Good cafe, we stopped in to wait out some rain. I wouldn't say it was super remarkable but it has a fun deco, and the coffee and the strawberry moose dessert was good.

Le service est top. Sous les conseils de notre serveur nous avons pris la crêpe. Elle était délicieuse. Super endroit pour prendre son petit déjeuner.

Excellent Americano, and it’s extra good iced. Oat milk is available. Staff are friendly even though it’s always busy!

They had the best crepe in my life. I love crepe and have tried so many but this is by far the best and had to go back to get a sweet one!

For breakfast, I had a crepe with bacon, egg and mozzarella which was quite filling and made fresh. Then, I went for walk for awhile and came back for a sweet crepe with bananas, vanilla ice cream and chocolate. Just perfect portion with good amount of bananas and ice cream to add right amount of sweetness. Also, they made really good vanilla latte that went well with the crepe.

I was skeptical because of the "touristy" location but I was so wrong and this is the true gem with super friendly staff!

Owner is originally from Argentina and absolutely loves chatting with their clientele. Place is clean and they can serve you in at least 3 languages. Canolis were tasty and my friend enjoyed their chai latté

First time here. Walked around aimlessly and starving, not knowing what I felt like eating but also not wanting to spend a silly amount of money on just lunch.
Came across this lovely café with a very friendly man behind the counter who gladly told me the options for the soup and full sandwich deal.
I chose the turkey BLT on multigrain with broccoli soup and a coffee. So yummy and filling! And reasonable at around $15

Le service que nous avons reçu n’était pas terrible. Ma conjointe à reçu son plat en premier et elle a eu le temps de le terminer avant que je reçoive le mien. Quand j’ai demandé au serveur quand j’aurais ma commande, il a rigolé avec ses collègues et m’a demandé si j’étais Québécois? Bref personnel déplaisant, je ne le recommande pas.

While we were in Quebec on vacation, we tried Baguette & Chocolat our first morning there. After that, this place was our first stop every single day.

The gentleman at the register (who I believe was the owner) met us every morning with a smile, a friendly demeanor, and was helpful in assisting us to decide what we wanted. The rest of the staff were friendly as well.

The crepes were fantastic and were very large portions. Honestly, my wife and I could have probably split every crepe we ate and been full, but we always wanted to try as many different things as we could. The "Western" crepe was one of my favorites. All of the coffee variations that we tried were bold, flavorful, and affordable.

If you're looking for a daily stop to get great coffee, fresh and tasty crepes, baked goods, and a nice atmosphere in downtown Quebec, put Baguette & Chocolat on your list.

Amazing the chai tea was smooth and tasteful! The music choice was nice too quiet and audible at the same time.as for the crepes, by far the best looking and tasting ones I've had in a long time. 9.810 would highly recommend!

I had the traditional crepe with egg, cheese and jam with an almond croissant and an american coffee, the croissant was delicious.
I stayed in Old Québec for 3 day and visited this place for breakfast every day.
Great atmosphere and location

Nous sommes de Montréal et sommes venus passer quelques jours à QC. Nous avons eu la chance de croiser ce petit resto (café, crêpes, sandwichs, salades.). En entrant dans ce petit havre de paix et de saveurs, nous avons été comblé par le décor, l'accueil familiale. Pendant que nous attendions notre commande (quelques minutes seulement), nous avons aimé voir le monsieur à la station des crêpes faire celles-ci comme si c'était pour les êtres les plus chers de sa famille. Appliqué et perfectionniste comme tout. Ensuite, le CHOIX est plus que formidable. Et au final, le monsieur à la caisse, conscient de tout ce qui se passe dans son resto, en gère large, et tient à ce que chaque personne soit servi au moindre petit détail. Ils nous font passer une expérience unique humainement mais culinairement car tout est remplis de multiples saveurs.

On recommande sérieusement ce petit bijou de café/patisseries/repas.

Enjoyed breakfast and coffee at this cafe. We had traditional crepe, desert crepes and almond croissant. To me, the almond croissant was the best I had in Canada - blown away by the buttery surface and sweet almond paste. Crepes were decent as well.

Pas mal! Le gâteau au chocolat, les viennoiseries et les crêpes sucrées sont bonnes. La crêpe peut être pas aussi garnie que nous le pensions (même pas une banane complète). Decor sympathique et personnel aimable.
Dommage qu'il y ait eu un raté et que la crêpe soit arrivée après que tout le monde ait terminé son petit déjeuner.

What? And Chocolate…… lunchtime, no baguettes or sandwiches, hmmm may want to rethink the branding…. Oh wait you have crepes, 20-30 min wait, yeah sure……. 1 hour later where is my crepe? I have already finished my middle of the road coffee and am bored now…. Crepe finally came and was good but not worth all that pain, I’d avoid it if in the area!

Malgré qu'ils venaient de fermer. Nous avions un urgent besoin de sucre pour une personne diabétique. Le sympathique patron nous a rapidement donné un grand verre de jus d'orange. Merci!

You will get a huge difference of service depending what day you go. I came here when the man who is very friendly and very loud. His service is amazing.

If you come here on a day with the two young girls, they are very rude. They forgot to make my order so I asked where my order was after 10mins of waiting. They were just on their phones and eating their lunch behind the counter.

The -2 stars are for each of the young girls.

Other than that, this is the best coffee I had in Quebec.

Service à la clientèle plus que désagréable, propos racistes, l'employé nous a même fermé la porte au nez. Décevant quand 2022 il y est encore des personnes avec de tels mentalités. Il y a bien mieux ailleurs.

Super service, la soupe carotte était super bonne et le sandwich au thon excellent. Sans oublier les cookies framboises. Les serveurs sont super gentils et professionnels, une adresse a visiter!

Stopped here with my family during our visit to Quebec City, we all had their amazing Crepes and smoothies. Excellent service and excellent tasting food/drinks. Highly recommended

A nice find amongst the cafe options in the area. Good strong coffee and absolutely well made crepes. Had the classic and wife the western. Also tried a couple of their pastries. The two gentlemen that served us were upbeat and it just adds to a more positive experience.

The staff was great, the crepes were delicious and their contents fresh and flavorful. The lattes were fantastic—it was a wonderful lunch

Café Illy delicieux, thé Chai tout aussi bon, personnel courtois et de bonne humeur, ambiance chaleureuse, je nai pas eu le temps pour les pâtisserie mais sûrement tres bonnes aussi.

Ma famille et moi étions en visite en provenance d’Ottawa pendant la fin de semaine du carnaval. Nous avons été incroyablement impressionnés par le service à la clientèle hors pair et personnalisé, ainsi que les délicieuses pâtisseries! Nous avons déjà hâte d’y retourner lors de notre prochain séjour!

Even though the line was long, the servers were really slow taking orders and serving customers. One of the 3 was on the phone. After being in line for 20mins and it barley moving, we decided to walk out. Unfortunate because the crepes looked delicious and our group wanted to try it. A better manager would know how to organize the crew to be faster servers.

A large choice of deserts and foods. Oh. And they know how to do coffee of any type. Skip Starbucks. This is the place to go in Old Quebec City!

Delicious crepes and good Cappuccino. Wife had a violet smoothie which was also very good. A little slow but likely understaffed like everywhere these days so can't fault them for that. Not the greatest atmosphere but seemed clean enough.

The crapes here are exquisite. It’s made fresh and most the savory and the sweet ones are really good.
The service is quick and the staff are friendly.

Un samedi à 17: 20 les portes barrées quelques personne à l’intérieur ils m’ont vue à l’extérieur il ne portait pas attention pour me dire si c’était fermé ou ouvert j’ai appelé ça prenais le téléphone et raccrochais sur leur site c’est écrit ouvert jusqu’à 19 heure un employé a fait sortir des clients j’imagine qu’il m’a bien vue et n’a pas pris le temps de me donner l’information extrêmement déçu par le service un manque de respect flagrant.

Delicious crepes (we had two sweet and two savory) and the service was wonderful. The server/cook we had genuinely made you feel welcome and appreciated. I couldn't help but leave with a smile on my face.

Went there with my boyfriend. Absolutely LOVED the crapes and the cappuccino! Without a doubt, the best in town! Wish they made coffee like this in Toronto. Hghly recommend!

Welcoming atmosphere and people. Like most places in Quebec City, they didn’t have vegan options for crepes, but their vegetable crepe without cheese is absolutely amazing. Their maple iced coffee was delicious too. Recommended!

Kind if a tourist trap. Ordered a latte and sent it back. Piles of foam on brown water. Untrained barrista.

Diverse menu options, I ordered the La Classique crepe which was excellent. As an American I usually don’t order food with ham in it but if you typically don’t like American ham I would definitely try crepes with ham in them! The ham is not watery or too sweet like the ham back at home. If you like a heavier more dessert like breakfast, the La Authentique (Nutella, banana, and whipped cream crepe) was sweet and filling. The Le Champetre had fluffy eggs and was also very good. The highlight here was the avocado/smoked salmon toast. It came on a delicious white flatbread with oats in it. If you’re looking for a taste of Quebec with options that are familiar to tourists and room to sit down I would highly recommend Baguette & Chocolate!

Stopped there to grab some refreshing drinks on this very hot and humid Summer day. Service was quick and helpful, the place is nicely decorated and it was clean when I went. It is on the more expensive side but I have to say: that was the BEST iced mocha I’ve ever had!

This cafe offers pastries, sandwiches and crepes on top of coffee, and there's fridges filled with cold drinks including alcoholic beverages. There's various table seating inside which offers a more relaxed casual feel, rather than that of a trendy cafe.

The coffee on offer is the Italian Illy brand. I ordered a Latte machiatto that seems to have been made from a push button machine, as opposed to a proper Italian style coffee machine. Whilst this tasted ok, the coffee and the froth wasn't as good as a good proper Italian style coffee, and it was expensive for what it was.

I also had the Almond croissant which turned out to be pretty decadent as it was not only topped, but filled with an eggy Almond cream.

Not a bad place to grab a casual coffee and some decent pastries, but some of the menu options seemed a bit pricey compared to other places around town.

This cafe is so lovely and cozy yet so busy. Although I am happy they have illy coffee-very excellent quality of espresso.

Ordered this affogatto and salad.

Only wish they have are decaf espresso for costumers who had caffeine problems.

Food was excellent, service was good, and environment was lovely. If your looking for a pleasant stop with a sandwich or snack, you won't go wrong here.

Excellent place for a quick bite. Although the place is famous for deserts, they have excellent sandwiches, soups and salads. We had couscous salad and I have never tasted anything like it. Their tuna sandwich place is great. Love the place and will definitely go next time I am in Quebec. Prices are very reasonable too.

We stopped in for a coffee break during a walk through of Old Quebec. The place was clean, service was quick and friendly and coffee was good with reasonable prices. I didn't feel the overall atmosphere was anything spectacular - but it was a good, solid coffee shop. I would frequent this establishment if visiting Old Quebec again.

Ordered the bangers and mash. The mash was cold and very lumpy. The sausages were a mix of a very dry spicy sausage and pork sausage filled with cheese. Not a good combination. My partner had the fish and chips. Soggy chips and a very small piece of fish. One consolation the beer was cold.

One room is a chocolate museum and the other has treats like cookies, ice creams and hot chocolate. Yum!

Make sure you come with a appetite as there os lots of diifrent kinds of food to try including dessert

Good beverages. Thier petite is really petite. Esp when u order a latte and cappachino with all the foam on top you barely get couple sips.
However amazing customer service. I clumsily dropped my entire cup and they just offered me a new one at no cost. Its probBly nothing for them but made me feel thankful.

A bit disappointed when the barista didn't do any latte art on my latte. But the latte and creep are good.

Friendly staff and a larger space than you'd think from the street. Tasty looking pastries (didn't try). Unfortunately, the espresso is rivalled by local shops. The crema was thin and gone with one sip.
