Allô mon Coco

Beware when ordering the avocado toast! Mine was covered with arugula as the kitchen’s way to try to hide the obviously brown & spoiled avocado spread. I expect fresh avocado when ordering this meal. I hate wasting food but should’ve returned my half eaten meal. Fruit was good.

Service rapide, personnel souriant. Notre serveuse était TRÈS gentille et attentionnée. Les assiettes sont belles et généreuses. Restaurant spacieux.

No push button at the door and definitely no help from the staff.

The person "welcoming" customers was arrogant, unprofessional, on the line wondering why a wheelchair user would go there.
Didn't understand why I needed space for the wheelchair and was rude that I asked to remove the chair (even had to explain why I didnt need the chair. I was tempted to tell her "humm is my power wheelchair too small for you to see it? "), even worst when I asked to move a bit the table so I could position my wheelchair to eat, very bad experience.
I asked for help at the exit because they have a nonsense double door, but never helped.

Waiter was ok but too busy to welcome us, talk to us and be human. I think a robot would have been more human than him.
He was rush for us to order, as if we must know the menu and what we want before going in, rush to make us leave.

Bad experience, expensive, I'll never go back to this location.

The food was just okay.
They also chaanged the english cream. Why would you change that? It was so good before. Now its more like a whipped cream.

Food was terrible eggs where cold just a disaster it’s the worse Allo Mon coco ever so sad I will never go back again

The staff are rude and condescending. The cheese potatoes have simply shredded cheese and not melted at all and actually so cold there's a frost to the bite. Save you money and time and go elsewhere.

Un peu trop bruyant pour moi, mais c'etais un samedi matin et beaucoup de monde. Le restaurant etait plein a craquer.
Mais c'est vraiment bien.
Un peu cher $$$ mais tout est cher maintenant.

Bénédictine excellente. L'éclairage est par contre très agressif. Ambiance de cafétéria d'hôpital.

Service was slow, had to ask three times for my first refill of coffee. Gluten free bread was very tiny. Special potatoes were boring, not all allo min coco are the same, others I have been too, were much better than this on in Montreal.

I love this place. Fast service considering how busy it is usually. Delicious food. The benedicts are my favorites there. My son loves the crepe.

The service is definitely better than the Angrignon branch.

Quick service and nice place to be with family and friends, especially on a Sunday morning.

The restaurant looks dirty. The food is overpriced and nothing special. I left smelling like fried oil. I also got bad indigestion from what I can only imagine was the oil the potatoes were fried in.

To loud, as I enjoy a peaceful breakfast solo or with great company haha! Sweet words in the morning are as fun as the last ones before bedtime, now imagine hearing utensils and dishes clkaclkack too one coffee and left.

A friend and I went to eat brunch there. I ordered the Special with 2 eggs (poached), bacon, sausages, ham and a banana pancake which I asked to be changed for blueberry (which they told me cost $1 extra). Friend ordered the Grilled Veggies casserole with scrambled eggs. I got the cubed potatoes and she got the half-pureed ones.

The place was beautiful and large, but if I have one complaint, it's that the person who seated us didn't ask where we wanted to be seated despite the place being largely empty at the time of our arrival. We moved ourselves to a quieter spot and let the waiters know.

Service was fine: the food arrived within 30 minutes of ordering and our main waiter was very friendly and accommodating, able to speak both French and English. One thing though is it's not consistent: several waiters came to speak to us so we were never sure who to ask for something as simple as a coffee refill. On that topic, I asked twice for a coffee refill and finally had to get up and ask someone to literally pour it in my cup to get it. In short, only our primary waiter was reliable.

The food was a bit on the ridiculous side: each meal is clearly supposed to be for a single person but everything is doubled to exaggerated proportions:
- The pancake was not only oversized in terms of width, but also thickness, to the point of not being very good because it was far too doughy. And though I asked for a blueberry pancake, the blueberries looked as though they'd simply been smashed in the middle of the pancake, there was no real blueberry taste. There was also no syrup at our table.
- The two pieces of bacon that came with my dish, apart from being oversized, also lacked a bit in crispness.
- For some reason, they seem to believe that ordering two eggs means they should come with two very thick slices of toast, each cut in half.
- Contrary to what's shown in the picture for this dish, the amount of cubed potatoes you get is excessively disproportionate to the rest of your dish. My dish arrived with the equivalent of a whole cup of potatoes and I could only finish a third of this rather enormous portion.

The sausages were a decent size but far too soft on the inside, not a good texture for a proper sausage at all. The ham was nothing special either, not very tasteful. The beans were not too bad but I would not recommend the creton (pork) as the taste and texture were not much different from canned tuna or chicken and definitely not as good as a proper pâté.

The eggs were good, as were our fruit (mine being decorative) and my friend's veggies. Ironically enough, my decorative fruit was actually the better part of my meal. The free coffee refills saved this meal for me as everything was generally too thick and too much and it made me constantly thirsty. Each of these meals is made for two people: I had to take a doggy bag for the remainder of my potatoes and my friend could also barely finish her meal. It's simply too much food for one person, and not the best quality for most of it.

Service très lent même en spécifiant à la serveuse que nous sommes un peu pressés. Les assiettes sont ordinaires avec des oeufs miroirs avec le jaune éclaté! Vraiment pas aimé la place!

Last day in Montreal ended with visiting this restaurant for brunch. Everyone speak English and French very well. Front staff greeted and seated us asap! Our server introduced us to the menu and everything was setup and rdy within 20m including fresh egg Beni and waffles for my lovely lady. Gotta say I don't write long reviews unless it was worth it. Great place nice environment! Great place to catch a quick or relaxing breakfast and brunch!

Le pire Allo mon coco de tout le Quebec. Vous serez traités comme du déchet par les serveurs. Ils sont tous en colère. Le service et communication sont nuls.

Patates terrible.personne les a mangé après les avoirs goût. Chaise brisé. Problème soulevé. Chaise enlevée et remis sur le plancher. Pure negligence. Si quelqu'un vous poursuit pour blessure vous aurez couru après.

This place has a special place in my heart and memories. Will always be my favorite location.
