Ancien Four A Pizza

Emballé d'essayer ce restaurant depuis plusieurs mois, enfin le jours est arrivé.
Cependant je reste légèrement sur mon appétit, 40$ pour une pizza peperoni moyenne + une poutine. Pizza au goût très tomaté, ce que j'aime un peu moin et poutine très ordinaire, peut-être le fait que c'était un take-out.

Overall je crois que manger sur place peut être une meilleure idée, j'essaierai ça la prochaine fois!

Le service sur place était impeccable.

J'ai adoré ce resto, la nourriture était excellente un service hors pair et professionnel et une ambiance en musique

Ordered to go, 2 family poutines and 2 Subs. The poutine was put in a small container that would barely be enough for one person let alone a family and the sub that used to be done on home made bread is now done in a store bought thinner bread. The Sub tasted good but I can’t say the same for the soggy poutine. It cost me over 85$ to feed a family of 2 adults and 3 kids and we left the table hungry. The new owners must do better, when they first took over we had supper in the dining room and the quantity was 2 times more than for takeout.

So sad when restaurants sell and they DESTROY the original recipe! Goodbye ancien four! You used to be soo good!

Today it's been a big deception. Heard that the place changed ownership. A month ago took subs.they where good but they now use the regular white bread instead of pizza bread made in wood oven. According what they say you now needs to ask for it.
Today ordered pizza. Not the same pizza anymore. Thin crust, almost no cheese, way less stuff on it and the special with meat sauce.not the meat sauce they use before, more like tomato sauce.
Looks like they cut on everything except the price. Take time to compare my special ancien four with older pictures. Sorry but use to order there for years and recommend but NO way I'm ordering there anymore. Not worth the detour. Place is renovated but without the the quality of what it was! Sad

Superbe découverte, on cherchait justement “notre” nouveau resto pour manger de la pizza. Succulente! Les frites sont hummm! Nouveaux clients réguliers!

Pire sousmarin de ma vie, jai demander viande bien cuit surtout le peperoni et steak.rien mais absolument rien etais bien cuit, la viande etais comme dla viande froide, juste cuit legerment.arriver a la maison j etais pas capable de le lever car le pain n etais pas cuit non plus.je m ennuie des ancien proprios.

Best authentic wood oven pizza in town. The staff is amazing- you really feel part of the family. I love going there with my wife and three kids, definitely recommend going with the family and trying this place out. 5 star +

Finally an excellent Italian spot in Ste Dorothée for wood fired pizza and subs! Highly recommend, food is awesome, staff is super friendly.
Will not disappoint! Pretty great espresso too:)

Déçue de ne pas retrouver le même bon *Ancien Four* que je connais! Ma pizza était brûlée, j’ai demandé la moitié sans sauce et elle en était pleine….
j’hésite à recommander ce resto qui était tellement bon. Dommage!

I had a great experience, great food, A1 service, and a perfect place to bring family and friends for a nice pizza… will go again

La pizza est excellente mais ils ont fait 4 erreurs sur une commande de 4 pizza et on a due attendre 30min car ils ont due renvoyer une pizza complète car elle n'était pas la bonne sorte et en plus on a demandé un extra qu'on a jamais eu

We went walking in the afternoon and came to this newly opened Pizza Restaurant "L'Ancien Four A Pizza". We were welcome with warm greetings from their Italian Chef. He prepared us a very fresh and delicious pizza from their ancient oven. He offered us with a Potato Fries with Cheese toppings which is very tasty and free of charge. He also gave me a free coke. So please come and see their place.

Apparently a new Owner started now, the sub was Good, but they were closed on Monday even it shows open, so check first.
