Terrible experience. Went there with 2500$ in my pocket looking for a replacement laptop for my current 2011 MacBook Pro. When inquiring about the memory of the computers they said the max was 512gb (approx) unless I wanted to upgrade a MacBook bro and boost the memory looking at over 3000$. When asking about transferring data I would get “I’m not sure” or “I can’t confidently answer that”. When I spoke to a senior apple specialist they told me it was too old for the transfer of information and they wouldn’t do it. They recommended I purchase a 200$ external hard drive. This being said I didn’t feel comfortable spending this amount of money when most answers were unsure. I decided to go to apple Laval, and let’s just say the experience was a complete turnaround. They answered all my questions offered to do the transfer and also told me just to build a MacBook to my specification online and bring it in when I’m ready to transfer my memory from one laptop to the other (free). What I found out online was the memory upgrade was about 100$. Don’t waste your time at apple fairview

The place is great to go shopping there. I usually go there 3 to 4 times a week. I found out that there was a fire there on the roof or ceiling by were Sunrise Records store is and further on.

3 stars for the outcome of my visit and options recommended to me by their supervising staff. The person serving me was helpful. He did his usual analysis of
my product and even spoke to a supervisor, who seemed to just dismiss him and seemed like encouraged him to hurry up with me.
At the end giving me the option of buying a new item (iPad Pro) and leaving mine for recycling.
I chose to keep it and look into other “non Apple” option, leaving feeling dismissed!
At the the end, I had my iPad repaired from a third party repair shop for an extremely great price and satisfied.
Oh yes, the problem was a defective power plug outlet, easily replaced.

Perhaps it is Apple policy to replace rather than repair. I’m not bitter rather more aware of Apple’s bottom line which is profits.

Pour ma part j'ai été très déçu par l'ensemble de l'expérience vécu aujourd'hui. Cette histoire de RDV selon moi est une vrai aberration qui défie l'entendement surtout quand nous savons ce que nous voulons et n'avons pas besoin de précisions sur le produit acheté.

L'employer qui prenait les rendez-vous à l'entrée était selon moi un réel incompétent. Je lui ai dit ce que je voulais et au lieu de trouver une solution pour finaliser une vente, il s'est cacher derrière ce protocole dérisoirestupide et m'a fait un petit hochement de la tête pour dire: " tu peux t'en aller, je m'en cali***".

J'ai tous les produits Mac à la maison et considérant ma fidélité j’aurais espéré un meilleur traitement au final.

Donc au lieu d'attendre une heure pour acheter mon produit, je me suis rendu chez Best Buy qques portes plus loin et je suis ressortis avec le produit Mac désiré en moins de 5 minutes.

Oui bien sûr il y avait du monde à l'appstore mais autant chez Best Buy et pourtant ces derniers ont su réagir adéquatement et s'adapter à la demande du client. Pour une compagnie multimilliardaire (Apple), la plus riche au monde c'est une vrai déception d'être traité de la sorte. Je me console en me disant que leur produit sont tjrs à la hauteur de nos attentes.

I went into the store to buy both a new iPhone and an iPad. I couldn't browse the products on display because the features were only in French. They didn't even bother putting the features in English in smaller lettering. My French is limited to convesational French, not technical French. A representative would have had to stand there and relate to me the differences in features for both phones and Ipads, for the different generations, etc. I was told they weren't allowed to put English on the information cards. No wonder the store is so busy and you can't get service! I ended up shopping on Amazon for a new iPhone and an iPad.

Had to wait 45mins to see someone and the person took 1 minute just to say the model I was looking was not in stock whereas on apple site it shows inventory in stock. Disgusting customer service

The only reason it doesn't get 5* is that I've yet to go in on any given day and it's not completely packed. The store is kept clean and the staff is knowledgeable when it comes to questions. Sometimes service is slow because of the volume of people. But hard to blame Apple for that.

Got my dry and wet cupping done there. It was incredible. Ibrahim Ahmad is a master at the art. He's gentle, calming, therapeutic, informative, responsive, and friendly. The gym is not massive, which means the few members it has get a lot of attention and assistance in their fitness journey

Ark! Suis allée pour avoir des renseignent pour l'achat d'un macbook. La fille qui est venue me voir s'en calissait vraiment pas à peu près. Ne répondait pas à mes questions, javais linpression de la déranger, grosse perte de temps pour moi, ils ont vraiment le monopole et donc le service ils s'en crissent.je vais commander enigne pis m'organiser avec mes affaires mais pourquoi une boutique Apple quand les gens qui y travaillent ont pas envie d'aider les clients. I went in to ask a simple question regarding a MacBook Air, and no one came to greet or serve me. This was today, Saturday, June 18th, at approximately 4pm. I waited and waited, was even browsing features page on the laptop because I was bored. I look up and realized they weren’t that busy, and a bunch of employees kept standing in groups chatting. A bunch of them then walked to the employee area, leaving only a few left. I saw one scrolling on her machine, and approached her and said “I have a quick question about a product “. She says “Uhhhh sure”. Then turns to a coworker, talks to him for a minute, walks away, then comes to another customer. If she was already serving someone she could have said so, instead of saying “sure”. I’ve worked retail for the last five years, if I’m with someone I say so and see if I can spot a colleague who’s free. I’ve been told before that I look younger than I am, so maybe they thought I was just some teenage kid wanting to play with the computers, but I’m in my 20s, was ready to purchase, and now I’m rethinking it.

A store with an incredible team of dedicated of hard working, intuitive, and compassionate individuals. A special thanks to Victor, Fabie, and Simon for not only ensuring that I not leave the store as a satisfied as a customer, but for their tireless efforts in addressing, dissecting, analyzing, and fixing the problems I was having with my iPhone. I was beyond it impressed that hours later my technical issues were still approached with many a smile and a laugh despite the situation being wondrously frustrating at best. Thank you for being so incredibly kind about it all. Top notch experience at Apple Fairview in Pointe Claire!

Apple Montreal Fairview sold me in October 2020 AN EXPENSIVE LAPTOP COMPUTER with malfunctioning hardware pieces.

Apple Montreal Fairview sold it to me as "BRAND NEW".

Date of Purchase: Oct. 30,2020
Serial No: C02DG8JTP3XY

15 months after (January 2022), the "BRAND NEW" computer literally stop working; because of malfunctioning hardware pieces to be replaced.

Apple now is asking me to pay CAD 800 $ + Tax to replace malfunctioning parts in the "BRAND NEW" computer.

Thank you for ruining my apple experience after 10+ years of being your client and advocating your brand; if Steve Jobs was alive and hearing about this claim, he would be totally disappointed of YOU!

Today after being on the phone with three very kind and helpful representatives; the bottom line is:

Tried to buy a 3000$ MacBook. Was told 30 min wait. No problem. 30 minutes later I asked how much longer. They told me I was not on the list. Don't waste your time, go to another apple store.

I came with my wife to pick up a band for her watch. They refused to let us enter the shop together. The reason since we have only 19 limit so we can’t have you both in. But separately yes:). I spent the day before about $2500. Disappointing!

My son's IPad was not charging. Went to the store to see if the plug adapter or the wire cable were defective. Had a problem to get into the store to connect the IPad to find out the problem. The outside employee wanted me to make an appointment to have it inspected. After a 5 minute debate I finally got into the store. The cable wire was defective as o suspected.

I've had an OK experience at this place. Had my appointment to fix 3 airpods and right from the start I was told that apple could only looked at only one airpod at the time, I had to tell them that I had booked service appointment to fix multiple airpods. The employee Omar helped us professionally and was very quick and efficient, however he was pushed 3 times by his supervisor to finish it even quicker. The most outrageous thing happened when one of the supervisors approach me and asked me to send my kids 13 and 9 years old outside of the store to wait for me there as the store was at their client capacity and couldn't bring more clients to serve. I understand apple intentions, but I don't accept the disrespect towards me as a client with kids. The quatily of the airpods and the airpods pro from apple keep failing within the 1st year of the normal usage. Hope my rewiew will help to improve at least customer service.

The absolute worst customer service experience I have ever encountered.
The staff were not helpful and they would not even talk in English. I would speak English and they would respond back in French.

12 staff members hanging around doing nothing and still had to wait 37 minutes to see a salesperson to find out they were out of stock of the item i wanted. Ended up ordering online and got it next day. Definitely not worth the trip to that store.

I think this Apple store is great. For once, I am able to be greeted by staff who speak French. What a wonderful and refreshing change compared to the chronic frustrations I experience in my locality.
Always double standards where English speaking people complain and yet, French speaking people have to deal with this issue on a daily basis: English speaking people who serve the public in MY French community and have the nerve to tell our French speaking citizens that they don't speak French. And yet, we have put up with this for years.
Bravo Montréal. Keep up the good work

Super rude employees. They treat you in a way that they are superior people working in a special place who everybody dreams of that. NO, YOU ARE A SIMPLE WORKER!
I asked to look at the devices, just to look. They refused first and asked me to take an appointment but finally they let me to get inside and watch the new items but in the middle they impolitely asked me to leave the store and I didn’t even look behind, passing their rudeness.

Terrible customer service. Not at all accommodating. I called Apple Care and was given an appointment. I told them I had a new phone and needed some help with it. When I showed up for my appointment they wouldn't let me in. They said they only did technical repairs with a faulty phone. I asked then why was I given an appointment. Was told, oh, they make appointments for all over and some places like in the States might do that. They were rude and not helpful. Finally they let me in and I met with Steven who was great but the girl at the check-in and then her co-worker were terrible. Worst customer service ever!

I was surprised how well organized was my shopping experience. The waiting line was super fast compared to other Apple stores on the area. Everybody was kind and servicial. This is by far the best Apple store in Montréal area.

Le 12 mai 2021 j'ai acheté un iPad a la succursale de Pointe Claire, le représentant m'a donner un credit de 75$ pour mon ancien iPad après l'avoir évaluer, j'ai recu mon nouveau iPad le 10 juin puisqu'il était en rupture de stock et j'ai retourné mon ancien iPad pour recevoir le 75$, quelle nouvelle cette semaine Apple me dit qu'ils ont réévaluer mon iPad et qu'il me donne rien pour ce iPad. J'ai accepter d'acheter mon iPad a cette succursale puisque j'avais un credit de 75$ maintenant apple ne supporte pas ses représentants et refuse de me payer mon 75$ et ils ne répondent meme pas a mes deux écrits successifs, j'appeler ca un service a la clientèle exécrable et aucun support a leur représentant et aucun respect pour leur client

I used to get amazing service at that store, but when it came time to replace the hard drive on my iMac, I had the worse service experience in my career. After 4 trips to the store (amid a pandemic), $500 in repairs, and days of work lost, I still don't have a functioning iMac. It was given the "all ok" clear after the repair, but it is now so slow that it is actually inoperable. I have to resort to using my 11-year old MacBookPro to get my work done. The loading bar can take up to 20 minutes, then once the screen is up, it takes several more minutes before I can click on anything, and even then, other long minutes before anything launch. Opening a file in any application takes minutes. The spinning color wheel is now a permanent presence onscreen. The people there showed zero initiative earlier on when I had to go to the store three times before they finally took charge (after I complained to management), and when they did repair it, it's pretty obvious some petty employee decided to get even by hobbling my computer. They replaced the fan and did not even clean inside. I had just bought a brand new MacBookPro there. Returned it. I no longer want to deal with this store.

Apple products must be really affordable, environmentally responsible, and support a diverse personnel for so many Montrealers to choose to spend their money at Apple.

Went in well knowing their 4 tier repair parameters, they price pointed up at the highest tier and were unable to explain why.

Our computer screen has a defect and no damage on our end. No responsibility taken, no feasible plan of action given. $1000+ repairs estimated.

We were able to troubleshoot and find a solution that worked elsewhere but I fear for impressionable customers during a time when people are highly relying on their devices.

*Also, they told the man before me (who had a little girl) that only one person could go in per appointment and therefore he could not take her in with him. YIKES.

Well it's always been a good mall, but to my knowledge, they should be more strict with the rules of covid, customers should respect the signs leading them left and right, and dont come in groups and block the other customers, come only if you are going to shop, but not to walk around,

Went there on a service visit and staff members were very efficient in finding an appointment and they dealt with my AirPod Pro issue in timely manner and overall I am happy with this store’s performance.

J'ai eu une expérience terrible à ce magasin!
J’ai pris un rendez-vous pour faire la réparation de l'écran de mon téléphone et ils me l'ont rendu encore plus endommagé qu'il ne l'était avant! Après avoir eu une discussion avec le gérant de plancher, on m'a répondu que ce n'était pas dans les standards d'Apple de réparer les téléphones qui avaient eu des dommages par l'eau et qu'il ne voulait pas me faire la réparation. Ce qui en mon sens est ok, mais j'ai récupéré mon téléphone dans un état pitoyable à un tel point qu’il manque un gros bout de verre sur mon écran. Le gérant à qui j’ai parlé m'a même conseillé d'aller voir chez un ''Jober'' de coin de rue et qu'il allait surement réparer mon téléphone! Manque de professionnalisme incroyable et mon téléphone est brisé. Je ne recommande aucunement ce magasin.

Needed a technician for a problem with my iPad. Was helped by a young girl who not only did not help at all but at the end sprayed the keyboard attached to my iPad because of the pandemic. She should have requested my permission to spray it. When I got home all keys and surface of my keyboard were stained and cannot be cleaned. Three times I requested a call from the manager, never called so went in person to be told no refund, no help, I'm left on my own with now a defective item. This store and Apple doont even deserve one star from me.

We had a great service and an awesome experience at this Apple Store! Went to buy my new phone and got served by Ellie, he is amazing and knows his products very well! He was so patient with us, answered all our questions and went above and beyond to help us! I highly recommend him, or this Apple Store in general, very safe during Covid times as well, took all the measured and safety precautions.
