Allô! Mon Coco - De Maisonneuve

Bright, spacious, clean restaurant in a convenient location. Extensive menu, there’s something for everyone. Quality and quantity are good for the price.

I usually order their eggs Benedict, but I tried their smoked salmon grilled cheese today. It was very good. The bread was fluffy and nicely toasted, the filling was generous and flavourful. Service was professional and efficient.

EDIT: They changed their menu since my last review. The smoked salmon grilled cheese is gone: (I tried a new dish, grilled veggies casserole, which was very good. The goat cheese and arugula were perfect in it. Only disappointment was that their fruits were not fresh this time. As this was never a problem during my previous visits, I hope it won’t happen again.

For the first time, the mashed potatoes are delicious, but a bit salty for me. Well-behaved brunch, no special or attractive dishes

The waitress only came to ask for our order, serve our order, and refill the coffees! We asked to get us some milks for the coffee and he forgot, but it is okay because they were super busy

Wow, where to begin? Every item on the menu sounded fantastic. They have everything you could want for breakfast, and then things you didn't even know you wanted. I ended up getting eggs Benedict with smoked meat on rye. It came with a huge bowl of fruit and hash browns, and was delicious. The portions were huge. The staff were attentive, I never ran out of coffee or water. The prices were a bit higher than I'd expect for brunch, but it was worth it for the quality of the food and service. I'm looking forward to going again!

Food here was amazing! It was so good I forgot to take a picture. But what I love about Montreal is having wine or alcoholic drink with your breakfast.

Allô! Mon coco is fantastic. I’ve been there a lot of times and I never left deceived. Their benedicts are way too good and my favorites are the salmon, the brie and grilled mushrooms and the fried chicken. They also always give a generous portion of fruits and their orange juice is amazing. A very good place to have a breakfast.

Really nice place for brunch, taste really good for the cheap prices and you get quite big portions!

Update: j'ai pris une commande pour emporter (j'habite à un coin de rue de là). Dégueulasse en tous points. Tout était froid, manquait des articles, leur brioche a canelle était dure et sèche.

Soyez très prudent car la nourriture n'est pas fraîche, apparemment ils sont là depuis longtemps, j'ai eu la mauvaise expérience que le pain avait des champignons, heureusement j'ai pu le remarquer

Food was delicious, fairly fast, and not too expensive. Our waitress was attentive and very warm. Will definitely be back!

Really enjoyed the meals. Portions very large. Order wisely if you are not a big eater. Very clean. Covid protocols and vaccine check.

J'ai pris mon petit-déjeuner du jour dernier ici à Montréal lors de mes vacances. J'ai eu peur au début quand j'ai vu la surface de l'établissement en dehors. Mais l'intérieur du restaurant était tellement agréable. Par ailleurs, il y a beaucoup de choix des repas. Tous les repas ont l'air raisonnable et bien construits. J'ai pris les oeufs bennedicts avec l'avocat et le muffin anglais au-dessus. C'était vraiment bon et la portion n'était pas trop petite ni trop grande. Les serveurs sont également attentifs en remplissant mon café. Dès que je déménagerai à Montréal bientôt, je vais sûrement retrouver ici. Merci beaucoup et continuez les bons travaux!

Great place to have a heavy English breakfast. Tasty food with a huge portion sizes.

This is the first time I went to this restaurant. The lady who served me gave me very good service. Also when I was leaving, the lady at the door said thank you, which is rare. Great customer service.

This is hands down the best place for brunch in Montreal. A bit costly but totally worth it as the portions are gigantic, love that they serve some stuff in a literal pan! Love it love it love it!

My favourite brunch place hands down! ALWAYS get their potatoes they’re amazing! And go early for the cheaper menu!

Food was warmed, quality is poorly made. I’ve been in many allo mom coco but this one is by faaaaar the best. Melon and fruits are not cold or fresh. The potatoes aren’t well cook or even good. The scrambled eggs are not hot or good. I mean i was really upset. Payed 39$ for 2 for this? The mango juice was great! I have to five credits to that!

Eh. For starters I ordered what I thought was a chocolate chip crepe but apparently it's a pancake listed under the crepe section? That wasn't ideal. My partner also found a small rock in her meal. The staff was super nice about things and didn't charger for her meal, or for the coffee because of the confusion over the crepe. Kind of over priced though for a basic breakfast place. Wouldn't recommend.

I love having brunch here! Their Breakfast Poutine is massive and tasty, but I would have to say my favourite is Choco Coco. You get all the savoury goodness + sweet nutella crepe. Their potatoes are pretty unique, as they're mashed yet chunky. Good stuff!

It was my first time at Allô! Mon Coco which was recommended by a family member and i must say it was one of the best experience I've ever had. I will definitely make another trip to Montreal just to go back there.

I love allo mon coco, the food is good the ambiance is nice, yet they are charging us for the coffee now but still worth it

I went there to eat with my friends yesterday. I ordered 'Guzzler' with no bacon. Later I found that I didn't get the ham and sausages, and also charged me extra for the coffee. All these were included in their freaking menu item (I'm so angry about the coffee part & my $21 booom!) The food was great though.

They need better breakfast options. I would suggest grilled chicken with three eggs and toast. Or some good omlettes

French toast ok. Pancake came too toasted in on side. Good eggs and potatoes. But nothing incredible. The high price doesn't worth it.

Bonne ambiance et idéal pour se retrouver avec son partenaire ou ses amis. C'est très bon et j'ai aimé mon frappé au chocolat. Par contre, ils sont si occupés que ils oublient qui veut commander. Sinon, c'était super.

Allô mon Coco is a great brand, food is always good or most of the time. Patato are always very good, but this allô mon coco in particular is the worst I did so far. The knife I had, it more the used, service was very bad. Waitress didn't come to refill water. It wasn't crowded at all, we were two tables of two. My order wasn't as I asked for either.

#3 is a good deal until they offer you "cheese on your potatoes? " It's a SCAM! For less than 100g of grated cheddar and swiss cheeses, they charge 3$ plus taxes on your bill without telling you it's 3$ extra. Never again!

eggs were fine.bacon was good.i didn't get any beans whatsoever which was disappointing and i didn't feel like going back there to talk to them about it.the crepe was not that good but the fruits inside were good.the strawberries tasted particularly fresh.

Potatoes i didn't eat.toasts were good.

Coffee i also didn't get.

The staff was fine and place seemed clean and well decorated.

The serve very little food and it takes them a very long time. I've been there for 20 minutes and going and am still waiting for the milk shake.the food sounds good but I can't say much because they haven't serve me yet.really upset with the service

Can't stop coming to the breakfast place. One of the best breakfast places in Montreal.

Ordered a waffle with strawberries, english cream. Comes with bacon or sausage, your choice of bread, potatoes, and eggs.

Meal was great. Loved the potatoes, portion was great (might be too much, which is a good thing). Waffles could be better, they were very tough.

Customer service was amazing. My friend forgot her earphones and I could retrieve it without any issue with the help of the staff. They don't rush your eating time even though there's a waiting line.

They also offer very fast takeouts.

Went here with my in-laws for breakfast on a recent trip to Montreal. Staff was super friendly and the food was delicious. We thought the portions were huge. Everyone was very happy.

I have tried the pancakes and the waffles. Both are great. But I would go for the pancakes with extra english cream. Everything is great.
