Barbie Expo

Interesting place if you are a Barbie fan. The children did not appreciate it, because they are already playing with completely different toys, and these dolls are not interesting to them.

Gratuit! Cute, pas trop long, bien fait, autonome. Les indications pour se rendre sont nébuleuse à cause des rénovations des cours Mont Royal, mais l'expo est bien là en date du 27 novembre.

Fantastic! A must see for any Barbie fan. It’s a nice warm break from walking outside in the cold weather ;)

It was a cute expo, but got over quicker than we expected… maybe about 200 dolls altogether, took less than 15 min to check them all out.
Amazing outfits, but didn’t seem like they covered all the famous Barbie’s especially the ones that came in the movie…
But nevertheless enjoyed the intricacies of the outfits and the variety, and the various celebrities on display.
There were total of 10-12 display racks at the most, check the videos.

It was free so that was a plus. Thanks for the nice experience.
I think I enjoyed it more than my kid or husband

One word! Amazing and unique experience, beautiful barbie dolls. Heaven for little girls that love barbie dolls. A must see when in Montreal down town!

Super cool. We randomly walked in after seeing signs on the street and it was so much fun. Took us about 15 minutes to walk through everything but I'm sure you can spend more time if you slow down and take photos.

My inner child emerged as I browsed through the Barbie showcases. The Barbies (all diverse and representative of various cultures/ethnicities) were beautifully presented. I would go back in a heart beat!

This was such an awesome exhibition. Most little girls dream, I was excited to see the various types of Barbie out there. The designer Bob Mackie did a fabulous job on numerous pieces of dress for Barbie. Truly gifted.

Wonderful place for barbie lovers and also for fashionistas. Especially who love fashion designing?

My wife saw this advertisted on leaving the metro, being not a barbie fan myself I expected the worst but it was a nice setup. A must see for fans. And you can support the make a wish foundation.

This was amazing! I couldn't believe the quality and quantity of barbie dolls. From all over the world.

The expo brings out your inner child. With a large collection of Barbie dolls representing a variety of cultures, ethnicities, fashion designers, trends, famous artists, and a wide range of colours. It is free, and you can also go shopping at the mall. Children would definitely enjoy it as well.

Tres belle exposition de barbie mais aussi de certain grand acteur et chanteur avec une tres bonne ressemblance.

The Barbie Expo is a visit for anyone that loves Barbie! There had to be a couple hundred different barbies. There was no admission fee and it was not too crowded on a Sunday as most of the stores in the mall were closed. It was nice to see the different barbies dressed up with attire from different countries like India, China etc. You also had a ton of movie actors and celebrities such as Elvis Presley, Cyndi Lauper and Farah Fawcett!

Great for girls and their dads who just want to have a break in an air conditioned environment in downtown Montreal. Even spotted the karen amongst the Barbies.

Intéressant étant donné que c'est gratuit. On pensait avoir un peu plus de trucs interactifs et de haute couture. Un gros point négatif est que la vitrine du haut est très haute et n'est pas approprié pour des enfants.

I found this by accident and it was an absolute delight. So many dolls from all over the world, in so many incredible outfits. I loved the variety of themes in the displays! I highly recommend this to anyone who likes barbies or fashion or costumes!

Très belle exposition de Barbie! Il y en a de toutes sortes. Même les adultes vont être impressionnés! Ça vaut vraiment la peine!

To be honest, I didn't know what to expect. I'm not a Barbie fan. But just going through the display of the museum you can appreciate the work they put into it. We'll worth the time if you pass through the area.

Fabulous free exhibit (donation to charity accepted). Amazing designer renditions, and dis portrayed as famous actors and characters. Of interest to young and old, male and female

Loved it! Costumes from around the world, from different eras, designer outfits, and more. A feast for the eyes.

I loved the expo! There are so many Barbies with fantadtic dresses! I would recommend to anyone who's bored or who enjoy pretty clothes!

What a fun expo! Never knew there were so many beautiful Barbies! All of the costumes were exquisite. This is a great attraction.

Nice Expo inside the Mall. It is Free to enter. Nice fountain, many different Barbies of different ethnic backgrounds. Many interesting different doll outfits for the Barbies. Great to stop by, if you are in the area, or in the Mall. Good for those who likes Barbies. The Expo is quite small, but big enough to walk around for a bit.

Looking for a different thing to do on an outing or maybe want to impress your date ;) go check out this exhibit. Located in the fashion mall, Les Cours Mont Royal, This permanent exhibit of fashion-conscious Barbies has enough to inspire. They are not just Barbies, each one is a little masterpiece lovingly put together to remarkably resemble great movie stars of today and yesteryear, from their clothes to there hairdos, right to their amazingly sculpted faces.

Une très bonne expo, on peut suivre l’evolution de la poupée depuis le début jusqu’à nos jours. Y a des poupées de collection rarissimes aussi. Ça me manque un peu de chronologie car les poupées sont plutôt regroupées par thèmes mais en général, c’est la meilleure expo consacrée à Barbie que je connais (je suis collectionneuse et j’ai visité beaucoup de musées des jouets).

Wow! That's all I can really say! This place is amazing and has so ma you different types of Barbie's, it was truly my childhood dream come true. I loved every detail of this museum. To top it off, the museum is free of cost. If you loved Barbie's as a kid, you will love this place. There's something for everyone. Check it out!

Even if you're not a Barbie fan, this exhibit is pretty entertaining. Just when you think there couldn't possibly be any more ways to dress up a little figurine - boom - there's another wall full of them:)

Belle exposition gratuite à faire tout en se promenant dans le coin ou bien après avoir été au musée des beaux arts.
On eu un peu de difficultes a trouver l'endroit rendu au centre dachat car les indications ne sont pas tres clair.
Aussi on dit qu'on peut donner des dons monétaire $$ et que 100% des profits iront à une oeuvre de charité. J'aurai bien voulu donner de l'argent mais malheureusement ce n'était pas du tout clair où on devait laisser les dons d'argent.
Peut être qu'il pourrait rendre ceci plus évident car les gens donneraient certainement plus d'argent.
En sommes c'est très bien et les costumes des barbies sont très intéressantes.

Great little Barbie experience & it’s free! It will take about 45 mins to look around at everything! The exhibit is also connected to a mini mall area.

A very nice exhibit. Worth checking out. Only critique is that Cuba wasnt represented with the international Barbie's.

Came across this with my mom and for a teen and a mom it was very enjoyable and a good over all experience the barbies were so beautiful! A beautiful spot I definitely recommend for all ages

Cool expo. A bit boring.
You will spend only few minutes there since the expo is not too big but they definitely have many different dolls.

If you like Barbie, you will love this! A fun place and quite complete collections of Barbies. My favourite is the Barbie box where you can pose as Barbie! Free admission!

This place is seriously fun, beautiful, quirky and cool.and free! I drove from MI to visit Montreal just for the weekend and I stopped by this place and was so glad I did. I truly had a good time cuz it's just inventive and creative and the interior of the place is gorgeous with cool black and white walls and chandeliers. It's not like I care for Barbie, but all the beautiful outfits from around the globe, time (decades), and pop culture the Barbie dolls rock is intriguing and beautiful to see. Go check it out!

It's a wonderful collection worthy of Smithers, I'm truly grateful that's on public display instead of a box or a private exhibit.

Really nice expo for who are learning fashion designing, there are all kind of Barbie, inside the mall, also have underground parking
