Very good skating rinks and other physical activities like swimming, basketball and so on. Adequate parking available.

Unfortunately the rink has fallen into disrepair when it should have been fixed over the summer months. Net result is that no hockey can be played there reducing the number of t/rinks available to Lakeshore to 1 (Kirkland). Poor planning on the party of the City of Beaconsfield. This is the main reason for the rating.
Other facilities are in better condition kept up regularly (ex.the city repainted the pool at least once in the last few years).

Lap swims in early weekday afternoons are pretty full, but if you go in the last half hour you can usually find a space.
Pool could use a cleaning (every early fall) and locker rooms, showers are basic, but useful.

We are not residents and the website schedule is clear and up to date for 'public skating'. I also called to make sure they were open and the person was very helpful.
The front desk was nice and also very helpful + the locker rooms were clean. Everything was well identified.
It was our first visit and my son (teen) enjoyed the 50 minutes we had. He wanted to test out his new skates and was satisfied of our visit! Definitely a pleasant!
