Tous ces délicieux, le service magnifique, Pour mon mari, retourner au restaurant c'était se remémorer de beaux moments.

Vraiment? 22$ jai commandé un Doner et un gâteau au fromage pour emporter. Rendu a la maison la déception, 3 tout petits morceaux de viande et le gâteau minuscule. De l arnaque! Passez votre chemin!

Ok so I just want to say that I've been going to this restaurant for the past 40 years. It's by far the best Arahova of the chains, plus one of the best Greek restaurants in Montreal at a very affordable price. 8,25$ for a Doner that is twice the size of any other doner in Montreal. Was my first time back since covid, and the food was AMAZING! I CHALLENGE YOU ALL TO FIND A BETTER PLACE! Service was great, place was very clean. Also the calamari was just amazing, melted in our mouth's. My pita was packed with meat and amazing tzatziki. They have the best tzatziki in Montreal. Hell it's even better then the tzatziki I had in Greece. I love this place. Thanks Arahova for the great food!

The food is very bad and for sure overpriced. Unfortunately I was super hungry and had a child with me so we couldn’t really leave hence why I stayed to eat the food. We were Served cold, less than average food. I ordered the chicken platter with Greek salad and roast potatoes and the chicken which both were cold. When I asked for it to be reheated (microwaved as it was originally) the waiter brought it back saying “I hope it’s better now. “ sure after you microwaved the hell out of it. Yes I’m sure it is hot.
Anyway we also ordered lentil soup (they managed to microwave it to the right temperature I guess) but it came late with the food even though it’s supposed to be coming first. And finally Our waiter kept forgetting parts of our order. Even till the very end. Unfortunately will not recommend this place. Save your money. P.s you might wanna fix your ladies bathroom (smelt bad and is leaking)

I'm a bit biased because of growing up and hanging around the my neighborhood when I was a young man. This Arahova location is by far the best. Also, Being the original location and just across the street from the Famous Saint-Viateur Bagel shop in the Mile-End area of Montreal. Great Souvlakis and Doners just like 40 years ago. The Doners here are my favorite, nobody seems to make Doners this way anymore and I've been eating them for about 40 years and they still taste the same. Anyhow, it's a must try for anyone that likes Greek food and you can pick up some great bagels across the street at the same time.

Very cozy restaurant. I like old fashion pita a lot! Easy parking and good food quality! I will come afin with my family for sure!

Selon moi il est le Meilleur des Arahova et font les meilleurs Souvlaki Pita de Montréal!

Exactly what I wanted, good greek food in a casual but nice restaurant. Proper Greek food including the potatoes. Chicken souvlaki was excellent. But more chicken would be good though.

Arahova is the classic Montreal souvlaki experience. You cannot beat it and you must not miss it

Souvlaki pita manquait de porc. Frites vraiment pas bonne. Salade ben ordinaire. Le tout manquait de sel et était pas mal cher.

Service was great - restaurant was quieter than expected - food was delicious & had enough to bring some home for another meal!

Average, nothing special but a quick and simple place to eat. They don't have air conditioning, but lots of windows.

Its not like it used to be.
Gyro plate was bland and average at best.
The meat was dry, old and had no flavor.
The greek salad came with tomatoes, onions, 2 olives and a small piece of feta.
No olive oil, no salt and no oregano.
They also figured you don't need any bread.
Overall, I ws quite disappointed and will not be ordering again.

The lamb was chewy and the portion was meagre.
A lot of fresh tomatoes though to compensate.
Service was sparse.
$50! For the two of us.
No tip.

Depuis que j'ai découvert ce restaurant sur Uber Eat je ne peux plus m'en passer. J'adore! Les portions sont super généreuses. Je recommande!

Quick easy take out! Great service!
Paid full price for everything no combos available: (sux! And the pita bread was hard, chicken was overcooked, tomatoes were just mush, I gave up halfway through eating.it’s been a while since I’ve been there for takeout to have my Pita on the side of the mountain!
I’m sure I’ll go back! It’s a tradition I hope it will be better next time

La qualité et les quantités (piquilia) ont diminuées mais l, 'atmosphère est toujours la même depuis 40 ans ouf que le temps passe vite.

Très bon et généreux sandwichs pitas, pour un prix raisonnable. Les patates rôties sont en fait bouillies, ce qui n’est pas fantastique. Les baklavas sont corrects. Le service est gentil, allez-y pour un bon sandwich pita simple et réconfortant.

We ordered plates with lamb and paid 5$ extra for it and they sent us pork only. Very disappointing and expensive for the food you get.

Had reservations for 930pm and we we rushed through. The food was good and fresh but the waiter we had was more interested in us leaving than serving. Didn't ask us for drinks or anything other than serving water.

Food is good, but not what it used to be. Large portion sizes, but the quality has diminished. Disappointed

What a fall from grace! Once the “go to” Greek restaurant in Montreal, today it’s a shell of its past. When I visited this past summer ordering was complicated, service was mediocre. Food was ok. And just to boot, water in the men’s washroom wasn’t working. How are they even able to stay open? This is my last visit to this once Montreal landmark.

Malheureusement la taramosalata n’est plus faite sur place. On vous sert un contenant industriel qui aurait peine à rivaliser avec des pomme de terre réhydraté

I've been coming to this location for 30 years. Sadly, the quality has been slowly diminishing, and it has reached a certain threshold: the meat in my souvlaki pita used to be more plentiful. The tomatoes in my pita and Greek salad could be more ripe.
, and the olive oil was practically non existent. Henceforth, I will be looking for a new Greek-style restaurant.

Best gyro in Montreal! They are wonderful and the staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend everything, but especially the old-fashioned style gyro.

I have been a costomer since the 80s. Lately, the quantity of taziki has been close to none in the pitas. At firs thought it was à one time thing, but after ordering a few times it seames to be the thing.

Will not got back. I would drive from south shore to get take out as the South shore is even cheaper on ingredients.

For the price you pay its not worth it for me anymore.

My GF and I are OBSESSED with this place. We come get food at least once a week. The food is amazing, and the staff are efficient and super friendly.
Calamari is perfect and Gyro a l'ancienne is to die for!

Tellement déçu de ma commande. La salade n’avais aucun goût (pour 14$) c’est un gros fail. En plus il manquait des articles.never again

Plutôt déçus de notre commande d'hier et très surprise car j'aimais bien la nourriture du Arahova. D'abord, nous commandons pour de la livraison 2 assiettes de brochettes d'agneau (avec salade et frites). Je demande de remplacer les frites dans un plat pour du riz et d'ajouter de la tzaziki en extra. Finalement, nous recevons nos plats sans ajustements, les frites sont molles et ne goûtent rien. La viande de brochette, quoique goûteuse, est plutôt sèche. La salade grecque n'a pas de saveur et est détrempée dans l'huile végétale. Nous avons des bouts de pain secs sans sans condiment. Le total: environ 60$ (excluant les frais Uber et le pourboire) car bien que les assiettes étaient de 20$ chacune incluant la salade et les frites, des frais supplémentaires de 8.00$ par repas ont été ajoutés, sans précisions. Supris puisque nous avions regardé le menu, nous contactons à nouveau l'établissement qui mentionne que les prix ne sont pas à jour, que ce sont des familles différentes qui ont les succursales. La réceptionniste a proposé un rabais de 5$ à notre prochaine visite. Bref, nous avons été très déçus de la nourriture, du service.

Arahova appeared in Montreal in 1971 and became one of the first Greek specialty restaurants. So if you want to try greek food in Montreal, this place is a must visit!

I really don't come here often but it's not a bad option for some comfort greek food at an affordable price and quick.

This is by far my favorite souvlaki spot whenever I come to Montreal! If I happen to be in town for longer than a weekend, I usually end up dining in or taking out more than once. The food is reminiscent of my grandmother’s cooking, the place has a homey cozy atmosphere and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. Make it a point to try their pork souvlaki, the chicken “spasti kota”, tzatziki, the lamb chops and I recommend you try their “kopanisti” dip. I have tried for years to bribe them for their recipe but with no luck! I guess they keep wanting me to come back ;) 5 stars all the way!

My parents went to Arahova on St-viateur on their first date in 1975. They fell in love them, and till this day, Arahova St- Viateur has given you 100 +1 reasons to fall in love. The best, the best ever. A taste of Greece at your doorstep

One of the best Greek food restaurants in Montreal! We moved away from Montreal years ago but we always come back to eat here whenever we can. Yummy!

Very good food. The service is friendly but it's also very slow. It took me a long time to get my food. It is not the best restaurant I've been to but it's okay.

The place is visibly run by the old geezers who hark back to a better time when Arahova was a favorite joint 50 + years ago.
The deserts and the fridge holding them date back to that epoch and so does the rest of the decor.
The food wasn't very fresh or good or healthy.
A few rather agitated or tired patrons in the restaurant.
The men's bathroom was ditch gusting and dirty with no running water. The floor was sticky with dirt.

Très mauvais serveur (Zakaria). Nourriture extrêmement cher pour ce que c'est. C'est bon correct mais sans plus et encore beaucoup trop cher. Décevant, surtout celui de Mtl.

Love this place! Good, honest souvlaki and Greek fare. It isn't fancy, but that is its charm. Great place to dine with kids and grandparents! I love the horta!

Small souvlaki pitas, flavor was ok I guess but not good compared to their places. I found a piece of the stick in my sandwich, good thing I found it and didn’t choke! Not worth the price I paid!

Nous avions beaucoup d'attente par le Arahova et nous avons été déçus. Nous avions pris un souvlaki au poulet et une pikilia. Malheureusement, la pikilia était plutôt fade et il y avait très peu de pain poir la manger. Les souvlakis étaient bien ordinaires, nous avons mangé de meilleurs assiettes ailleurs.

The old fashion gyro pita is really tasty. It's lamb and porc.the tzatziki is thick and garlicky.yummy. Big sandwich, I guess that's why it's 7.25$ plus tax. It's a little oily but still good. Would recommend.

Ordered takeout, and came home to some extremely disappointing food. I had requested my pitas be with no tomato and onion, and even confirmed with the server that I only wanted sauce on the pitas, but when I got home I had two somewhat cold pita, with lettuce and no sauce.really unimpressed with the accuracy.
