Bar Waverly

Extremely expensive bar. Half a pitcher of sangria and some pieces of fried chicken in a small fry basket cost 46 dollars (with tax and tip). For those prices, I expect better quality, better decor, ambiance and music. I went here because ten years ago, when I used to live in Montreal, it was a pretty fun bar with decent prices. Not anymore it seems!

Great terrace and location. I expected pub food, but I was surprised by how delicious the fish taco was. I want to eat it again two days in a row.

Bonne ambiance, j'étais agréablement surpris par la qualité de la nourriture, je recommande la buratta et le tartare de boeuf. La musique est plus forte que ce les speaker sont capable de faire, donc pas facile de s'entendre parler

Service plus que long, tout le staf semble en apprentissage. Mais tous étaient gentil.

On reserve des table, mais sans nous avertir d’avance on nous dit dans la soirée qu’on va devoir se lever car nos tables font partie du dance floor (ou personne ne dansait).

Bouffe ok sans plus. Drinks correct.

Musique, on passera notre tour! La moitié du temps.

The vibe was really cool, the staff are super friendly and the lighting is excellent. But damn, the food is dead average and honestly over priced. If you're not gonna eat, it's great.

Busy bar with very good cocktails. A bit cramped, but worth going there for a few drinks with friends. Staff was nice and readily available even when the bar was crowded, so kudos to them!

I love the Waverly. It's such a Ubisoft and mile end staple.

On summer weekend nights you'll see a terrasse full of lovely people drinking the night away.

In week nights you'll see a couple at a table obviously on their first date. At the bar? A couple Ubisoft folks doing a late meeting.

On Fridays? Well it's going away party for one of your colleagues!

Very good drinks and friendly staff. A nice place to go with friends and hang out around good drinks. Their kitchen is currently closed so they let you bring food from outside to bring back and eat.

The place is very cool and the atmosphere is amazing but i agree that it can be extremely loud so if you want to grab a beer and chat with a friend i wouldn't suggest that place, but for big groups it's perfect. A bit expensive but nothing outrageous! Overall I really liked the place!

Ugh, the male bartenders were insufferable. Ignored my friend and I and wouldn't even take our money so we could leave. Got up to go and then he gets upset. Cool interior, not worth the attitude.

Très belle place situé dans le Mile End bar assez grand et convivial.large choix d'alcool et de bouffe. Ambiance tamisée les serveuses son vraiment aux petits oignons pour vous je recommande vraiment.

Pretty cool bar, they have a good variety of drinks. If you love gin like me you'll enjoy their selection. Vibe is hip and relax, music is not too loud and lights are dimmed. Their food is great, I had a cheeseburger plate and I was impressed. Their fries are very good.

Very cosy bar with friendly service. There’s a variety of liquors, cocktails and beers. The lighting is just dark enough and even if it’s gets a little noisy, it’s never overwhelming. The music playing in the background is usually more indie and laidback. Overall, a pleasant spot for a date or hanging out with a large group of friends!

Overall good selection, not amazing. Good ambiance and lighting. Pricing is fine. $9 ish for a good beer. Good date idea.

L’ambiance de ce bar est vraiment belle, il est souvent très achalandé et très bruyant. Les serveurs sont vraiment gentils mais bien souvent dans le jus, à oublier nos commandes à plusieurs reprises. Je recommande la terrasse en été (plus agréable que l’intérieur)

Très beau bar avec ces différents luminaires. Le lieu est grand. Les Cocktails sont délicieux avec des spécialités faites maison.

Les boissons étais bonne, la music aussi. Le seul problème c'est le manque de professionnalisme de certain employés, une complètement saoule et le bouncer qui laisse des clients régulier emmerder les autres clients.

Cozy bar. Bit noisy like any other bar. Hipster ambiance. Limited drink choice, which helps choose faster. Friendly staff. Very little alcohol in the drinks, not sure if you are having a drink or a juice.

Nice cocktails with a comprehensive selection of liquors. Not a lot of options on the menu, but the food was great

Great local bar, my favourite poutine! Though they crank up the music at 11pm, which can be a bit much when you were just having a chill evening.

Best bar. Staff know what they are doing. Gang de gros gars/filles. Must go. All night, every night.

Probably my favorite bar in Montreal. The staff is supper cool, the ambiance is great and the location is ideal. Although it gets busy, the waitress will still come check on you.

The ambiance is super drinks were good the burgers were the worst I ever tried to eat. Talk about a hockey puck with horrible seasoning. Would not recommend whatsoever for food. If looking for a place to relax and have a drink go for it

Nice place. A bit noisy but that is expected for a bar, right? I recommend the burger - nice portion and the Mayo is awesome.

Cher pour ce que c'est. Particulièrement la nourriture qui est servie en petite quantité (burger servi sans frites.). Très long service. L'ambiance est est sympa et bien situé.

Rien que pour le plaisir du magnifique jeu de mot "Tequila Mockingbird" qui vient sans la recette (sans le how-to.) … Mais c'est aussi un bar très sympa avec de la bouffe très bien et en été une terrasse sympa)

An interesting neighborhood bar, good music, diverse cocktails but not really worth the effort to visit. Nothing out of the ordinary great service and easy to hangout at. I would not go back to if in the area but would go for some drinks. Not go here out of my way.

Belle ambiance et beau décor. Bonne musique! Cocktails un peu ratés et bouffe absolument immangeable. Mes chou-fleurs frits étaient encore congelés. La poutine était extrêmement salé, impossible à manger. Dommage car sur le menu tout avait l'air si bon.

Nothing special about this bar. Cosy, a bit pricey for what you get.

Endroit branché, plein de bon monde avec une bonne bière à la main! Essayez leur sandwich qui ressemble à un club mais en mieux:)
Si vous arrivez assez tôt peut-être pourrez vous occuper le mini salon semi-privé derrière le bar!

Staff vraiment présent malgré le nombre de client qui sont sur place. Bouffe correct mais sans plus. Certain changement sur leur lignes de bieres fais que le Warverly reste un bon bar pour prendre une biere de micro sans tuer le portefeuille.

Great dive bar my Cousin turned me on to. It'll be a repeat location next time we're in town for sure!

Great drinks and fun atmosphere. The only issue is that the servers are happy to help you until you want your bill, or you want another drink.literally stared right at us, we waived our hands and walked passed us to help other people. It’s not a big place, that can’t be missed.
