Good Breakfast place in West Island. Updated Menu is very nice with great choices. Waitress and bus boy were very nice and pleasure to deal with.

I brought my family for breakfast and we were very happy with the service and the quality of the food. A very welcoming atmosphere. Will come back again!

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The initial service was off-putting as they forgot to provide us with a menu and only offered fries instead of potatoes. The service was lackluster, constantly needing reminders for essentials. Despite this, the food itself was decent. However, the absence of potatoes and the overall subpar service leave much to be desired. There's potential for improvement, but for now, it's not the best choice. I hope they address these issues to offer a better dining experience.

La nourriture était très ordinaire, la serveuse nous a bien servie. Nous avons été très déçu du fait qu'il ne restait plus de patate déjeuner, et nous n'avons pas eu de rabais ou quelquonque compensation. Je ne reviendrais pas.

Beau menu, mais service exécrable! 30 minutes avant être servies, malgré un restaurant à moitié vide et avec beaucoup staff. Sincèrement, toutes les interactions furent déplorables et ce, même si nous étions polies et souriantes. Nous avons quitté après plus de 30 minutes, sans avoir commandé. Le restaurant Petinos fût ravi de nous accueillir avec respect et efficacité. "Allo mon coco" de Dollar-des-Ormeaux plus jamais.

I’ve been to other Allo Mon Coco locations, this location is the worst. We were seated quickly, but we waited almost half an hour but no one came to our table. We had to ask for water and even asked 2 staffs to get our order and still no one came. Clearly people who came in after us were being served first… we just left and went to another location

Grosse assiette, prix moyen, qualité satisfaisant, un peux bruyant, prenez banquette sinon trop tassé.

3 mornings a week they open late! No respect for their customers at all! The mash tho potatoes to a point its baby food and they cant butter toasts its ridiculous

First thing I have to say is our waitress was fantastic we have absolutely no problem with the waitress. We got here at 10: 30 we did not get our food till after 11: 30. There was a big group but that wasn't the problem, the problem was the staff was busier cooking for the takeout orders. I believe that the clients that are coming into the restaurant should have some sort of priority. We waited over an hour for eggs and when we got the food it wasn't even properly done. I ordered bacon well done crispy they brought it back twice not done properly. I will eat my eggs, the fruit was good, but they won't see us again.

So much food that is so good. Crowded at 11am on a weekday during school break week. Food was great and portions were worth the prices.

Ordered from uber and got a moldy croissant and half filled chocolate milks absolutely disgusting just noticed i didnt even get my sausage with my break fast

Ever since the pandemic, this Allô Mon Coco has gotten worse and worse whether you go eat in place, take out or order Uber Eats. I understand they are lacking staffs, yet so is everywhere I companies, restaurants, movie theatres. However, cooks do not read the allergy instructions! Do not order via Uber Eats, expensive for the quantity you are getting for especially the potatoes, come burnt, left overs, and again allergy they don't care. Manager said order next time elsewhere because we are short of staff and busy. So we went back for pick up so at least we can check our containers on the spot waiter was not happy and rude we did that, to find out their traditional potatoes was barely nothing. I showed it to the chef and he even stated that this was not acceptable. It was a beautiful weather and their Terrasse was closed at 12: 30pm because all tables were dirty with their previous plates and dishes. And my final favourite, the waiter who took our order not only was he dry and rude, I was with my significant other, who is from Senegal (black) and he had the audacity to say not ask I suppose 2 bills! Never in 5 have we been asked that ignorant question including high end restaurants! They just don't care about their jobs, sin é these employees are controlling the restaurant since they lack staffs. Owner/manager needs his staffs more than the staffs need him after pandemic and us customers are being treated ungraciously!

Clean and friendly service. Signature cheese on potatoes are great but if you want traditional cubed potatoes, you must ask for it. Hollandaise sauce is a little weak in flavor in comparison to other breakfast places however not warranted a reduction in stars as this might be the signature flavor of the place. Parking can be tight and limited considering the location but that is nothing against the restaurant so no deduction there, just more of an FYI to the readers of this review. Good food, good menu and good times.

Food was great but the waitress we got barely ever came to our table, spilled one of our drinks on the way over, and kept us waiting almost a half hour to take our orders. When she finally did, she stopped mid-sentence to go clean up some plates at another table.
I usually always tip 15% or more, but this was very sub-par service and I was very disappointed, so I didn’t tip. On our way out she came up to us TWICE asking why we didn’t give her a tip.
I love Allo mon Coco, but definitely wouldn’t recommend this particular location

Amazing breakfast/brunch as always. The Avacado Toast was so delicious.perfect balance of taste, texture and presentation. This place isn't cheap but definately worth the price of admission and the service is fast efficient and friendly as always Enjoy.

Food was so good but my god our waitress was grumpy and rude. Not a smile on her face, felt like she was rushing us to get out the entire time. She gave us our receipt while we we’re still eating and going to order more food. All to say, food good, staff bad.

Love this place ; you can hove lots of different choices, with value and quality. The staffs are polite and sense of humour. I always have wonderful experiences here.

Walked in and were seated fairly quickly. Hostess was full of smiles and welcoming. The place was an absolute zoo and the noise volume was deafening. I literally had to scream to he heard by my kid across the table. Not pleasant. Our waiter tended to us quickly enough and asked us for our drink. It went quickly downhill when we were trying to get the waiter's attention. He simply didn't have any time to listen or stay long enough to hear my full request. It was quite frustrating. They got our order wrong twice but I couldn't let the waiter know right away because it was a zoo and he couldn't be bothered. The correct food did arrive eventually but I probably won't be going back when it's so busy as service seriously suffers.

The quality of the food and service is less than before! I am not sure is it because i went at 2 pm or it is been like that since they opened after Corona!

We went on Mother's Day sooo lol. They are short staffed so of course the service was slow. The food was.adequate. Considering the price? Meh. Complimentary mimosas were served but our server didn't ask if we were okay with being served alcohol. We weren't.

The staff is a little young and distracted. Waited very long time for them to take the order and again to get the food. During my entire visit I got 1 cup of coffee. I had to go to the waitress counter to get it myself.

Service was amazing, and remembered us from 3 months ago. Accomodated our allergies very well. Only issue is that I ordered a grilled cheese with the eggs and there was hardly any cheese and too much egg and it didn't taste right. The mashed potatoes were very well done and creative.

Sadly, a very disappointing experience. What started as a fun welcome-home brunch for my son soured as the clock slowly ticked and ticked with our food nowhere to be found.

We sat down at 11: 04, and by the time our food arrived it was 12: 20. SEVENTY-FIVE MINUTES to get our food!

My wife’s smoothie was juice, had to add ice cubes twice to our orange juices as we waited and waited. We are sure the harried waitress forgot to put in our order? How else could two tables after us get served earlier?

The waitress told us twice (at least) that they “. We’re short staffed” as she filled (splashed) water glasses and rushed a half-cup coffee refill. If it was up to me we would have gotten up and left at 40 minutes but my daa asking was hungry. So we waited. Once food arrived, we had lost mood/appetite and ate, but it’s hard to enjoy food when you’re upset. I normally finish off my “Sunshine” but not this time.

Afterwards I complained calmly with the waiter/manager who listened and offered an apology. He went on to explain how they only had one cook and the restaurant can’t seem to find bodies to work.and how he wished he could do more than that but couldn’t.

Not sure what else I expected him to say, I just repeated (too calmly perhaps) how we often eat there but never have to wait like that.perhaps I should have lost my temper but remained respectful as I simply wanted to express our displeasure.

My daughter who works in serving industry as well, tried to be understanding but admitted our waitress was borderline rude and yes, sloppy in her service. Please do something so that this type of disappointing experience doesn’t happen again.

A fun experience, family moment was just an okay memory now.

The most unpleasant brunch time. I've been to many brunch restaurants, but this place is the worst! Because of the unfriendly staff.
And then the food came out later than the table that came later than us, and we waited for almost an hour.

I have had many bad experiences with this restaurant and them messing my order every freaking time I place an order online. Even after clear instructions they somehow manage to mess my order up.
I will ask for certain type of potatoes which is a choice in every application you use to order, still they send me what they want to send me, if I ask certain type of egg they manage to successfully mess that up every time. Most Importantly they ALWAYS, WITHOUT A SKIP SEND ME MEAT WHEN WE HAVE SPECIFIED CLEARLY “NO MEAT AT ALL” in the order.

Its a huge deal because I do NOT want my potatoes of food to taste like red meat. We are egg-eatarians and we DO NOT EAT MEAT!
And not only did they Mess up the order, They also put me on Hold for 20
Minutes and when I tried to call they kept cancelling and not answering my call. It would Ring and they pick and hang up. I called a couple of times after and they kept doing the same

Nice decor, friendly and helpful staff, great menu and food toast, however I find the menu to be very developed and sometimes confusing. Portions are generous and tasty.
Post pandemic service quality and food remained consistent.

Absolutely horrible service.
I came for a birthday brunch, I had my id and vaccine proof (paper version) which was given by the nurse after vaccination as permitted proof and I was told it wasn’t permitted. I was put aside waiting for about 45 minutes and was told with attitude that the government said that the paper version wasn’t valid, which wasn’t true since I searched it up myself and it was never said. The paper has always been permitted. People from other cities such as Ontario and Vancouver have a paper version that is permitted so I don’t understand why get served with such attitude. If I didn’t have a mask or my vaccination I’d understand but it wasn’t the case. Not even an apology.

I would put 0 stars if I could. Did not get served for over an hour and got told "sorry I forgot to put in your order" asked several times for an apple juice we ordered and did not get it until we had asked several times. Avoid this place. There are better restaurants around with better customer service than this.
Update: The manager sorted it out. I have now updated to two stars however this is the worst service I have gotten out of all the breakfast restaurants in the area.

We ordered take out, we called first to make sure take out was an option and it was. However when we went to pick up the staff seemed annoyed with our pick up order which had no special instructions, it was a basic order. The bags were sealed at pick up, when we got home items were missing and egg options were incorrect.

For starters the hostess was rude. Our table was disgusting, during a pandemic you’d think they would try to keep things clean… the women’s bathroom was NASTY. Every single toilet was filled…. Anyways, the waitress brings us water while we look at the menu. My boyfriends glass of water had a giant black hair in it… They do not have any kind of drink menu; I asked the waitress if there was a drink menu and she looked at me confused and thought I wanted alcohol for breakfast (I just wanted to know if they had smoothies and stuff) It’s weird how they don’t think people want things other than coffee in the morning. To top it off my plate of food came 10 minutes before my boyfriends, so I had to awkwardly eat in front of him as he waited. The food tasted dirty, utensils were dirty and the salt/pepper shakers were drenched in maple syrup. Not going back there. Wish I looked at the reviews first before going.

The food is normally great, but do not order takeout. I ordered the wild berries waffle which was supposed to come with English cream and eggs, bacon and potatoes. They only gave me a waffle and a handful of fruits! Nothing else. And charged me for a full meal. Absolutely not worth it

Really amazing service during our last visit. The restaurant was quite full, but we were seated quickly and were given menus, water and had our drink order taken almost immediately. It can be a tough time in a restaurant with two children, but they were busy colouring with the crayons at the table while I looked over the menu. The food was at our table very fast with all our eggs done to exactly the way we wanted. The portions were huge and the sides were all very fresh. Especially the fruit. Great value for the money. Thanks to the staff and our waiter.

Wish I had the opportunity to say something about the food but we stood inside for over 15 mins, no hostess or staff came by to say hi or tell us anything. We walked out. I understand it’s covid but it doesn’t take much to say hello and tell people what’s happening - they seemed to have tons of staff. They had tons of open tables outside but instead make us wait in a tiny entrance packed with people. Very disappointed, will not go back.

First and last time. Service very slow. We were seated, but we asked to change seats to be under the shade we were told not possibile because of Covid, but the table next to us 4 girls got up and went to sit indoors. Why no Covid restrictions there.

Worst customer service ever.my husband just went to pick up breakfast he waited 15 minutes at the door while everyone was talking before they acknowledged his presence.i sent a picture of my order he gave it to the employee and he gave me something completely different thats not even on the menu.a plain grill cheese with processed cheese.when we brought the food home they threw all my husband food on top for sunny side up egs so everything was stick together. And my coffee was favored water.they werent even answering the phones the whole time my husband was there needless to say when i just called not answering either.i would give a zero if i could.they are so disorganized will never go there again.

Breakfast was excellent and the waitress was super nice! The only reason I don’t give five stars is because I asked a waiter for the bill and he was kinda rude, didn’t even say “sure” or anything, just looked at me and walked away. Except for that little detail everything was great!

Same fantastic breakfast, we as a family used to since 2006, from the original place in Laval! Just come and pick it up AND support the place you LOVE! Do it in person, since you may leave your Tips on the spot and not only to delivery guys!

In a nutshell, service lacking and food not that great.

This is my 3rd Allo Coco expérience at 3 different locations. For all three the food was not very good (once it was even terrible) but for the other two, service was excellent.

This time service was lacking. It started with the hostess who gave us English menus even though we greeted her in French. No biggie but it continued with her making a face at me when I asked for a table for 4 even though we were only two. I only asked because it was pretty early (not even 9am) and the restaurant was only 1/4 full.

I thought the service was picking up when he waiter was welcoming and gave us good suggestions. Unfortunately, after he served us our food, he never came back to check on us. He was busy talking to his fellow waiters and other customers.

When he finally came back with the bill and we advised him that there had been a mistake with my husband’s dish, he just shrugged, took my money and left, wishing us a good day.

By the way, worst bacon I ever had. So salty and over-cooked that I didn’t eat it. I can’t believe I paid 13$ plus taxes and tip for 2 eggs, horrible bacon and a small fruit bowl. I’ll never go back.

Not the best Allo Mon Coco that we’ve been to. We came during a pretty quiet day and yet it still took forever to get simple things like water/coffee. Food was good though

Food was great. The service was quick. We went on a Sunday morning and the line was out the door. They still managed to sit our family of 6 pretty quickly.

Delicious food and ridiculously fast service. Our server refilled our coffees extremely quickly and was always ready to help. The food arrived quickly and everyone loved their plate. Make sure you go there extra early for some nice specials!

Said they only take reservations before 9: 30AM.we went for 10AM with a group of 10 and said the wait would be 1 hour but they were starting to seat a reservation for 25.

Great service from our waiter Steve and the food was great and quickness of ordering and receiving our food was excellent. The decor of the restaurant is very nice and clean restaurant.

I went on a sunday afternoon. The service was amazing. The staff were very friendly. The food came really fast. The food was amazing especially the pancakes. The bacon was also perfect. The mango smoothie also was excellent. Prices are a little too expensive but except for that everything was fine. Did not thing there was a good breakfast place in the west island area.

Nice spacious place for the breakfast or the lunch. Urban decorations. Big choice on the menu, so you can choose the meal that corresponds to your desire on that day. Generous portions and tasty food. The staff is friendly. The prices might be little bit less expensive. The servant was a little slow on refreshing the coffee although it was not very crowded.

The place is beautifully made.large space.the staggering table made it difficult to eat.but sugar bags helped me.since they were already under the table.one of the clients came up with a solution to the problem.but not managers.

Food is ok, kind of "food quantity over quality" place, you could seriously feed two people with one plate.
I have the feeling that the legendary potatoes with cheese should be demystified, nice touch but not worth the "omaguuuud you have to try iiiiiit! "

My in laws went there today and got terrible service. The restaurant was busy but had suffisent staff. They waited 40 mins at their table finally got to order their tea. Then asked for honey and waited another 20 mins. They left the restaurant without eating.

Absolutely fantastic breakfast. Service was great and restaurant decor is very cute.

Not only is this place great in terms of service, but the restaurant itself is beautiful and super clean! The potion sizes are huge, a Royal Waffle is enough to feed two people.

Impeccable service, great food. A bit too loud inside, but there's some seats outside available. Very positive experience

Great western omelette was fluffy the eggs were not over cooked and beacon was done just right. They have stayed true and consistant.

Love this restaurant good selection of breakfast. Very popular during weekends, service and food are good. Price wise it's moderate I hope the chain won't downsize in portion. And keep opening different franchise around Quebec

Delicious food and amazing service!

Completely disappointed and regret coming here today. I would have got up and left if not for my kids. So we got here a d got ushered to a seat at the back, since it wasnt busy, I requested to be moved. For some reason, we always end up on the same seat every time we come here, this time I wanted a change. I saw one man passing and requested a change, he said he would have to ask the person in the front which he did. For some reason, they were standing there chit chatting and I was confused. They both turn around, look at me and the man started laughing. I moved to another seat, as I'm sitting, I see her with another lady, she's telling her something all of a sudden, they both turn and look at us. Ridiculous! If I need to go to ALLO mon Coco, I'll drive to another location! The waiter was okay.

Virginia was an amazing server making sure all of our needs were meet and always having a huge smile on her face! Anazing serivce great food!
