Standard Allô mon Coco fare. The mashed and fried potatoes are their thing. Lots of booth seating. Modern airy layout.

They need to guide their employees, the lack of empathy and charisma is notorious, starting with the Hostess who does not receive you even saying a good morning, continuing with their staff, they need to learn their menu, since I asked for a dish and the girl said What if there was later my waitress arrived, I asked for the dish and she told me “this one is not available” I asked her for a recommendation and she didn't give it to me she just said “I'll be back when they are ready” her name is gloria, when taking the order she was despotic and he yelled at us in a terrible way, honestly at that moment we wanted to leave, I am not going to return to this restaurant because of the lack of professionalism of its staff because they make this experience not pleasant and the food is very delicious.

Stephan was great- he put up with us two days in a row, once for late lunch and again for brunch the next morning. They make these smashed potatoes with caramelized onions and bacon and cheese and they are to die for. The best thing I ate there though was the grilled cheese with portobello, Brie, balsamic, spinach, and I'm not even sure what else but it was heaven. We ordered full bottle mimosas both times and it was a solid move.

Excellant service et très bonne qualité de nourriture, portion de fruit généreuse. Salle de bain propre. Merci à la gérante qui m'a servis.

This is really cool brunch place! The decor and atmosphere were great. The food was good too, however I wouldn't recommend getting the crepes. They were more like pancakes.

We ordered a "Allo! Mon Coco special" which was great. It was more than enough for me. There were one slice of melon and a trench of grapefruit, a 2-spoon baked bean, a crepe with banana trencha inside, 2 slices of bacon. You can choose between different type of fries (2 options) and (two loaf of) breads (3 options). We were three and ordered 3 dishes and they were more than enough. Thanks Allo Mon Coco for making this great time.

It’s a nice diner with food that tastes very good has a very nice menu with alot of healthy and dessert like items

Brunch du dimanche matin, service ridiculement rapide! Tout était super propre et bon. Mention speciale a notre serveur au cheveux gris et à la couette plus foncé pour son service impecable.

Je vais souvent manger dans des succursales "Allô mon coco" et je suis toujours satisfaite. Mercredi passé, je commande des oeufs bénédictine.

Lorsque j'ai tenté de coupé un morceau, j'ai remarqué que le muffin anglais était très, mais très dur. Je l'ai donc regardé attentivement pour constater qu'il avait été pressé (dans un presse-panini? !).

Je suis une fervente amatrice de brunch et particulièrement d'oeufs bénédictine (j'ai à peu près testé tous les restos à déjeuner de Montréal), et je n'ai JA-MAIS vu de muffins anglais "pressés" dans des oeufs bénédictine.

Lorsque je l'ai gentiment signalé à la serveuse, elle m'a envoyé sa gérante super bête qui m'a quasiment envoyé ch*er en me répondant que: "Chez Allô mon coco McGill, c'est toujours comme ça qu'on fait les oeufs bénédictines".

Elle ne me suggère aucune solution (au pire, elle aurait pu me proposer de me remplacer le muffin anglais coupé en deux, ça coûte quoi même pas 1$?), je demande donc un remboursement partiel, car j'avais déjà prépayé (j'étais pressée ce jour-là). Elle s'est éventuellement calmée (probablement après m'avoir vu filmer mon assiette) et m'a remboursée une petite parcelle du repas.

Voyez par vous même la fraîcheur de ce muffin anglais "pressé", dur comme de la roche et pas mangeable.

Heureusement, la serveuse était courtoise et polie et compatissante.
Je ne peux malheureusement pas en dire autant de la fille à l'accueil, zéro sourire. (You have one job: accueillir les gens de façon sympathique!).

***Aussi, prenez note que partout sur les photos de leur menu actuel, les patates qu'on voit sont "carré" style patates déjeuner, mais qu'ils n'en ont pas de disponibles en succursale, ils ont juste leurs patates pilées!? (Fausse représentation much?)

27 avec pourboire $ pour 2 oeufs, 2 tranches de bacon, de la sauce et un bol de fruits, c'est pas mal cher!

Je n'y retournerai plus jamais.

Dommage, vous avez perdu une méga amatrice de brunch qui est souvent dans le coin!

I got this French toast breakfast sandwich and a mountain of fruit, a great treat! That cream was also to die for!

Absolutely killed the breakfast. Everything was perfect. Poor girls were understaffed and it took a while but the food was worth the wait

Very disappointed, first we were push to order fast, we ask for a take out and we had to wait to be served a little long but they weren’t many people in the restaurant. The worst experience is when she arrived at the counter ask strongly if we know what to order! Then I order my meal with a simple question but she replied very agitated dry and aggressively: “ITS IN THE MENU “ … I said to myself WHAT’S THIS BAD ATTITUDE? !? I MEAN WE DIDNT DO ANYTHING WRONG WE ARE POLITE CUSTOMERS and yet we are answered sadly very aggressively and its not unacceptable at all … maybe we weren’t fast enough for her to order our meal and maybe by she don’t like her job ….
…I won’t go there anymore to spend my money

Wanted takeout but the Phone lines aren’t working and then I waited ten minutes at the front for a waiter to take my order while the place wasn’t even busy. Literally made solid eye contact multiple times with waiters and they just ignored me. I left without even having my order taken.

With a full confidence, I can say that you will not stay hungry.

This is a cool place for a delicious breakfast in which salty and sweet are easily considered. The main breakfast base is eggs, bacon, potatoes. This goes with a pancakes, crepe, or fruit by your choice.
Big portions, clean place, friendly team.

Busy place in a Saturday morning. The lineups often went out the door. Service was soso with the staff too busy to be attentive or bring coffee refills. Food was good

They don't even refill the coffee even one time, or come back to the table even one time after bringing the dish. They don't like the customers.

Had a great brunch here early December '21. Their location is convenient and easy to find. Enough of a variety in the menu without being overwhelming. High quality ingredients and good coffee. The service is top and the restaurant was immaculate.

Terrible greeter at the door, which set the tone for the entire experience. The guy has very long bangs/hair covering entirely his eyes on top of not being friendly at all. He is completely hiding being his hair and the face mask you can't see the person Just WOW! Very unwelcoming. Manager did not care about our comment either claiming that she respects her staffs' personal style. Next time you will find hair in your food because a hair net cramps her cooks' personal style? No thanks.

La qualité du déjeuner était correcte quoi que tout était un peu trop cuit, le service par contre laissait à désirer, le serveur ayant fait une erreur en me chargeant 5$ de trop sur ma facture et essayant de justifier que c'était le bon prix à sa caisse quand le menu disait le contraire.

Nourriture bonne au goût (heure du dîner) par contre service un peu lent, oublié le dessert, oublié un verre d'eau, remplissage de café après demande seulement, café chargé alors qu'il était inclus.

Whether a weekday breakfast, a lazy weekend brunch, or a hangover recovery - you’ll find what you need in the reasonably priced, tasty and very filling menu. Loved the decor and diner style. Service is surprisingly Fast (and not at all Furious), and always friendly. Love it and already looking forward to returning.
PS and non-standard modern pleasant-to-hold payment machines are a beautiful touch!

Food is great, ambience is nice, but unwelcoming staff don't make it a good experience. Maybe because it was the beginning of their shift or they all heard some bad news.

It is nice, but quite pricey. You can get breakfast at other places for a better price. I had waffles and eggs, and it came to $18 tax included. If you add the tip, you're over $20. For breakfast? Way too much.

Très mauvais service. Hôtesse avec une sacrée attitude. Nous avons demandé pourquoi le cafe est payant alors que les autres allô mon coco sont gratuits, nous nous en sommes voulu. Reponse bête venant de sa part avec des regards froids, et un sacré jugement.

La nourriture est vraiment bonne, mais ce faire servire avec une aussi grosse attitude, plus jamais!

My colleagues and I have been going to this Allo Mon Coco since it opened. Every time we've gone, there was a issue with our meal but since it was a new restaurant we decided to give it another chance. This was definitely the last time we go back.

Today, both my colleagues received their food 10 minutes apart. When I received mine, 15 minutes after then, the potatoes were not a I ordered. They took it back to bring me another dish 15 minutes later which was completely wrong (had meat, although I had ordered the vegetarian). I had to wait a third time to get my food. At this point I had 10 minutes to eat before needing to back in the office.

The bills came, my colleagues paid their full amount, although they did not get to eat together. To my surprise my bill came at full cost minus 10% which is unacceptable considering the mistakes made and my whole lunch hour being used up and not getting time to eat.

Horrible service, after multiple attempts to give it a try.
DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Nice and beautiful place! The only difference between this and other AMC is that here they charge you the coffee, but other than that is great.

J'ai pris pour emporter. On ne m'a pas donné d'ustensiles, de confiture pour mes toast et de ketchup pour mes patates trop dures. J'avais aussi demandé du lait pour mon café ce que je n'ai pas eu. De plus, la fille à l'accueil est bête. Bref, mauvais service et bouffe qui ne vaut pas 20$. J'aurais dû aller ailleurs.

By far.and I mean by FAR the best Crab cake eggs benny I've ever had. I've searched far and wide in Montreal and Toronto but have never found any that compare. The other menu items are very good as well with big portions and really fresh fruit.service is top notch

Came to eat here for lunch and I had a fly in my salad. Obviously they don’t wash their salads well. All I got offered is a rebate on my bill.

A beautiful place, ready to accommodate and serve a big group or even a small one. The menu is delicious and is not the typical one, compared to the menus of all the other breakfast chains.

Chicken waffle was great! Way too much food. The restaurant is clean and well lit. Service was fast and on time. Will visit again for sure.

Prices are ok. Food was just ok. Service was ok. For a breakfast place I would've expected better. My over easy eggs were a lil more cooked than they should. I always thought a crape came rolled not folded. But they are not in many menu's at home.

So I came here with a few coworkers after we had gotten good news from work. We had all recieved bonuses and raises which was very exciting. We went here, we had excellent service. On top of that the food was exquisite. The service was fast and the waitress was very nice. We were in and out in almost 30 minutes and we weren't even rushed. I really liked the service and I recommend at least once yoh must try. It is a new restaurant, really looks like one, so it is clean.

Once again I really recommend going here.

We are group of 8 people. At the beginning, they tried to squeeze us in the table for 6, we said no, it was to tight we cannot move our arms and eat comfortably.
We told the server we wanted the bench with 2 separated tables but next to each other since we were 8 and willing to wait for the previous customers to finish their meals. The server agreed. After waiting for 30 minutes, the server ended up giving the tables away for another 2 couples came after us. Their argument was "they cannot put the table together and the manger told them to do so"? !? !? !
Then they gave us the high chair table which we clearly say we wanted the bench. The manager came and asked us "do we have a problem here? " (seriously!) and said "that is the best we can do and that is the best table". Clearly, they don't know to organise a table for a group, and not even putting the effort to find a solution. We left the restaurant not eating there ever again.
If you insist on having breakfast at Allo Mon Coco and if your friends family has 8 people, please save your time and avoid Mcgill (Old Montreal) location.

Friendly, bi-lingual mostly, great food, fast, comfortable yet bright interior.great spot for breakfast. Ordered the Rockyfeller, wife had blueberry with English creme crepes and cappuccinos. Don't forget to order the maple syrup!

Dropped in for breakfast and it was simply one of the best experiences yet for a breakfast dining. Service was A+, environment and decor stellar and the portion size not to be beat.
Parking can be a challenge but right off the Victoria Park sub stop and worth it all.

What a disappointment, filtered coffee not included especially at the price you pay your breakfast. Only in downtown Montreal is this possible.
