I have lived here for more than a year now, and I can only recommend this place.
Building is beautiful, amenities are great and open 24/7 which is awesome, appartements are incredible, and the staff is very helpful and gentle.
Prices are representative of the quality of the offered services.
Best building in downtown!

Amazing Place Well located and near to concordia Uni and St catherine street.
We are in the middle of 2 metro lines (Orange and green) 3-5 mins walking distance of both lines.

Great common area and heated swimming pool.
Nice to study and work.

The building management is super responsive and helpful. Security is there 24/7 so packages never get stolen. Building amenities are great too. The only thing that didn't work for me was the high increments in rent but overall, 100% recommend Rakotta!

Dorchester is the ideal location if you want to have everything within a few blocks.

The building has all the essentials to quickly turn it into your home: gym, pool, common areas, etc.

The doormans team and the staff in general are always there for you.

If you are new to Montreal, it is the ideal place to get to know the city.

It’s my 2nd year living here and I love it. The building is always spotless and a great place to come home to. The staff is very responsive and always at your aid. I would definitely recommend for anybody looking.

Formidable lieu de vie! Super accueil de toute l'équipe de l'immeuble, un building manager d'exception (Adil) et des services de très haute qualité à l'intérieur qui offrent un cadre de vie unique. L'immeuble est idéalement situé, au centre-ville avec une vie de quartier et proche de tout pour découvrir la ville de Montréal. Le petit plus: les voisins sont très sympathiques.

The location of the building is perfect, you have everything nearby: pharmacy, supermarket, restaurants, shopping malls and more.

The staff is always there to help you and give you an excellent service.

I have been living at Dorchester Appartements for almost two years now and I have no complains. The building is beautiful, amenities work perfectly and everyone is so nice! It is a great place at the heart of downtown Montreal to live in. Every time I've needed some advising regarding the building or anything related I have gotten it, specially from Adil who is always ready to help one out! I fully recommend!

Aucune gérance, les administrateurs sont rarement disponibles pour les anciens locataires, ils sont la que lorsqu’on est des clients prospects (nouveau: on vient pour louer), tous le bâtiment a un seul concierge et au cas de problème il n’y a personne avec qui parler et personne ne répond sur l’application fait à cette effet.
La pire expérience. Je le déconseille fortement vu rapport qualité prix je pouvais trouver mieux ailleurs.

Mon expérience aux appartements Dorchester est très positive depuis mon arrivée. La propreté des lieux, l'équipe de sécurité et les aires communes contribuent à vivre une belle expérience. L'accueil sur les lieux était des plus agréables et le processus de location d'une simplicité que l'on ne trouve pas ailleurs. Un grand merci à Adil pour l'excellent service!

Espace de vie très chaleureux, sécurisé et des lieux propres et big up à l’autre emplacement, idéal pour des étudiants en plein centre ville de Montréal.

My experience at Dorchester Apartments has been nothing short of amazing! The building complex and the facilities are well taken care of and in good shape. The study area comes in handy during exam season, and has great study lighting that's easy on the eyes. You can take a study break and play pool, or go to the gym, or go for a swim, all conveniently located on the same floor. Report any issue on the user-friendly app and maintenance takes care of it swiftly. Huge thanks to Adil, management is very helpful and eager to resolve any concerns that you might have.

I have been in this building for over a year now, and can say that I am quite pleased with every aspect of it. As an international student, I have found to have everything I needed here! It is only a walk away from campus, the location is perfect for any concordia student.

The security, management, and maintenance teams have always been kind to assist me in any way they can. I personally appreciate the common help I have gotten from employees such as Joshua, Anthony and many others in security; as well as Adil in management. I have found them to be very friendly and reliable. Additionally, the amenities included as well as the common areas are regularly cleaned.

All in all, my experience here has been great so far, and I appreciate how organized this building is!

I moved here a couple of months ago, and I highly recommend this place! I moved to Montreal at the end of October, and Adil was great in helping me to find a suitable apartment for my situation. Living here is an enjoyable experience due to the central location of the apparent and the amenities included. Even more important, the environment in the building is excellent - special mention should go to the security team, which is very helpful and makes you feel at home. Having had to move alone to the city, I am very grateful for their kindness since day one.
So far, I have not needed to call the maintenance team yet, but they are also very friendly when you see them around, as are the housekeeping staff.
Looking forward to the continue enjoying my unit for the foreseeable future!:)

I have been living at the Dorchester for 5 months and I must say that my first experience in Montreal was excellent!
I absolutely recommend this place, not only for the excellent location and the quality of the apartment but also for the maintenance of the building by a staff available 24 hours a day.
Special mention to Adil, Julie and the whole team who take care of the building with a master hand.
Always happy and helpful, they are an integral part of this building. I am extremely satisfied with my apartment, and I highly recommend this building!

J'ai pris un bail pour 1 an. 6 mois après, je peux vous dire que je ne regrette pas ma sélection. Les membres du personnel sont accueillants et professionnels. L'environnement est propre et l'espace commun est très bien aménagé (gym, piscine, aire d'étude, salle de lavage, etc.).
Si vous avez un problème (changement d'ampoule, etc.), l'application mobile est simple d'utilisation et le personnel règlerera le ticket dans les meilleurs délais.
Bref, très bonne expérience.

It’s been a great experience living in Dorchester. The team is highly organized and all the staff members are friendly and kind. I would highly recommend Adil, if you needed advice or you were facing any problems. He helps a lot and guides you patiently through the process.

I rented an apartment since one month with Adil ️️, the process was super rapid and friendly. Adil and Julie, are super helpful and response to messages very quickly? They make sure to sort any issues as soon as possible. The apartment is super modern, and full of light. The security people are super nice and helpful. The location is wonderful, all important places are walking distance. I definitely recommend Dorchester Apartment Rakotta.

I moved in the few days ago, and the apartment is very good. The agent Julie is very patient and professional, and she replies my questions by email very fast.

Everything has been improved over the past year at Dorchester. I would not have a problem with recommending this place to live in Montréal now.

I cannot rate this place high enough. We rented an apartment here for my eldest son who attends McGill and were thrilled with everything about the building, including the amenities and location but were even more thrilled with the service from Thomas to get us started and then Julie, the leasing agent at Rakotta, who provided incredible service (responding to all communications promptly, even after the lease was signed and up to the end of the lease) and really made everything about the rental top-notch. She was a joy to deal with and so very helpful. Thank you thank you thank you Julie and Rakotta! Consider us incredibly happy customers.

Had a terrible experience with a very rude manager who yelled at me while sgning the lease I had to leave. I definitely do not recommend!

Ok, so it has da BEST location ever in Montreal! I mean I learned the whole city directions by living in Dorchester, Super close to any place you'll ever need in this whole city.
Very clean and when they call it renovated they actually mean it. One special thing about the building is that all amenities aside, they have a common area where you can simply hang out in a friendly atmosphere, haven't seen anything remotely similar to it somewhere else.
The building managers are nice and try to help and handle situations as much as possible.the building has some strict rules though, which I can relate to the very high security. It'd be the best choice for those who actually care about their safety and wouldn't be party animals. Highly recommended If you're new to Montreal and need to assure yourself to have somewhere safe and warm for this game-of-tronsY winters of the city!

We like the place very much, right next to Concordia and very student friendly staff is nice and helpful.

Bon emplacement et unités propres mais règlement oppressant, locataires traités comme rien, et plusieurs voisins ont eu des problèmes hallucinants avec le propriétaire dont le comportement semble anormal (?). Nous n'avons pas tenu plus de 5 mois. A fuir

Place is great, always kept clean. Especially good for students at Concordia given it’s close proximity to campus and the many students living in the building. I haven’t ever had any issues with management, they’ve always been quite friendly

Conclusion: cherchez encore un peu, vous trouverez probablement bien mieux ailleurs, pour le même prix

It was clean and cozy and I always felt that tenant satisfaction was important to Them. Every time i had an issue with something breaking or malfunctioning, their assistance was immediate and always truly helpful.

Almost perfect, place 5/5, maintenance 5/5, administration 4/5, owner 0/5 (brutal and hostile towards some tenants which I would describe as gangster like behaviour) Overall 4/5.
Worst case scenario: owner shows at your door shouting and cursing.
