Amigo Karting

Opted for the superkart and it was worth the wait.

FYI, if you’re looking to go alone, you’re doing laps and not a Grand Prix (Qualifying + race), as you need ten or more people.

Also, my kart wasn’t timed accurately; they had some glitches as I was driving for 30 minutes and the others for 20 minutes only, but I did get to know my fastest lap; however, I was expecting more data on my laps.

The track is one of the best I’ve seen in the Gatineau area, and it’s open as well, so it adds more excitement to it.

Friendly staff.

Suggestion: add a screen on the side or somewhere in the open so drivers can get an idea about their lap times and speed during the race instead of checking it after the race.

I will definitely return back for some more karting!

Super fun. Hard work. The carts MOVE so you better be ready for a thrilling and difficult adventure. The banked turns do not disappoint. They say to take the first few laps slow but I was foolish and did not. Learned my lesson after spinning out several times. Carts handle well if you know what you’re doing. I did not, but it was never too bad even though I kept crashing. The low centre of gravity means you never flip, you just slide into the tire walls. Highly recommend. Staff are patient with idiots, just follow their rules if you do suck at karting.

I have been to Amigo a few times, I always enjoyed my time. Friendly service and safety taken seriously. Fast enough karts, it was busy and some young drivers, but still a food time. I highly recommend.

Went to watch friends in a group. Was a bit disappointed that the entire track that we could see, wasnt driveable with their gocarts, but guess its because different level or speed ones or ages had different tracks. Great service, and quick to change carts for client if there was an issue with it. Everyone had a great time. Worth the trip and experience for sure by them all. Was nice we could watch. Lots of free parking.

Went with 10 people ranging from 6 - late 40s. The family track allows two types of carts, with one type for smaller kids that are quite a bit slower. This makes it rather annoying for the faster carts as the smaller kids don't have driving knowledge so they are often weaving around unpredictably and one has to always be extremely careful that they don't steer right into the path This resulted in a fair amount of people going off track and needing to be helped to get back on.

Also the family track is about 400m so 30 minutes is way too long for older drivers because the track gets monotonous.

They should really keep the two types of karts separate, perhaps 30 minute intervals, or a wider track with a slow and fast lane? Would make it more fun and safe for everyone.

They don't take reservations for groups less than 10 people. Therefore, we had to wait in line for 90 minutes before we could actually ride the karts. Also, also they have "more than one kilometre of outdoor track", this is a bit misleading as there is two different tracks and you get to ride on one only, so about 450 m for the regular karts, 630 m for the super karts. Great location, equipment clean and well maintained. Staff not overly friendly but bilingual and competent.

Great day racing with the family. A bit of a wait but worthwhile. Fastest karts are well worth the price.

I’ve been there twice and twice the organization is lacking at every level. First time we came for my son’s bd with a group of 20 peoples. When we showed up, first they didn’t have my reservation. (I even called twice to make sure they had an accurate amount of people) and both said yep ok, without asking my name or info.and they told me that normally they send a information sheet so people knows what to expect.but they didn’t so most of group never did it so we didn’t know that we need cover shoes and some show up in crocs, and they needed to pay for renting shoes.they charge peoples the wrong amount (without the group discount) event if they told the guy they were part of the group, some cars was really slow compare to others, for a big reservation you need to pay a deposit and are not refund, you’re basically paying for like 5 persons and those people needs to send you money. Second time we came was without reservation and was really chaotic as well. Looks like a bunch of teenager running the place without proper supervision. However the activity itself is fun when you’re on the track.

Horrible experience, lack of temper control and kindness from one of the staff member! Yelled at me to slow down when I was already slowing down, probably just bc it wasn’t fast enough for his liking, and stopped me later, reducing my time left to enjoy, the time that I PAID FOR, just to tell me to slow down around people needing help as if his annoying yelling earlier wasn’t enough. Zac, the staff member I’m talking about, proceeds to yell at me at the end, because I wasn’t Sure if the flag announcing the end was meant for me. Wondering if this hostile attitude towards me wasn’t racially motivated. All this to say, I’M NEVER GOING BACK.

Si votre jeune enfant fait deja du sport motorisé, allez pas faire de go-kart parce qu'il ne sera pas impressionné.

Payé pour 30 minutes de Karting avec mon fils de 8ans. Après m'être rendu compte que le kart des enfant de moins de 12ans roule pas plus vite qu'un fauteuil roulant, je leur ai demander de nous arrêter apres 15 minutes et rembourser la balance (m'ont parlé de carte cadeau). Mais ils ne l'ont pas fait.

Amazing go-karting place. Has separate tracks for kids and adults. We did the adult go karts with the super karts. The karts are amazing, the track is one of the best I have driven. Highly recommended for anyone who likes high speed go kart driving.

Great place to go with tour family as they have different size Karts! Also have the big karts for older kids or adults. Bathrooms we're pretty gross though so only go if you have to!

Horrible experience! Waited 1 hour 30 mins in scorching sun for a mediocre 20 mins ride. Slow and uncomfortable karts, rude personnel. Only negative impression, nothing positive about the location.

Très belle endroit avec une ribenbell d'activités pour les enfants (à partir d'environ 3 ans) les prix sont très raisonnables et selon mes souvenirs n'ont pas augmenté depuis longtemps contrairement à plusieurs autres activités de ce genre. Le karting est une belle activité de famille même pour les parents
