Really nice place, and the risotto was quite good. They dont have many options for people with a plant based diet, though. The only dish that could be made vegan was the risotto, and I had to omit the hazelnuts cause I'm allergic.

Nos attentes étaient élevées alors probablement que cela a teinté notre appréciation mais nous avons été déçu de notre repas.

En entrée, nous avons partagé le gravelax qui était correct. Il n’était pas très goûteux. En plat principal, nous avons commandé le tartare de bœuf. Le goût était correct, et la présentation n’était pas à la hauteur: en galette plate de la grandeur du centre de notre assiette et soupoudré d’une couche style nouilles frites très fines. Il y en avait beaucoup trop (de nouilles) et la présentation n’était pas raffinée, ni appétissante.

Le service n’était pas non plus digne de ce à quoi on aurait pu s’attendre pour le niveau de service d’un restaurant dans un Fairmont, le Château Montebello qui plus est. Notre serveur était négligé et n’était pas très attentionné.

Déception pour un repas à 300$ pour deux personnes.

We were in the Mont Tremblant area and wanted to go to the hotel to look around and enjoy a nice meal. The restaurant is in the Fairmont and is beautiful inside but also has stunning views to the lake.

We started with the onion potato bread which was great; then had the onion soup which was also good and the steak and fries which were perfect.

Overall good quality food, good portions and great flavor in a wonderful ambiance

Attentive service, great decor. Very much carries the spirit of the wooden hotel. Halibut steak and fish soup were exemplary, the rest- well, oh-kay. Gave 3 stars for atmosphere because of excessive noise, we were seated next to a big table with a very noisy group. I will absolutely make sure to be seated away from big noisy groups.

Insultant, un hamburger de bas niveau à 30S! Pourtant un descriptif alléchant:
Fromage Tête à Papineau, morceau si petit et si mince qu'il fallait le chercher;
sauce aigre douce quasi absente; deux petites tranches de tomate …cerise! ; une petite croquette de bœuf sèche et peu appétissante. De plus, choix de frites (congelées) OU de salade, 6S de plus si je veux un peu de chaque, le tout accompagné d'une banale mayonnaise (ni maison ni assaisonnée!)
Le personnel était sympathique mais quelle honte de servir un plat si banalement présenté d'autant qu'à quelques pas le Bistro de Montebello offre un hamburger nettement supérieur, bien garni, juteux, accompagné de frites ET de salade et d'une mayonnaise relevée et goûteuse…et ce pour 22$!
Fairmont fait honte à la région!

The Chateau is always a fun place to visit and walk the grounds but the restaurant food left us disappointed. It’s nothing worthy of a Chateau not even the presentation.

Food is okay but unbelievably overpriced. The service is terrible. We had a table of 9 with 6 adults and they give us one drink menu and three food menus then took + delivered drink orders without talking to the whole table. The restaurant was nearly empty and it still took an hour and a half before we had food. Can’t imagine how bad it is when the place is busy. Never going back to find out.

Bon service et emplacement superbe ´, mais cuisine et carte des vins surfaites pour le prix.

Food was great, with excellent options. Probably one of the best brunch buffets around and everything was replenished quickly. My only criticism is that the brunch began at 1: 30, and we showed up around 1: 00 to sit down in the hotel lobby since my wife is pregnant and didn't want to stand and wait. By the time guests were being let in at 1: 30 the lineup that formed zigzagged around the whole lobby. We didn't end up getting seated until around 2: 15. Why not stagger the reservation times to avoid the lines? Of course once we got in, each section of the brunch displays had lines as well, people bumping into each other and scrambling to get their food so they can finally eat. Kind of ruined the chill atmosphere the hotel is known for. Again great food, great staff, but something needs to be done about the bottleneck of lineups.

The food here is definitely descent. Only complaint is portion is too small I had to order 2 main dishes. We had 2 meals there, the waiter at dinner was nice and friendly but the waitress at lunch was cranky. View was nice (sat by window)

Ambiance agréable, décor unique.

Vraiment pas donné $$$ prévoir minimum 200$ pour deux une seule entrée repas de base 2 verres de vins (normal petit) une seul dessert.

Par contre 5 ans et moins mange gratuitement. 5-12ans demie prix de plus c'est des bonne assiette!

À faire si ont va aux château par contre pas sûre que ça vaut le coup de faire un gros détour.

GO DINE OUT IN THE MONTEBELLO VILLAGE, DONT EAT HERE. Extremely overpriced for a very average quality food. 2 people can easily spend 200$ for a 3 course meal that could only cost 100$ in another place of the same quality. A lot of low key flexer, too noisy and poor and slow service for a super simple menu.

The brunch is very good but quite expensive however worth it. You have some very common items like eggs bacon potatoes etc.then you have some super original dishes like Waigu beef, deer tartar, lobster salad, tiger shrimp, smoked salmon, baked salmon, maple syrup crepes and blood oranges to squeeze yourself yummie! Everything was delicious of you didn't like what you chose then you went back and got other dishes. The downside of our meal was the waitress who decided to ignore us completely and attend to white glove serve the table of 6 French Canadians in front of us converse and laugh with them and keep asking them if they were happy and needed anything else.

Three times we asked for honey for our tea, our tea got cold. Then we only got one honey not two! Then whenever we had dirty dishes she would not come over to pick them up we had to ask her to do so most of the times or pile up the dishes until it was obvious for her to come and pick them up.

Was it the casual way we were dressed? The colour of our skin? Or our ethnicity that prevented her from doing her job!? I dont know however we were quite insulted and wished that hiring of people in a famous hotel that sees people from all over the world should have people working there who are open minded and not prejudice in their service they render to customers. Total turn off I dont think we will go back there again! Too bad because the chateau and grounds are magnificent!

Although service was excellent and wine was good, food was pricey and rather ordinary. Baba au rhum was disappointing.

We enjoyed a dinner as part of a golf package. The French Onion soup was excellent, the cod was very good and desert, a simple rum bubba, was delicious. The service was appropriately attentive. The prices were more reasonable than I expected. My only critique was that the seating and the room felt more like a fancy cafeteria, not luxury dining.

Prendre seulement des entrées et des à côtés nous a permis de goûter à plusieurs plats délicieux. Un peu cher.

Went for a day trip to this hotel from Montreal. Had lunch in this restaurant. Ordered risotto, buffalo wings, and hummus. The portion size was good, and the taste was also good. However, the place did not look busy.

On a eu le sentiment de se faire arnaquer. On nous a offert de l’eau gazéifiée et du pain en attendant notre repas et ayons eu la surprise de voir 14$+tx ajoutés sur notre facture. C’est la première fois qu’on nous la fait celle là. Bon repas et service, mais frais malhonnêtes pour faire gonfler la facture qui est déjà très salée.
