Used to be a decent place, lately food quality and they have the most rude and lazy waitress.

New breakfast menu with slightly higher prices but well worth the additional cost.
Love the new menu format with healthy options. Generous portions and good quality food overall.
Service was attentive and professional.

Just celebrated
100 th birthday at the restaurant. Food was delicious and hot. Wait staff were kind, professional and unflappable. We tried to have a few speeches and brought a microphone but there was no plug for us to use. Overall we were very happy with the services. Owners were both very kind and attentive to our requests. Birthday boy was thrilled! Thanks again.

English cream is not whipping cream topping. They are trying to save money by passing off one for the other. Simply put, fraud.

Great place for a nice relaxing brunch in a weekend.
The place was full but wasn't crowded.
It was kinda busy, the waitress was slightly slower but ok.
I have the special Allo Mon coco. Eggs were done as requested (easy over). The breakfast came out hot. Love it.
Food was as usual great. The portions of fruits has decreased compared to before probably due to the inflation.
Overall great experience.
I would recommend to have an laid-back brunch.

Je ne comprends pas qu'on puisse nous servir des patates qui sont trop cuites ou réchauffées depuis si longtemps que ce ne soit pas mangeable. Ne cherchez pas de sirop d'érable pour vos crêpes ; ça coûte trop cher probablement, alors c'est du sirop de poteaux que vous recevrez. Pour le reste tout est bien et bon.

I never left any reviews about anything, but today I felt like I had to. I was there today with my friends and we had good time until the waiter came in, his name is Salah, (I would give him zero star if I could). He was and is the worst waiter I ever met. At first he made a lot of mistakes with our food choices and then when we asked for coffee he said no, we argued a little but didn’t really mind it, eventually he got us what we asked for. During our time there he never checked on us or asked us if we need any thing. At the end, when it was finally time to pay, he gave us one bill even though we asked for separate bills. I payed with no problem but didn’t tip him because of his bad service and he got the nerves to get mad at me and yell at me saying “it’s obligatory to tip and I can never skip that part” when i told him I’m not obligated to do it he threatened me to ask for security to kick us out. I told him if i speak to the manager it will be enough, he made a scene before going to get the manager and said loudly “IF YOU’RE CHEAP DON’T COME HERE AGAIN”. I spoke to the manager and she was amazing and even offered us coffees to go. I was having a great day but he ruined it for me.

I order benefits egg for pick up when i arrive home i realize no hollandaise sauce and the egg was no poached egg for 21$ breakfast im really disappointed

Previously my experience with this place was not excellente, but after revisiting it. The food is delicious and super valuable.
The food are prepared with care and in a very rapid timing.
Only complain would be that they seem to be located ina very busy area and you don't always get the best of the best services. It's just a bit inconsistent.

But up my review to 5 star, Allo mon Coco (s) are treasures in Montreal.

For me its you pay to much for less food since below retired appt mostly its for older people but for them its a good place to chat with other instead of staying home
