Personnelle très gentil chambre propre mais très petite pas de frigo salle de bain pas de comptoir de rangement porte de la salle de bain en vitre non transparent mais quand tu vas à la toilette ça éclaire tout la chambre
Le bruit du bar en dessous, pas beaucoup d'isolation notre chambre était proche de la réception et tu vois la lumière en-dessous de la porte
Très proche de tout mais pas de stationnement il faut stationner à l'hôtel de ville un stationnement payant à 5 minutes à pied
Je nie retournerais pas

This place is in the center of old-Quebec and is a wonderful place to stay. It's description as "quaint and hip" is accurate. The rooms have been updated and are comfortable albeit smaller than ones you'd find in the U. S. Still, they retain their old world charm. The walk-in shower is very modern and nice and large enough to accommodate and extra-extra-large (XXL) bather. Many walking tours and the hop-on; hop-off bus tour begin within 100ft of the front door. The Hotel Frontenac is across the street as well as a view of the lower city. The funicular is there as well.
They don't have parking but an underground parking garage is just around the corner and the prices are reasonable. Also, everyone speaks passable English if, like me, you don't speak French. There are a multitude of restaurants within a 5-minute walk. I would gladly return to this property. Just be aware that construction and road repair are in full swing during the warmer months. You'll need to park your car and walk most places. But there's plenty to do within walking distance.

Very good location and very clean room. The room is a little small but everything else is wonderful. The staffs are really friendly and helpful too

We only went to the restaurant and we had a good time. Service was not great but the food was good. We had some pizza, salad, and sangria. The view and the atmosphere were great. I'll come back!

Les draps humides et tachés du canapé lit. Inconfort du dit matelas. Lavabo a moitié bouché. L'hotel devait nous recontacter après avoir signalé tout cela. Ils ne l'ont jamais fait! Il leur importait beaucoup de savoir comment nous avions réservé et où nous allions laissé un avis négatif! C'est bien dommage. Mauvais rapport qualité prix malgré le bon emplacement.

Worth the splurge! We stayed a couple nights elsewhere and one final night here, and it made the entire trip! Comfy beds, stunning view, ultimate location - directly across the park from Château Frontenac and next door to the artist alleyway where we picked up some beautiful souvenirs from truly amazing and humble artists.
The only negative piece to our stay was that the perfect room we had was direcrly opposite reception and other guests don't tend to consider their volume coming in at late hours, full volume conversations and laughter happening directly outside our door at 1am. NOT the hotel's fault, but something to prepare for when booking the king rooms that face the château.
All the same, treat yourself, you won't regret it!

If you can't stay at the Frontenac, come to the Auberg du Tresor, we faced the square and the room, although small, had everything we needed. Excellent choice.

Super bien situé. Pièces spacieuses mais manque explication sur fonctionnement de la climatisation. Dommage que nous voyons personne à l arrivée.

The plus side of the hotel is the location. The room wasn’t noisy, even though it is above a bar, and the staff were professional. However, the room lacked the little things that make a stay more comfortable such as a kettle/coffee machine and a bedside table on both sides of the bed. There is an odd arrangement of getting complementary coffee between eight and noon, but not later.

Fantastic 1 night stay with clean and spacious room. We were in room 24 facing the garden, liked the view and being in the centre of all activities. Super close walk to everything, especially with a restaurant right down stairs (had a nice meal there). Actually not as loud as some reviews mentioned, I can hear garbage truck and cars, etc.but thats just the location of it. The shower was nice, beds are comfortable. Fresh coffee in the morning. The walls are a little thin, you can hear the room above and beside you. But didn’t bother us that much. There is no parking on site, the closest one is the city of Quebec parking, 2 minute walk from there and about $17 for one overnight parking. Was convenient. Overall a great stay!

Très bel Hôtel. Le Bâtiment est ancien, très bien entretenu, les chambres sont de bonne facture. Excellent emplacement, en face du château Frontenac, au cœur de la vieille ville. La ville basse est facilement accessible à pied, ou par le funiculaire, à deux pas de l'hotel

Great little boutique hotel in the heart of old Quebec city, clean rooms with a very comfortable bed. Great value for where you are, I would definitely stay again

The hotel initially impresses with its excellent location in the old town of Québec and the outer shell of this beautiful architectural monument. The disappointment is all the greater when, instead of the booked "comfort double room with 20 square meters and, among other things, a desk", you get a significantly smaller room with only a round miniature table. In the tiny bathroom, toiletries can only be placed on top of the toilet flush lid. This is unworthy of a 4* hotel.
Conclusion: poor price/performance ratio; I cannot recommend this hotel under any circumstances!

Big disappointment, stay away from this hotel. For 150 euros per night you get a room with a view of a mini ventilation shaft. It's dark, oppressive and it's booming all the time. By the way, the hotel calls it a comfort room. Worst hotel of our entire trip to Canada

L'hôtel est très sympa et propre, idéalement placé dans Québec. Seul problème, au moment de la réservation, les prix affichés étaient de 186$, j'ai donc réservé à travers Expédia pour 170$. Puis, à notre arrivée, nous avons dû payer 135$ (qui nous ont été remboursés après que j'ai montré le prélèvement sur mon compte). Nous avons donc passé la nuit dans une chambre à 135$ pour 170$, avec comme réponse de la réception que les prix varient selon le moment de la réservation. Nous avons donc été pénalisés pour avoir réservé à l'avance.

Lovely inn located in the heart of Old Quebec. Very nice decor in and out. Friendly staff, complementary coffee. The 1640 Restaurant was very nice as well. The specialty of the house, the beef jowls, were delicious. Extensive wine list as well. Highly recommended.
