We went for lunch. The place is cool, spacious.
We were not impressed by the food. However we appreciated the service and the ambiance.

We so wanted this to be a good spot to eat. We desperately wanted Italian, it was around the corner from our hotel and it was a very cute restaurant. It was empty but was earlier than general eating hour so that was not a red flag. The restaurant is freezing cold and seemed to have no heating. My partner ordered a scallop, shrimp and octopus pasta and I had the
Amatriciana rigatoni. The seafood pasta arrived with only shrimp and when we asked where the other seafood was we were told it never arrived so they only had shrimp. Totally Get that sometimes food runs out but then change the menu or let customers know so they can order something else. To charge a customer for a meal missing key ingredients is dishonest. We were not offered anything much as an apology and informed we had received more shrimp so.
The server seemed really lost on what to do with making drinks and how to deal with the situation at hand. What made it worse was the food seemed reheated and dry which made no sense as we were only one of two seatings in the place. I did feel bad for the server it seems like the place is struggling to do business. Ironically the neighboring restaurant was hopping and full to capacity and we ate there two nights prior and it was awesome. My rigatoni was okay but overall given the experience we won't return.

SERVICE ODIEUX, ça a pris 40 minutes pour avoir un seul verre, mauvaise attitude dans le service. EN PLUS JE TROUVE DES cheveux dans mon plat. Plus jamais.

Restaurant TOUT SIMPLEMENT RACISTE, plein de place vide, il nous refusent l entree alors que les gens avant et apres nous Sont rentre sans réservation! Ils ont dit qu’il demande une réservation mais leur site montre qu on peut reserver a la meme heure. Voici m’es preuves a l appui INACCEPTABLE EN 2023

A éviter! DES RACISTES! Il y a un choix délibéré de garder une clientèle Blanche, j y suis aller avec une ami et on s est fait refusé en question de réservation mais deux minutes après d’autres clients sont rentrés dans le restaurant sans réservation et sans problème.

This was an excellent experience. Food is amazing and a variety of different foods. They have a build your own pasta and it is excellent.

Went for a quick bite, ended up staying for hours! The atmosphere is incredible, food spectacular and the staff is SO warm and welcoming. Kamiah was a great waitress and knew the menu (and wines) very well! Will definitely be back.

They take forever to prepare the food. We waited for so long and the table next to us got their food when we were about to leave although they were already there when we were seated!

The staff are so friendly and trying their best but they definitely need more waiters.

Food was also very underwhelming after the long wait. Pasta was okay. The rice in the arancini was undercooked. The tiramisu was really bad and tasted weird.

Very bad customer service. We have been waiting literally 1 hour to get the food. They don’t even bother about the customer who are waiting for the food. Very disappointed with their service. Too bad

Not bad, I found the prices to be inflated but the food was good. I'd go back, but it wouldn't be one of my go to Italian spots.

Sorry to say about this restaurant I booked for a old port location on my birthday which is on 26th march for a dine in…. Very disappointed the customer service of the old port branch called me and said they have some technical issues with the branch and moved me to the different location which is at monk land where there was no person except myself and my husband where there and the ambiance was also not good didn’t get a good vibe I just booked old port location for the ambiance

We were greeted very well by all the workers
Had a drink that the bartender recommended, which was really to my liking with whipped ricotta crostone, loved that so much.
Had fresh pasta with rosai and gnocchi with pesto and burrata, that was bomb, they really know what they are doing

For the last night of our Montreal vacation, we chose Aqua E Farina for dinner and it was the best meal of our trip! The service was excellent and the food was amazing. We only wish we'd discovered this place sooner. My husband had the tagliatelle with lamb ragu and was thoroughly impressed! The rigatoni with sausage I chose did not disappoint. And both of my very picky kids enjoyed their spaghetti and meatballs. As soon as we plan another trip to Montreal this will be our first stop for sure!

Came here on a Friday evening, it had a decent amount of people so the atmosphere was really nice. The waitress went above and beyond to accommodate my gluten allergy and the gluten free gnocci was delicious. The quality you get for the price point is also notable. 10/10 but the dessert was not up to expectations

Wasn’t planning to go this place at all, however ended up there. When we reached the place, rhe terrace was almost full with only one table empty - it looked like Customwr just left - so we took it. No one was on the door for thr reception which is confusing since it is very busy and you don’t know if you have to wait until u r seated or sit directly. Anyway, we waited until it was cleaned. The service was ok - eventhough they were obviously short staff - you have to call everything u need something - we ordered couple of plates and I can say the salad were excellent - however the pasta were below average- for a place that serves only pasta as his main dish, I do believe they need to work more on the taste. There was nothing outstanding in the experience- they only plus is their location which is on the main road. For next time, will definitely try another place - Ups I forgot to say that the food took too much time eventhough most of the tables were only drinking - the fresh bread though is very good

This is a classic Italian restaurant in Old Montreal which caters to both locals and tourists, and they have a great terrace facing the old port. The menu options are classic dishes like Fettucine Alfredo and Chicken Parmigiana.so nothing out of the box.however the quality of the food is very good and the portions are considerable (you will not walk away hungry). So the value is there.

We ordered Truffle Mushroom fettucine (very good), Seafood Tagliatelle (very good), Pomodoro Spaghetti (very tasty), Fettucine Alfredo (also very tasty), Caesar Salad (good with maybe a touch too much lemon) and cannoli for dessert (the ricotta filing was excellent).

Even short staffed we found the service to be very attentive and on-point. Enjoy!

Notre serveur était très sympathique. L’attente pour nos plats a été un peu longue, probablement car nous sommes arrivés tôt pour le dîner (11: 30) et que la cuisine était en démarrage. Le serveur s’est fait pardonner en nous offrant un dessert gratuit. Par contre il n’y a qu’une seule chaise d’enfant, qui était déjà prise par une autre famille.

The food itself is absolutely delicious. The pasta dishes are cooked perfectly al dente, with rich sauces and flavorful toppings that will make your taste buds sing. I would highly recommend Aqua E Farina to anyone looking for an incredible Italian dining experience.

Everything was fantastic! Cocktails were great, food was 10/10, tiramisu is a must. Cute restaurant with terrace located in the heart of old port.perfect for date night or dinner with friends. Highly recommend, can't go wrong with this spot.

Horrible service! Not sure if people with certain skin color are not welcome to this place. We waited over 45 mins after ordering food with still no food making its way to our table. This was after initially waiting for 15 mins to place the order and another 15 mins in the line up. We noticed many other customers who were seated along with us leaving after having their lunch and we were still not served. We also saw customers seated after us getting their orders. If certain people are not welcome, perhaps you should mention it before seating us and making us wait for an hour. We ended up just leaving without having our lunch after this horrible experience.

Such a great spot! Came here for dinner and drinks with a few friends and we loved it! The cocktails were amazing and the food was delicious. Our waitress and bartender, Kamiah and Trinity, were sweet, patient and gave great recommendations! Will definitely return.

Je n'ai pas de mauvais commentaires sur ce restaurant. Mon expérience était extraordinaire. Les serveurs, ainsi que le reste du personnel étaient serviables, souriants et gentils en tout temps. J'ai mangé le Osso Buco Milanese et mon copain a mangé le Tagliatelle aux fruits de mer. C'était tellement délicieux et les repas étaient préparés parfaitement à notre goût. Un restaurant incroyable et une expérience a revivre avec un plus grand nombre de personnes.

Merci beaucoup Aquafarina pour cette merveilleuse soirée et au plaisir de revoir tout le personnel qui m'a servi la prochaine fois!

I'm a big fan of Spaghetti Carbonara. I've tried dozens and dozens around the world, and today I've eaten the best of my life in this nice restaurant in the Old Port of Montréal. Made my day, Thank you!
