Amazing colourful and delicious vegan food. Generous portions and warm service! I have gone for brunch a couple times. Would 100% recommend

My new favorite vegan place in town, both brunch and dinner surprised me with their unique flavors. Elevated vegan cuisine at an affordable price, great drink menu and service.

On est venu pour bruncher à 5 personnes, les plats étaient très bons mais les prix sont assez élevés par rapport à la quantité, par exemple dans le menu brunch, le sandwich déjeuner à 16 dollars vient seul, les patates sont un supplément de 4 dollars. Le personnel est super sympa.
Mais mon chai latte n'avait presque pas de goût. Bonne expérience, mais un peu déçue sur certains points.

The service and atmosphere here were excellent, but the food I ordered was not great.

I had the Baklava Pancakes which had a thick, heavy texture and the flavours didn’t mix well. I also had the Chicken & Waffles, and although the mock chicken was good, the polenta waffles were very grainy. The chai latte I ordered tasted like flavoured water.

These dishes were recommended to me by my server. I love supporting all vegan restaurants and I was really looking forward to coming based on previous reviews, but unfortunately this was a disappointing brunch experience overall.

Ça fait deux fois que je viens ici en peu de temps et j'adore l'endroit. Autant pour le brunch qu'à l'heure du souper, le menu est original et savoureux, tout ça dans une ambiance cute et fancy.

Génial. Une superbe découverte. Je recommande. Service impeccable avec un beau sourire. Nous reviendrons bientôt!

Les plats sont très goûteux, colorés, nourrissants et originaux. Les combinaisons de saveurs sont vraiment intéressantes. Super endroit à découvrir!

A great vegan brunch spot with warm service and atmosphere.

Located in up and coming Verdun Montreal area, archway is accessible via metro (5 mins walk) and also have lots of street parking available.

Archway has a great ambiance with lots of natural light, and airy space. They offered a lot of variety cuisines ranging from brunch, Asian and Italian inspired.

We ordered the dumplings, kale caesar salad, faux egg Benedict, and the pancakes. The flavours were layered, with a lot of depth. To our surprise, the plant poached egg really looked like the real deal. So we get to experience that runny yolk texture but vegan. Small note, the pancakes were a little bit on the dense side but still quite tasty.

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the food and looking forward to trying their dinner menu!

One of the first restaurants as you walk towards the commercial part of the famous Wellington Street.

One of my best vegan food experiences with the Bao-bab (Korean style spicy jackfruit and a vegan poached egg (what?). It tasted amazing and I can't wait to come back to try other such dishes. Perhaps Baklava pancakes next time!

Service was cheerful, the restaurant is very insta worthy, and the toilets are clean and wheelchair accessible.

A bright and airy resto in hot and happening Wellington (voted Timeout's most trendy neighborhood in 2022.cool!), which is perfect for a cozy brunch on a cold winter's day.
Archway offers unique twists on brunch like poached pear and ginger syrup waffles or a fattoush breakfast plate with quinoa and massaged kale. They also have vegan and/or gluten-free options for those healthy eaters.

This restaurant is quite popular for brunch but they take reservations so call in advance to hold a spot.

Friendly service and food that is truly different. The menu has been updated so I had pears on a waffle with ice cream just because. Recommended even if you are a carnivore!

Only tried their smoothies so far and they were great! A bit on the pricier side but would try again to give the rest of the menu a shot.

A delight for the vegan option. All tastes will enjoy the fantastic culinary experiences you will find here. Brunch till 4 and the mimosas are beyond to die for.

Vraiment sympa comme place, la bouffe est vraiment recherché et travaillé, pas du simple beyond meat ou autre. Très bon et service au top! Je reviendrais pour goûter les autres plats.

Wonderful & bright vegan restaurant with delightful, very informed & engaging server. Menu was diverse, fun & delicious. I am not vegan, but really enjoyed my meal with two friends!

Nous avons adoré tout ce que nous avons mangé! Les frites de tofu sont excellentes et les cœurs d’artichaut sont délicieux. J’ai bien aimé le steak de maitake. La sauce thaï épicée est parfaite avec ce champignon. Les portions sont bonnes. On s’est laissé tenter par le brownie! C’était incroyablement délicieux. Le Chaï latté était petit mais très bon. La serveuse était super gentille et on a reçu nos assiettes rapidement. Je recommande ce restaurant même si vous n’êtes pas vegan.

Immaculate food with the vibes to match. Everything from the water, to the coffee, to the food was incredible. Unique flavors with a twist on traditional breakfast items. Service was fast and friendly. This place is a must visit.

Nous ne sommes pas vegan mais comme le brunch est ouvert tard (jusqu’à 16h) nous voulions tester. Les plats sont super esthétique et instagrammable. Ils sont bon mais la viande « végétal » est un peu écoeurante et les pancakes sont un peu farineux bizarre. Le service est correct. Nous étions déçu … surtout que l’endroit est très jolie. Un peu chère aussi …

Excellent service, qu'on soit vegan ou non on se laisse volontiers tenter par les nombreux bons plats que le archway nous propose.

Appealing destination for week-end's brunches. They offer 5-6 different options for the morning menu. You can have a sandwich that includes a homemade plant-based egg & bacon, impossible patty, violife cheese that is slightly greasy but also very satisfying. Croissants, burittos, bagels, smoothies are other options that can be ordered. Portions are a bit small. I'd have wished a larger quantity of food in what I ordered. #vegan #animal cruelty-free

J'y suis allée plusieurs fois et je ne suis jamais déçue! Les cœurs de palmiers façon ceviche sont incroyables! Il faut absolument essayer le baklava martini et leur burger du moment aux champignons!

Les 2 serveurs étaient très souriants et très disponibles, les plats sont raffinés et délicieux. Toute la carte est disponible en sans gluten.

Nous reviendrons!

Archway is an interesting restaurant. Its always good to see new vegan options in Montreal. The food is delicious and the service was friendly. My only critique with this place are the prices to portion ratio. It is incredibly expensive for small portions that you get. Perhaps if they could streamline their menu to bring the prices down, I dont know. I'm sure this place would make a killing if it were just a bit more affordable.

I`ll go back again anyway. Its a great place to explore what can be done with vegan food, and a great option for a fancy date night. Just not for casuals.

BON' BEAU, DÉLICIEUX, DE BON GOUT, ETC.
Je m'y suis arrêtée sur mon chemin de retour, à pied, vers l'ile des sœurs, après être allée chez Videotron, à Verdun. à pied. Toute une expérience et un plaisir, depuis l'adorable et attentif serveur, jusqu'aux toilettes magnifiques, les vraies (en tissu) et belles serviettes de table sur la terrasse, la belle vaisselle et, bien évidemment, cette salade DIVINE que j'ai mangée. Et tout cela à un prix raisonnable. Je ne me souviens pas avoir mangé une aussi bonne et copieuse salade faite que d'ingrédients de qualité (pas de salade Iceberg! Ni de salade Boston pour remplir l'assiette!). Il va falloir que j'y retourne pour essayer les autres salades.
En revanche, le verre de vin n'était pas terrible et à peine rempli! Un peu cher à mon avis. La prochaine fois je prendrai un smoothie.

My first vegan experience was awesome! Very nice waiter, daffodil cocktail was tasty, baklava could use some work though.

L’endroit par excellence pour moi et mon copain! Nous ne sommes pas Vegan et pourtant nous avons des cravings du Archway Toujours bien reçu, le menu est excellant, style gastronomique vegan, et que dire des Drinks WOW, le baklava martini à essayer, et le mimosa pour les brunchs. Ne sous-estimer certainement pas les frites de tofu, avec leur sauce décadente. Il y a souvent des nouveautés, toujours autant originales (du bacon vegan, œuf tourné vegan, qui l’aurait cru). C’est plaisant de savoir qu’on peut manger d’une façon autant savoureuse tout en mangeant vivant. L’été approche et je compte bien profiter de la terrasse. Je recommande à tous, vegan ou non vegan.:)

Très belle expérience autant du côté service et de la nourriture. Sans compté le bacon qui était succulent!

Magnifique découverte! L'endroit est magnifique et tellement d'options sans gluten c'était incroyable. La nourriture était divine! Le bacon végétal a tombé par terre, le sandwich déjeuner BLT vaut le détour.

Très beau restaurant, équipe super sympathique et la nourriture est délicieuse! Goûtez les dumplings et les nouilles Udon: un vrai régal! Et en dessert le fameux brownie!

Plats véganes réconfortants, bonne bouffe et excellent service. Je me suis régalée avec le Maitake style thaï.

When I find a place that makes great plant-based food and makes me feel welcome, I always go back for more. Archway isn't one of those places.

I came here for the first time on a Sunday, a little before 1: 00 p.m. (The restaurant's opening hours are limited, so it was always closed when I tried to stop by in the past.)

The cashier was so busy handling delivery orders that I felt like I was disturbing her when I came up to the counter. She looked too stressed to smile. I felt bad for her.

I ordered the teriyaki konjak noodle bowl. It was pricy ($19 plus tax and tip), but at least it made for two meals.

It tasted okay, but it was 90% noodles. The mushrooms were hella tough, the veggies were scarce, and the sauce was way too watery. I was expecting something more professional for the price. If I had wanted a heap of noodles I'd have cooked them at home for a fraction of the price.

Maybe I just got unlucky, and they were having an exceptionally busy day. Maybe the cook was new. Either way, I'm going to give this place a second shot and try a different menu item on a different day of the week. I'll update my review when I do.

I tried the Cuban burger. It was good! I'm glad I gave this place a second shot.

The Southwest Chili and Thaï Crunch salad bowls are a strange combination of ingredients that don't really go well together. I'm not too sure what to make of the taste.

The Havana Baby bowl was DELICIOUS, and so were the off-menu tofu tacos.

April 2022 update:
The menu has changed so much since my last visit! A friend and I split four starters like tapas, and they were DELICIOUS!

Service impeccable, et bcp de choix au niveau du menu (contrairement à d’autres resto vegan). Frites de tofu, artichaut grillés, bao = un régal! Et que dire de la sélection des vins

Ce restaurant est un mélange entre raffinements et saveurs. Un vrai beau restaurant vegan comme on voudrait en voir plus!

Un des meilleurs endroits à Montréal pour aller bruncher! Les burritos, "oeufs" bénédictine et les sandwichs déjeuner sont incroyablement bon!

Et j'ai toujours eu un bon service! Merci!

Nothing bad at all to say. The service was fast and welcoming and the food was exquisite (first time I tasted vegan ham and it was like the real thing). Smooth ambience as well. I am making this restaurant a new favorite.

Le service est vraiment excellent! Pour les repas, les pancakes étaient délicieuses, les gaufres manquaient de goût et c’était sec, et je ne suis pas une fan de leur “baycon”… tout de même une bonne expérience!

-The issue was not the wrong order, it was the terrible service. I spoke to you in person so there is no need for me to send you an email, you know exactly who I am and what happened.

-Saying you changed how you cut the lobster is disingenuous and simply not true. My friend picked through her sandwich looking for any traces and the portion was laughable. Literally 3 small pieces the size of a fingernail. Unless they are cut so small that they have become invisible, you are now charging 21$ for a croissant with some pesto, tofu scramble and a tbsp of vegan lobster. Cringe.

Went for brunch today and my friend and I were pretty disappointed. I wasn't offered sugar or milk for my Americano and had to wait a good 5 minutes for a staff member to come by, then she brought it to me without a spoon. Annoying but not the end of the world.

Then they brought me the wrong order. I clearly ordered the breakfast burrito and she brought me the breakfast sandwich. We even discussed whether or not I wanted bacon as an extra, she said it was included and I reopened the menu and said "oh like I thought, its an extra but I see there is chorizo inside so never mind. " Even if she missed the order, the fact that I was mentioning all these extra details should have signaled to her that we were talking about different dishes. Again, annoying but mistakes happen, not the end of the world except that she came back to the table with the plate to insist that I had ordered the sandwich and to argue with me. I definitely stated my order clearly and I was surprised at the way she was speaking to me. I insisted on having ordered the burrito and she just abruptly walked away. After like 8 minutes the owner came to offer me the potatoes so I had something to eat while I waited. Incidentally they are a 4$ extra so I guess the waitress was going to charge me that without even asking.

My friend was disappointed with her food, 21$ for the egg and crab (actually lobster in the menu description) croissant is very expensive, the last time she came the serving was much bigger and there was much more lobster inside.

The waitress did not thank us or say anything when we finished paying, she just put the bills on the table and walked away silently. Terrible attitude and poor service. The owner was nice and I know there is a staff shortage and food prices are through the roof but that waitress is ruining her business, we won't be back because of her. And it's important for the food to be consistent in serving size so that customers are not disappointed.

I wish this restaurant the best and wish that our experience had been better.

Excellent service, plats délicieux! Je croyais que j’allais m’ennuyer du tartare de betterave et du burger cubain au fruit du jaquier qui ne sont plus sur le menu, mais finalement, le ceviche qui est sur le nouveau est tout aussi délicieux! Je salive juste à y penser!
