Super bon! Poutine Classic très bonne. Service très sympathique.ambiance décontractée et peu cher

I visited Altos 2 night ago. The food was incredible and the staff were great as well. They brought out my food very quickly and it was a incredible experience overall. Would recommend.

I like this place for a few reasons:

1. It's a family-run: (I think second generation) business. Brothers, sisters, parents. They care about running the place well.
2. The food is good: The ingredients are fresh, and tasty. The beef used for the hamburger steak tastes like it's a cut above.
3. The ambiance: A bit dimly lit and a warm vibe. Classic rock at a perfect volume. Slightly louder than just a background hum.
4. It's a neighborhood institution. I used to go to Alto when I was a teen in the late 80's when it was just across the street. They've always had a friendly, family vibe. So even though they've moved and the new location is a bit more modern looking, it still brig back memories of playing pool next door when the arcade was there.
5. There's a terrace with classic rock playing.
6. They close at 2am ;)

Alto Restaurant provided me with a fantastic dining experience. I started with a delicious salad and followed it up with a mouthwatering Gyro pork dish. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout my meal. The atmosphere was a standout feature as well, with pleasing decor that added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. I'll absolutely be returning to Alto Restaurant in the future for another delightful dining experience.

Ordered a half pep and half all dressed at 12 am and it was delicious! Great service, fast and friendly and ohhh the fries! Coming here again for sure!

Good late night food spot. Large menu. Good hours. Service can be slow at times when they get busy.

Wow. Where to begin? My sister found this restaurant by chance after we were struggling to decide where to eat. So we go to Alto, we didn’t have to wait at all we got seated right away. The staff was nice and kind. I enjoyed the atmosphere and ambiance of the place. Big shoutout to our waitress what a kind soul, she was so sweet and friendly! The food was really good! We got a pepperoni pizza for me, my little sister got a bacon pizza and my older sister a Burger! Everything was just so good!? I couldn’t finish my pizza and got to take it home. Thank you for giving us cold drinks! You would think other restaurants do that but no so thank you for real. We will come back when we get the chance to come in Montreal again:)

Poutine here is slept on, might be some of the best in the city. Thoroughly enjoyed my gyro as well. Great late night hours, friendly service and tasty food - can't go wrong with this spot.

2023 update- came back to upgrade my review to 5 stars. Had a great dine in experience, the bullseye burger is so dope. Service was just as dope. Everytime I've gotten food here, these guys do me right.

Ordered fries and burger & a veg pizza.
They managed to completely ruin the universal food "French Fries".
Specifically requested them not to put Artichokes on my pizza and it was full of artichoke when they served it.
Recommended for a quick bite. Overall friendly staff!

Always quick delivery so good and warm food. Always tasty and no frills. Alto gets us our fix of the classics.

We ordered their Fettuccine with shrimps thru Uber eats last night and enjoyed it. The shrimps were grilled and very flavorful. The portion was good so I had some left over but not enough for me and my husband. So this afternoon we ordered again. I called the restaurant to ask how I can add more shrimps through the app and asked if they would be grilled and spiced like we received last night. They confirmed and the order was placed.

We received the pasta with steamed/lighty pan fried shrimps, that were bland. I called the restaurant, a different person picked up and I asked if the shrimps on their pasta were supposed to be grilled. He put me on hold and then confirmed that they should be grilled. I then informed him of what happened, put me on hold again and said they need my number and they'll provide me with a 20% off on our next order.

I asked if we could just order again on Uber eats (We'd be paying of course since it's through the app) and informed him that we didn't need the discount, we'll reorder and just need them to make sure they were grilled and spiced like we got last night. He puts me on hold again then apologizes and says, they can't do anything as they pan fry the shrimps and not grill them. I then reminded him that he confirmed earlier that they were supposed to be grilled and he just apologized again. This was a $35.45 plate, which we would've enjoyed had the shrimps been cooked seasoned properly. Phots of the one from last night and what we got today. The shrimps from last night just had so much flavor compared to the ones received today.

I do appreciate the first fellow whom I spoke to and assisted me on how to add the extra shrimps. However, I wish they more consistent with their recipe/cooking procedure. Also, the conversation ended without me taking anything from them. Just to be crystal clear

Really tasty cheeseburger and chicken burger. Super friendly staff, very attentive to refill the water. Cozy and cool atmosphere, all clean and really nice. Definitely, one of my favorite restaurants in Montreal.

Late night pickup. Staff is awesome, pizza and poutine was delicious and portions are great. Will be back

Forget chain 24 hours restaurants, most good places are closed after 10pm this is the place for a nice food with reasonable price, I ordered submarine smoked meat 14 inch, it didn’t have enough meat in it but i liked it very tasty, onion rings, fries and omg the apple pie with vanilla ice cream u have to try it

I never rate anything 5 stars. Always feel there is room for improvement. Had a Alto special pizza no onions. Very good pizza generous amount of toppings but forgot the mushrooms. Found a little dry can use more sauce. Overall one of the better old school pizzas.up.

My friend and I came by this restaurant by chance and decided to give it a try. The outdoor terrace was beautifully decorated and Lidia was the perfect hostess. The food and beverages were delicious and in generous portions. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Historic part of Milton-Parc: the joy of Alto's survival from the great fire of 2016 can only be matched by the joy of eating an Alto burger when hungry. Classic diner fare: thick, fresh and tasty. Glory to Alto forever.

Came to Alto twice already, and will definitely be coming back! We ordered a bunch of different things from the menu: wings, pasta, burgers, and of course, their pizzas and each time, the food was delicious! They also open late, so it's the perfect place to go for late-night comfort food

Ordered delivery, it was on time and really good pizza and wings, I called and got everything I needed at a good price at night late. Would eat here again for sure.

These people know what they are doing! It's almost like I hang up after ordering and they are already at my front door. Every order is done perfectly and it's super fast. It's our "go to" for excellent delivery. And they recently changed their fries. WAY better than the previous ones. Great job!
