Wessley Wain is a class act. Walked in without an appointment, and he was accommodating throughout the entire process of purchasing a new vehicle. The car was spotless upon delivery, and the lead time was very reasonable (1-2 weeks for a compact suv). Solid experience!

The piece for my car was back ordered, as anything else in 2023, and Mr. Hocene called me practically every day to keep me posted. He tried his best to keep my mind at peace and did whatever was in his control to help speed up the repair. He was very human and kind.

I wish I could give this dealer a 10 star rating! We just received our ID. 4 after a lengthy wait and we are ecstatic! The entire process was such a pleasure thanks to our excellent and super friendly sales person Jean-Paul Aoun (JP). I would highly recommend you go see him if you want a superior car buying experience. He answered all my questions and addressed my concerns for over 1.5 years as we waited for the ID. 4 and trust me I had a lot of questions. This is my second car from Arbour VW and the experience has always been exceptional from sales to finance to the delivery of the car.
If you’re thinking about a VW, Arbour should be the first place you visit!

Dominic Hexaire est une personne qui donne un service extrêmement mauvais. Il juste prendre ton argent et temps avec 0 explicitation, et il ne se préoccupe pas de ses clients.
Tout le department de service doit avoir un gros changement parce que avec un service comme ça, je suis certain que il va ferme c’est porté bientôt.

Arbour Volkswagen has no class, respect or service. I would not sent my worst enemy to this dealer due to the painful service and returning your car to you with DAMAGE that you didn’t have before you dropped it off.

I was very satisfied with their service. It was very enjoyable working with Wessley since he was very professional and took his time to answer to all of my questions. I had requested a color that was hard to find and he still managed to get me what I wanted in such a short period of time. I definitely recommend going with him and his team. I’ve been buying cars every 2 to 3 years for the past 16 years. This is by far the worst buying experience I’ve had so far. I first got a pleasant service from Wesley on the phone. Then, I went there in person. I was greeted by Josee, who was cordial but had not even sent me nor given me the offer when I was there in person. Also, there was no demo of the car I was looking to buy. I had to go to another dealership to try it before making up my mind.

I decided to stay with Arbour because I appreciate the effort - even though the other car dealership is on my street (I’m in Montreal).

As for the credit check, Josee (the FNI) went forward with the credit approval over the phone.

None of the three individuals I just named disclosed that I would be required to pay 399$ + taxes for administration fees. I’ve never paid any fee for such a thing. None of the three individuals offered to send me the offer over email until I asked for it - a month after ordering the car. After requesting the offer, I discovered that they ordered the wrong vehicle (the interior car was different than what was promised) - but fortunately, Wesley was able to find a replacement that took an extra week to get at the dealer.

The day I went to the dealership to get my new car, I finally saw the “surprise fee”. My brother, a car salesman, told me it was illegal to charge such an amount. I’ve verified and confirmed that in the province of Quebec, it’s illegal to charge anything not presented in the ADVERTISED price over the internet or in other promotional publications. The only thing that is not required to be included in the advertised price of a product is the sales taxes. Small tiny legal writings are not considered advertising if they are not under the price presented on the website. In 2021, many dealerships were sued over this illegal practice. When I told the sales director (Daria) of my frustration with the lack of transparency, she has been extremely rude, suggesting I see another place. Since the pandemic, finding a car has been a hassle, and dealerships like VW are taking advantage of the situation to the detriment of the consumer, who already has to deal with a considerable interest rate increase, inflation, and lack of options. I didn’t have the choice but to get a car ASAP, because my car got stolen. Yet, Daria had 0 empathy and suggested I buy a car somewhere else, entirely disregarding the fact that I was not made aware at any point that I would be charged a considerable amount after signing all the papers that tied me to the car.

As it happened to Volkwagen Niquet for similar illegal practices, I will take the necessary steps to ensure that Arbour doesn’t get away with such a lack of transparency - and illegal charges.

Be aware of this dishonest dealership.

Loi 224c non-respectée - Chargent des frais d'administration de 399$

Selon l’article 224c de la Loi sur la protection du consommateur, les commerçants ne peuvent exiger pour un bien ou un service un prix supérieur à celui qui est annoncé. Le prix annoncé doit comprendre le TOTAL des sommes que le consommateur devra débourser pour l'obtention du bien ou du service.
(Sur le site de VW Canada, les montants en petits caractères ne comptent pas comme le prix total, puisqu'il est séparé du montant total du véhicule).

Toutefois, ce prix peut ne pas comprendre la taxe de vente du Québec ni la taxe sur les produits et services du Canada.

J'ai parlé à l'OPC et m'ont confirmés qu'il s'agit d'une pratique illégale.

Je tiens à remercier infiniment Christian pour son travail hors pair, son suivi, son professionnalisme et sa gentillesse.
Christian a su répondre à mes besoins très rapidement et je le remercie encore une fois.

Je suis allée au mois d'août 2022, faire une essaie pour GTI. Nous n'avions pas pris RV car nous sommes allés comme ça, voir si il y avait des voitures qu'ils n'avaient pas encore mis en ligne.

Nous rentrons au concessionnaire et je demande si ils ont des GTI usagés. Un vendeur accoté sur le comptoir les bras croisés, m'indique qu'ils en ont aussi des 2022. Je dit, merci mais je n'aime pas l'intérieur. Il me rétorque, (sic) Ouennnn.eux non plus, y t'aiment pas. Nous somme comme stupéfait de son commentaire. Il dit par la suite.: Ben, non, s'tune joke. ‍️

À partir de ce moment.c'était SÛR et CERTAIN que je n'achèterais pas de véhicule là-bas.

Laisse tes bras croisés, mon chum. Tu vas en vendre des chars avec ton humour qui ne fait définitivement pas l'unanimité.
