Auberge St. Jacques

Overall a good experience. Rooms were neat + clean and so the washrooms. Good amount of parking spots for the guests. Customer service was also great. Visited Montreal for the first time and the night staff (lady) + day staff (lady), both were very welcoming and explained properly whatever they know when I asked about nearby places. Bus stand was just outside the hotel. It should not be 2 star hotel but 3 or 4.

Overall a really great hotel with a large parking lot, if you don't needa live really close to downtown this would be a great location and totally worth the money!

Wanted.to book this hotel, website is horrible, no pictures of the rooms and amenities.who books blindly? Wow.perhaps fixing your website will get.you more business.

Called for some information and the per that answered the phone was very rude and and disrespectful when I asked her to repeat something because I didn't hear her very well. Before I could get another word in she hanged up on me. I will never ever spend my money in a place like that.

Very comfortable beds and showers. Fast internet.

This place is just to shower and sleep. It was freezing and I had to walk to the front desk for the iron and the ironing board. For somewhere that's cold in winter you would think they would have a coffee pot or something for you to make tea in the room, they don't. Had a non smoking room that definitely smell like smoke as soon as I opened the door.

Personal attention, very friendly! Affordable prices, very clean, not annoying staff, great supplementary services on site like sauna, pool, etc. (with preliminary booking).

Fantastic stay at this hotel! The room was very large and had a fully functioning TV and a huge bathroom. Only fault was the beds were probably on their way to the trash very soon but were comfortable all the same

Cette petite auberge, est un endroit sécuritaire, très propre, chaleureuse, bien tenue, moi et ma conjointe étions TRÈS satisfait de la nuit passé a cette auberge, pour mon rendez-vous médical du lendemain a MCGILL. JE RECOMMANDE très FORTEMENT cette auberge, il y a tout ce que vous avez besoin pour un séjour agréable.

Superbe petit hôtel. J’ai adoré la propreté de la chambre et de la salle de bain, la gentillesse des personnes à l’accueil et leur disponibilité.
La climatisation était appréciée lors de notre séjour où la température était caniculaire. Très calme, séjour à la mi septembre, proche de tout. Beaucoup de restaurants et boulangeries aux alentours à distance de marche.

It was a lovely staying! The hotel is super clean, rooms are modern and nicely decorated. Also, they provide hairdryer, flat iron, kettle. Staff very friendly and helpful. A fridge, TV and air-condition are in each room. The area is good, and public transport is right at the corner. I highly recommend this place for a long vacation or an overnight staying.

Nice clean room except for the weird bed frame that hit me in my knee three times in the first thirty minutes of our stay. They also have a very friendly cat supurrvisor and staff.

Auberge qui mérite un 5 étoiles pour la propreté, la qualité des chambres est vraiment très bien. Les salles de bains sont très bien aménagées. Nous y dormons très très bien. Il ne va sans dire que la gentillesse du personnel est exceptionnelle! Je le recommande a tous!

Super Accueil.

Good: it's clean. It does the job of being a place to rest when you come back from your day-long adventures. It has enough channels to keep you occupied if it's a heavy rainy day in both french and English. The place is located right in front of a bus stop that takes you to Centreville. If you explore a bit, un marché is near and some café can be found within a 15 minutes walk.

Bad: i could hear everything! I mean, my neighbors were getting down and dirty and hitting the side of MY bed. You could hear your neighbors showering and (muffled) talking sometimes. I could not sleep the first night until one neighbor left. Basically, the walls are thin.

What a great stay. Very chic and modern. Freshly remodeled. The area seemed scetchy, but we had no issues. Won't suggest staying here if you have any walking/stepping issues. Each room has a strp up into it and the tubs have very high sides. Will definitely stay again.

It was a wonderful experience, Very friendly staff, everything thing working, I almost turned back first day first time for fear of insecurities but it's non existent. I spent four nights and I did enjoyed my stay

Clean but very basic, can't lock the doors from the inside, no comfy chair, no coffee, heater sounds like a bulldozer coming through the wall, shampoo sachets that don't open without a cutting tool (amazing), and I know you can only do so much about that but a spider coming out of my pillow case wasn't a great first impression either.

I stayed a week there years ago. 22 to be exact. Left a lasting memory.would recommend and would definitely return.

Toujours bien. Propre stationnement en masse les employés sont super surtout si tu arrive très tôt y te font le café. Sinon très propre.si ta besoin d'une chambre penard pas chère avec tout commodités pour une chambres ses très bien!

Endroit bruyant (tout le monde claque les portes jour et nuit) et nous entendons les conduites eau + fan des autres chambres. Air clim/chauffage/fan de la chambre fait un vacarme.

Endroit très propre par contre rien a dire a ce niveau. Lit passablement comfortable on dort bien mais ne vous attendez pas au luxe. Endroit rénové donc agréable d'y être. Couleurs éclatantes comme décorations assez dynamique.

Dépôt de sécurité remboursé super rapidement après le depeart, j'ai obtenu serviettes supplémentaires gratuitement a ma demande. Je recommande seulement si une soirée loin de vos problemes vous tente n'allez pas là bas dans le but de vous détendre (il y a plus calme et confortable ailleurs)

Chambre fumeurs sélectionnées gros avantage pour les fumeurs. Petit frigo SEULEMEMT aucune assiette ou ustensiles verres en plastique dispo.

Somme toute j'ai apprécié mon expérience 380$ deux nuits.vraiment trop cher.surtout que quand je retarifies je peux avoir pour 150$ moins cher mais on ne veut pas accomoder prix, réservation faite avec Booking.com.

Stayed here for a night. Nice place to stay not to far from Downtown. Free parking and wifi. Good price and clean.

Propre et abordable. J'ai pris la chambre avec bain à remous, le lit est confortable. Plusieurs commodités, Wi-Fi, frigo, micro-onde, télévision avec le câble. Je le recommande.

This was our second time staying at Auberge St. Jacques, and we have been pleased with our stay every time.

It’s a nice location, close to the highway and a short walk to the metro.

Check-in was speedy, and the receptionist was friendly. They were very accommodating to our request to park our car before check-in and after check-out.

The room was squeaky clean, and very well equipped for all our needs. The bed was comfy and the room was nice and warm.

The price was very affordable, and we got very good value for money.

The hotel’s mascot, a beautiful, large cat was a delightful sight to behold, and was a nice added touch to our stay. He was very friendly and very fluffy.

We highly recommend Auberge St. Jacques for travellers on a budget looking for comfy, cozy, accommodations.

So on the outside it looks less than ok but the rooms were basically brand new on the inside. The water pressure couldn't have been better! Very nice staff.

This hotel was perfect for our stay in Montreal! The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our late check in, and we found the room and bathroom to be incredibly clean and tidy. Everything here was great, we definitely recommend for your next stay in Montreal!

The beds were very comfortable and the room was immaculate. The shower had the strongest water pressure that I've ever experienced. The clerk was very helpful and courteous.

Overall good experience here. It was cheap and clean, that was what we were looking for. Staff was friendly. I went with my fiancee and it was a great way to spend 2 nights in Montreal without have to break the wallet while still being comfortable. Would recommend

It was past midnight and noticed this motel on our way. The staff was awesome and accomodated us immediately with our 5 yo daughter. She talked about cleanliness! I can say the room was freshly renovated and very clean. Excellent service and fresh morning coffee is extra.

The room was pleasant, very clean and the staff was more than helpful. I had a reduction because I needed to stay because I had early tests at the Jewish General Hospital. They did have a smoking room which was A+ for me.

Very friendly and nice staff. Rooms are clean and look freshly renovated. Very comfortable mattresses, lots of electric plugs inside the room.
Room was non-smoking but we smell strong cigarette smoke. After some time we adjusted to the smell, but our daughter complained. I cannot charge my car using wall plugs outside because they are not grounded. Only one is grounded beside office and the was very nice to allow me to use it. Overall it was a very good stay.

I’ve been a regular customer here for the past 3 years and I went back recently in the summer and the service was horrible especially by the night lady me and my boyfriend were treated bad and enough to not go back again

Great for a quickie, they require a huge deposit but if you didn't smoke in the room or broke something you'll get it back for sure

It was splebdid stay. The staff was so polite and helpful. The room and washroom were clean and tidy. Beds were organized properly. Only problem was wifi as It was slow like turtle but what can you expect in$136.

Squeaky clean, good-smelling, gorgeous modern rooms. Perfect for pictures! Amazing staff, kind and courteous. Free high-speed internet, and there's always parking available. Smoking rooms available as well. Best motel in Montreal, at the most incredible prices.

Employees au comptoir manquent d'education et de politesse, elles comprennent a peine la langue, chambres tres sales, mal insonoriser. Je vous le deconseille. Au prix payer, vous pouvez trouver mieux que ca.

Very happy with the room. I went to "higher end" hotels during my visit to Montreal and I enjoyed this location the most! I will be returning.

One of the cleanest place I've visited that are for its incredible price. The staff are great and are there to answer any question you might have. The motel and the rooms are very clean and cozy. It's the one place you should stay at when you're visiting Montreal, or if you just want to relax. Oh, and don't forget that they have a russian Sauna.it's the best. I almost forgot one of the most important points.the security of the motel is amazing. Jacques is the one keeping the place safe. There's no one else like him. And he's the cutest cat. 10/10. I'm a happy customer and will def come back.

I had the pleasure of staying in this hotel for a full month, and boy, I can't even describe how amazing the experience was.the staff (cleaners, receptionists) were always asking if everything was okay, if there was anything I needed. I really felt like home. The place is cleaner than most 5* hotels I've visited.it's extremely cheap for the cleanliness, great hospitality and customer service they provide. I would recommend this 10000%. Will be coming back for sure!

As a redeployed health care worker, during the COVID-19 outbreak, I was provided a room at this Auberge by my employer to protect a family member. My room is clean and comfortable. I am pleased and thankful.

J'habite dans le Nord et je doit louer un Motel quand je vais visiter mes fils a Montréal. J'ai louer une chambre et j'ai informé a l'accueil que je savais pas pour combien de temps.
A Chaque matin j'allais payer ma chambre et après 5 jours ils m'ont dit que je ne pouvais pu rester car la chambre étais réservé malgré que je leurs avais dit je sais pas combien de temps. Je leurs ai demander une autre chambre et elle m'a dit "non son toute réservé"
Es ce normal de réservé la chambre a quelqu'un d'autre pendant qu'elle es déjà louer. A vous de juger

This was not some old dusty motel. It was spacious, clean, and clearly renovated. Great staff and reasonably priced.

Great stay. The hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly. The rates are excellent. The room we stayed in was very well taken care of. It appears that this hotel has recently been renovated from top to bottom. Parking was free and plentiful.

Accueil un peu froid derrière une vitre, il faut laisser un deposit de 100 dollars, pas de petit déjeuner sur place, nous n'avons pas vu le café offert qui était annoncé dans la réservation. Dans la chambre, 2 lits doubles et 1 lit supplémentaire, 1 micro onde et 1 petit réfrigérateur. Les matelas sont moyens mais surtout c'est très mal insonorisé, on entend les occupants des chambres voisines comme s'ils étaient avec nous. Un parking est dispo devant le motel gratuitement. Des supermarchés et fast food sont à proximité.

Endroit malfamé qui tombe en ruine ni un endroit familial ni pour relaxer qui vols les dépôts de garantie surtout ni allez pas!

Propre, prix abordable, bien situé pour le transport en commun, c'est un excellent rapport qualité prix. En plus, l'auberge offre un tarif spécial pour les clients du CUSUM. Toutefois, les restaurants, dépanneurs ou épiceries sont rares à proximité de l'auberge.

C'était ma première visite, la propriétaire nous à accueilli avec un grand sourire elle était très gentille, la chambre était très propre, j'ai eu une belle salle de bain avec une belle beignoire profonde, le lit était très bien et ma chambre était jolie ️ nous avions un climatiseur, un mini frigo et un téléviseur en plus du wifi gratuit qui avait un bon signal c'est clair que je vais y retourner ️

Looks can be deceiving! The rooms at this Motel are actually relatively nice! Some even offer Jacuzzis in the room and a complimentary bottle of bubbly lol. Peace out and Pay It Forward everyone!

The staff or owners are crooks, they take a deposit and then give a lame excuse like a towel was found on the floor and dont give back your deposit. Horrible and mean demeanor from staff. Dont go there.

Clean and lots of parking although the room had a faint smell of cigarettes. So that is why I gave it 4 stars.

This was a non smoking room.

Room was redone. Clean. Floor is uneven. Run down area. Overflowing parking and lady working night shift talking on her cellphone while smoking was very rude. I ended up parking in miss. Room tv guide advertises tv channels that room does not receive. Internet speed was 0.4mb download and 0.2 mb upload. Couldnt even sign on to check the sports score or fb. We weren't expecting much, but parking and internet were important. Wouldnt stay here again.

I BOOKED 2 ROOMS May 24 and AC wasnt working in one of the rooms. I went to reception if they can change my room or fix AC because it was hot in the room and her answer was just open the windows. She was rude and said no we xannot do anything. Is this service you offer?

Worse reservation experience. They indicate they can cater to kids from 0 to 10. Turns out they have no crib. And when you try to cancel a minute after reserving, and 3 months before the actual date, they simply won't hear you out. Not helpful. C'mon, 3 months from now, are you really scared you won't book that room to someone else? Well, now you have a room hat will be empty and a very unsatisfied customer!
