When I first called, Charles was so nice and patient and understood perfectly what I was going thru with the air problem in our home. He told me step by step how they could help us and took the time to answer all of my questions.
Mariana, the technician was also very nice and kind, explaining each step of the analysis and even redoing certain tests with the censors and Infrared cam more than once on certain parts of the house. The lab analysis were done the very next office day as we received the confirmation by e-mail and we received the well explained report a few minutes later. We did not have to pay until the report was available.

While I have no reason to doubt their expertise in the lab, Axxon's communication between departments was sorely lacking. A technician showed up at my door, with no idea what was required, although I had explained over the phone when making an appointment. He proceeded to ask me what I wanted him to do, and where? (removed asbestos from furnace in the basement the day before). Test air in the livingroom? And then when I directed him to the furnace, he asked if I wanted the test inside the enclosed tent, or outside it? Aren't you supposed to be the experts? Do I have to tell you your job?

I rarely give a 5 stars rating for anything. Dealing with David was hands-down one of the best service I've ever had.

He is punctual, patient and comprehensive, it was an overall very pleasant experience.

Tests results arrived quickly and are comprehensive.

Look no further, I would highly recommend.

Services très professionnels! J’ai obtenu mes résultats très rapidement. Il a pris le temps de nous expliquer comment se déroulerait le test et après, il est venu nous dire les probabilités qu’il y ait de l’amiante ou non. Il avait raison, aucune trace d’amiante.

I very rarely ever post reviews, but I would give David Mitch (and his company AxxonLab) 6-7 stars if I could!
David was extremely professional, thorough and most of all, extremely patient with all my questions and concerns, (and I had several!), when he came to our house. He took the time to explain things, reassure, and give me the info. Some things I forgot to ask, and I sent him several photos after the inspection, and he took the time to schedule a call with me, to look over all the photos and discuss and explain.
What was also very impressive was his honesty in explaining that certain things wouldn't need to be tested (or I would waste money in getting them tested), because he was so sure that they wouldn't contain asbestos. Also, that at no point was there any pressure to do any test; he only gave me the information for each point of concern and let me decide. Thankfully, the test we did do that he recommended doing, was OK, and all my other concerns were also put to rest. He even told me I could send an email if I had further questions. Punctual, respectful, and very pleasant, he was a real pleasure to deal with. The test results were also very prompt.
I was extremely happy with David and Axxonlab, and would wholeheartedly and gladly recommend them to anyone who needs testing for asbestos, (or even anyone who's just concerned or not sure whether they should test, as I know how worrying it can be!) - he will give you an honest answer what to do. FAST AND EFFICIENT! We bought home and found out some surprises like in the 1960s when it was built they often used vermiculite insulation some which is completely fine others may contain asbestos it’s nice to know that there are companies that can quickly do a test let you know if you need any remediation work very pleased with the company‘s transparency and professionalism would recommend Axxonlab.

Amazing experience with David Mitch from Axxonlab! Within 3 days of my call to inspect my father’s apartment that I suspected had mold issues, he was here testing the air quality and also did a swab test of the air conditioning unit. David, the director of the laboratory is personable, knowledgeable and a pure professional. I had called in David for mold testing on more than one occasion.

The biggest advantage I found of going with Axxonlab for me was that I got to deal directly with the lab, no middleman. I found out that some labs are not really labs, but sub-contractors that send out the samples to be analyzed by a real lab. Going with Axxonlab was very reassuring since I had many questions and wanted to get the answers straight from a lab, and not some other 3rd party interpreting the results.

David was very efficient, pleasant and answered all our questions with patience. He explained what he was doing and what he was looking for. He promised that the results would be in by 3: 00 PM the next day and they were on schedule. When I phoned him to explain all the numbers on the results, he did it in a way that I, as a layman could understand. He recommended a decontamination company and they came the next day.
