Aces Barber Shop (DDO)

My go-to barber shop for the last 3-4 years. Today, I missed my morning appointment. When the lady called, I explained that I forgot to notify them due to my wife going in labor. Her reply was: We couldn't take someone else because we were expecting you so please make sure you let us know next time. I was quite shocked by the insensitive response. The staff is usually friendly so not sure if it's because she didn't hear my explanation.

I went to aces a few times and all those times I’ve never fully liked the haircuts. Up until this time you would think he did 2 separate haircuts on each side of how mediocre it was.

Great service. Great barbers. I've had my hair cut by Sangir, Sam and another gentleman who's name escapes me. They are all great and professional. The prices are low. At the end of a haircut each customer gets to draw one card from a deck and if it's an ace the haircut is free! I've personally witnessed someone get the ace. Even if you don't win it's a fun idea. 10/10

This place is the worst my 1st and it’s my last time! Brought my son for a fade and trim! There was no fade and he cut to high the e and the other side wasn’t even the same … not to
Mention when I was explaining it to him he telling me he doesn’t see the problem! And they charged me 40$ do not go there

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is awful.
I go here for emergency purposes only and each time I hope it’s going to be better than the last.and it isn’t.

I was charged 20$ for a 5 minute cut. The guy took a clipper to the top part of my hair only. No lineup, no fade, no nothing.

The guy said we have to charge that no matter what. Customer service and understanding no -existant…. DONT GO

My first time, and last time.
The owner just stole me with 20$.
I didn’t ask for a haircut, I asked from the barber to do beard with blade and cut the edges of my hair, just because he used the scissors 3 times to cut the edges, he charged me with 20$ for a haircut.
So it costs in total 45$.
Plus, they do cash ONLY.

Second time at ACES, Sam cut my hair and trimmed my beard like a champ.very friendly and respectful.highly recommend checking it out.very reasonably priced too

Sam is excellent. Very experienced and skilled. The prices are also very reasonable. Highly recommend!

They don't know how to do haircuts. They only know how to use scissors and clippers. I look like a mushroom.
I felt like they wanted me out of there quickly.

I’ve been going to aces for 3 years now and never had a negative experience until today, that’s why i even gave it a 3 stars instead of a 1, i asked for a fade and blended in with the top, from the moment i walked in i felt judged and basically ignored i was only asked if i had an appointment or not, then they asked me what i wanted and i explained it very clearly. I understand people may be having bad days but don’t take that out on my hair.this is the worst haircut i’ve ever gotten from this place i’m always satisfied but this time i’ve never been more unhappy. I need to go somewhere else to fix it now.
