 fixed. I had to go back in total 4 times, because "it was fixed". When I asked him to try it in front of me, it wouldn't work.made me lose a lot of time to not even get it fixed.

First visit was in October of 2020, I had asked after the sale that day if he could contact me if/when he received a copy of a game that I was in the market for. 2 days ago I received the phone call, I was not forgotten. I showed up today to pick it up (and 2 other games because I couldn't help myself, lol), and the experience was just as good as the last visit. Very nice guy, very down to earth, he's definitely on the customer's side and not thinking of just lining his pocket. Recommended for sure.

Il insinue avoir le meilleur prix en ville, lorsque je lui montre des prix avantageux sur le site ebay (qui livre directement chez moi), il nie et fait du tord à la concurrence en disant que c'est probablement des escrocs avec que lui même en est un! D'ailleurs, il accepte les paiements contre des cartes de d'autres enseignes, cela veut dire qu'il ne paye pas de taxe au gouvernement.je me demande ce que le fisc penserait de cela ;) lorsqu'on paye, aucune facture et il met l'argent directement dans ses poches.très louche.

I have bought all my video game's and video game accessories from Joel for years. And he has always came through for me, I've been coming to A to z electronics since I was a kid. Joel has always been kind and treated me well, and would go out of his way to help me secure whatever i wanted. He just got me a hard to get pre order.i have bought mostly all my consoles and games from him on launch.and im very thankful. Do yourself a favor and visit his store, the service will not disappoint. If its video game related Joel is your man.

Really unprofessional, took more time than have been told and didn't fix my laptop even made it more worse.

I don’t know where to start since he did fix one of my PlayStations. Other than the fact that he fixed one of my ps4s, I have nothing but bad things to say about this business.

His store is very disorganized and messy. I had to remind his countlessly that he has my PlayStation and he gave me the same excuse!
“Sorry I need to find it in my store”

I confronted him and even in his own store he wouldn’t take time to look for it. I get it sometimes people get busy but taking 15 mins to look for a clients technology would’ve been appreciated. If this store was more organized and professional, I truly wouldn’t be writing this review.

I will never go back there again and I wouldn’t recommend this store to anybody.

Was made to wait over an hour in the sun while the owner returned from lunch. He was 40 minutes late coming back, apparently due to “the bus”. He then didn’t have the component I needed. This is after I called, asked if he had the component I needed, and was told to just drop by the store. No hard feelings, but I can’t in good faith recommend this place to anyone who values their time.

Fair trades and pricing, quick and friendly service, great selection of games and electronics. Great pricing on brand new games (Switch, PS4, XB1), and Joel is willing to track stuff down for customers on request and do his utmost best to find items.

Totally satisfied with this repair shop and price cannot be beaten. My computer is a tower about 9 years old and is now like a new one. Thank you, Joel. Too bad there are not more good and honest businesses like yours around.

I totally agree with Christine Suarez's review. This place is a no go area. The guy is a crook. He sold me a fake charger knowing very well that it will not work. I went back to return the charger. He refused to give a proper charger or return money. As I ask him to check his own charger, he refused and become violent. As I didn't want to make a scene with him, I called the police. He made it clear to me that I was waisting my time calling the police on him. He said he will show me how he deals with customers like me. To show that this is his modus operandi. It was not his first time. This is how he's been treating innocent people who go to his shop. Indeed, when the police came, they told me clearly that there is nothing they can do. I can open a court case against him or report him to the consumer protection. They advised me to tell my family, friends and acquaintances to avoid the place. You are warned. Cover your back. Get honest people assist you with your repairs!

Fast and trustworthy. No other place can do such good work to your electronics at such a fair price.

I have dealt with the owner multiples times, and for a couple years now. He always gave me fair trade, good deals, great tips, freebies, Information on Retro Gaming, cares about you and how you are doing and accommodates you to the best of his ability each time.

Years ago had him fix my Xbox 360 and he gave me 3 different ones that all randomly broke. I do appreciate that he gave me more consoles as the ones before stopped functioning.

Brought in a laptop to fix my cpu, broke my laptop completly. Gave me a desktop that had worse specs than my laptop and barely functioned.

Neat old school consoles and some obscure games if you're looking for that.

Be aware of your expectations, and you should be okay.

One of the few places comfortable fixing older gaming consoles. True to his word, if he can't fix it after a few days, he'll offer to exchange you a working identical console, and no service fees for the time he spent.

My old SNES started rejecting every game except Super Mario, but had sentimental value since it was a gift. I opted to keep my console, but he offered to sell me a refurbished SNES at a good price. It was in great condition and is still working great 5 years later (I think it was in 2013?).

Recommended this place to my friend when her Wii had a problem. Was fixed, and still works fine 3 years down the road.

I went for a simple ps4 repair, which suppose to take few hours, ends up being there for almost 2 weeks, console lasted me 3 days and same problem again ; just by his looks it’s showed he’s didn’t know what his doing; as I walked in I saw him browsing on a dating website; The place is messy dirty and smell bad not just that I also saw a rat as soon as I walked in next to all broken tv, my console is not repaired and I paid, I’m never going back to this place and I recommend not waste your time either. Hes a loss.
