Nous connaissions ce restaurant via la livraison. Tjs excellent. Nous venons d’essayer l’expérience sur place: phénoménale! Nous étions au bar. Le barman était top!

Amazing food. Their Thai basil rice is yum.they even accommodated to make chicken for us instead of Shrimp. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone

I just had a pad Singapore and it was delicious! Glad I gave them a second chance.

I just had the Tao (chicken) and the Pad Thai. The first one was delicious, the second awful. There was not a hint of spiciness in it, nor flavour. Only one shrimp and tofu (or was it chicken, or both). It was so tasteless that I had to use some Sriracha sauce and give up on trying to guess what kind of protein the rectangular white stuff was.

Food was excellent and service was prompt. This place would not necessarily be easy to find unless you are staying in the area.
Would definitely come again.

The pad Thai and the tao we're very tasty. The size are big, good for sharing. The terrace is nice for the summer. The service was a bit slow but friendly. I will be back.

J'ai fait livré la soupe Phnom Penh et les rouleaux impériaux, et c'était très bon! Les portions sont très généreuses.

Sans aucun doute le meilleur sauté que j'ai jamais mangé, tout goutait tellement bon! Possiblement mon nouveau restaurant préféré à Québec, il va falloir que j'essaie d'autres plats pour confirmer.

Si j'avais pu donner 6 étoiles, je l'aurais fait! C'était carrément délicieux, savoureux! Et super bon service. Si ce resto était à Montréal, j'irais souvent!

LA découverte de notre week-end à Québec! Le plat signature Le Mékong était oh combien délicieux et la sangria verte, une petite merveille! Je recommande fortement d’y faire un arrêt lors de votre prochain passage dans le coin du Nouvo St-Roch!

Découverte très sympathique ; terrasse ultra cool pour un verre, mais aussi pour déguster une recette aussi prometteuse que la poutine: les boulettes de maïs: un pur régal original. Nous allons y revenir pour essayer les recettes traditionnelles. Je vous en reparle!

Ne manquez surtout pas ça.

We went to the cantine (restaurant is close during lunch). Very nice and fast service. The food is good and original. Would recommend if you are looking for some original food. Most of the dishes are spicy with a lot of tastes. Not a lot of tables and no baby chairs though, but overall it was a very good moment!

Incredible food! I would highly recommend ordering one of their Thai soups and signature plates as they are packed with flavour

My husband and I visited this place on our trip to Quebec city. The place is good, ambience is really nice but there service is very poor.
We ordered the Mekong soup, vegetable imperial roll, corn balls and Pad Thai. There apps were amazing especially the corn balls but their pad thai tasted only of fish sauce.
Our experience was really spoiled after our waitress forgot our order altogether. We had placed the order of all four dishes the moment we sat down. We got soup and the corn balls after 10 mins but the waitress totally forgot about us. After waiting for 20 mins we told her that we haven’t received the rest of our order and after 10 mins she comes and gets our pad thai. We thought that the imperial rolls need some more time. After 10 mins we asked her about the imperial rolls, she tells us that she totally forgot about it and hadn’t placed the order for it. Anyway after 5 mins we received the rolls and we paid and left.
I don’t think we will be going here ever again.
No doubt the food is good but their service is really bad.

Good thai restaurant however it has significant opportunity for improvement. Let me share the pros and cons.

Pros: appetizers (super delicious) and the vibe is amazing for drinks and dinner

Cons: service (very slow), the waitress had forgotten one of our apps and it came after we finished the main, the pad thai had a sea/fishy smell and I needed hot sauce to help eat it.

Overall - needs to improve service and pad thai

We made a reservation for this restaurant and considering it's an outdoor restaurant our expectation was to be seated outside. On reaching there, we were told that the reservation automatically puts you into an indoor seating restaurant next door! Anyways we denied sitting indoor and had to wait to be seated outside. After waiting 10 minutes, when we looked at the menu, we were told they dont have any vegetarian options and they use fish sauce in everything. So turned out a complete disappointment for us!

Repas excellent et très goûteux! Le personnel semble heureux d'y travailler. Belle décoration asiatique moderne. Bien hâte d'essayer la terrasse quand ce sera possible!

Amazing Cambodian/Thai restaurant. They are willing to accommodate vegetarians without any problem. The food is excellent, the appetizers we loved: lemongrass doughnuts and fresh summer rolls (pailin rolls). We also tried the Khmer dish vegetarian. Don't miss the special margarita! To boot, the ambiance and service are fantastic as well. Worth a try if you are in Quebec City.

Let me start by saying the food was phenomenal, very flavorful and I'll definitely be going back because of that, However I'm giving this review only a 3 star because of the service. Our waitress seemed nice but I'm 100 certain at one point she forgot to put in our food order as it took something close to 1hour between the entrees and our main meals to arrive. On top of that when we did get our entrees, not every one got their food right away and so we were never all eating at the same time. I was very disappointed because otherwise this would have been a great night between friends, instead we had to then rush over to the ice cream store we wanted to finish the night at before they closed. Something that we thought we wouldn't have to do.

Vraiment une belle découverte. Ce resto a 19 ans, mais il vient tout juste d'être rénové. Version "en salle" plus sophistiqué, mais quand même très accessible. De belle portion et un goût thaï plus originaul que ce qu'on retrouve dans les versions plus commerciales. Aussi disponible, une version plus "street food" aussi offerte sur la terrasse adjacente. A essayer!

Nourriture toujours bonne mais je m'ennuie de l'ancienne formule. Les prix ont augmenté et on m'a facturé 0.75$ pour échanger du riz pour du vermicelles. J'étais une cliente régulière.avant.

Belle expérience au Bati Bassak! Je vous conseille le nid au fruits de mer.délicieux. Nous étions un peu collés aux voisins, mais j'ai passé par dessus avec le très bon service que nous avons reçu.

Five stars because of the unique authentic Cambodian cuisine. I ordered that day's special which was the beef tartar with soup. My family ordered other dishes (as seen in the photos) and everything was amazing. The presentation was beautiful, along with unique sauces, a mix of traditional Cambodian and their own dishes. I recommend you eat here no matter what you order, everything on the menu looked good.

Meilleure resto asiatique de Qc et même plus! Nouvelle formule et les plats sont toujours excellents et typiques. La nouvelle ambiance vaut vraiment le détour.
Le service est toujours impeccable en plus!
La Cantine Bâti est très chaleureuse, on se sent comme à la maison. Avec une belle terrasse et des plats différents du restaurant.

Repas du soir avec un personnel bien intentionné. Les plats servis, à la fois savoureux et généreux, nous ont laissés des notes de bonheur au fond du palais. On a même pris le soin de souligner un anniversaire sans que l'on ait demandé quoi que ce soit sinon que le personnel avait été attentif à notre toast de départ! Merci Batti Basak, vous pouvez compter sur notre fidélité et nous recommandons fortement votre restaurant.

Underwehlming culinary experience. We ordered Thai Soup, vegetable imperial rolls, The Thaï Curry, The Tao. All classic disches and we were extremely disspointed with the dishes not finding a place for themself. If it was chosen to remain authentic then it is far fetched from the originals and if trying to be creative then it deeply fails at bringing any flavours to the table. We were especially dissapointed with the Thaï Curry and The Tao. The two stars for service and ambience (looks like all the effort is put in these two areas).

I come from Montreal and I was not expecting this level of quality and uniqueness in a restaurant from Quebec city. A must absolutlely. They have the more generic asian food with a Cambodian twist as well as unique Cambodian plates. The amok is a must! Very satisfied by the food, price and service.

I absolutly loved my experience from beginning walking in the place. Great ambiance friendly staff and quality food makes an awesome mix!

I ate the Bati aroma and the spicy meat and ricye is an absolute delight! My friend ate a steak that could be cut by fork and was perfectly cooked medium rare.

The attention to details is also amazing, you will get a lot for your money!

Its a perfect restaurant for a date, buisness dinner or simply to chill out.

Great! The service and food. Go here and eat. The stuffed chicken wings are yum and my first time having a Kaow piak soup- could eat that everyday (there is Gnocci in it). Good.wine selection too. No room for dessert though.

Cozy and trendy restaurant, they have the sit down restaurant and the little cantine/bar right beside it. The menu is quite authentic with some itemsilike tems Loc Lac and the clams. There are some tone down item as well to please everyone. Drinks are a must. Share your plates for more fun!

Mon copain et moi avons découvert cette perle rare hier soir. Une référence d'une amie. Un gros Wow! Tous les plats sans exception etaient copieux et délicieux. Beaucoup de saveurs, d'aromes et de goût! Une cuisine raffinée et à notre sens exceptionnelle. C'était pour nous une première mais pas la dernière! Si vous souhaitez vivre un voyage culinaire aux saveurs du triangle d'or, allez-y sans hésiter! Vous serez ravis!

Best south east asian cuisine I've eaten, and I've eaten a lot of it in Montreal. If you're visiting Quebec city, you absolutely have to come here. Amazing food, great service and in a prime location.

The ambiance is great but food was mediocre at best. The Pad Thai is a dish that I always order and have eaten many times at many different Thai restaurants in Canada. This was the only time I left more than half of it since it had too much Tamarind and Sweetness. I had read all the great reviews but was disappointed with the meal.

Beau resto avec des plats bien présentés et franchement délicieux. Très bon service également. Si possible, réservez d'avance pour être assis vers l'avant du resto (banquettes) pour plus de tranquillité ;-)

My family really loved this restuarant with their kind and welcoming employees as well as the restuarants owner Sao. We really were able to taste the thai and cambodian culture, Bati Bassac was really able to make our stomachs happy. Great Job!

Commander une soupe Phnom Penh, bouillon sans aucun goût, beaucoup de vermicelles, peu de viande, les boulettes sont également faibles en goût, probablement préfète et congelées.
15$ tax incluses, beaucoup trop chère pour la qualité, soupe a évité.

Décevant depuis les rénovations. Ce n'est plus un apporter votre vin, le service est très lent et les prix sont exagérés pour la qualité. La nourriture était bonne.

La nourriture est excellente, comme avant. Cependant, la lenteur du service est hallucinante! 40 minutes avant de recevoir la soupe et 30 minutes entre la soupe et le plat pricipal, c'est inacceptable quand le restaurant est au 3/4 vide un dimanche soir. De plus, la jeune serveuse qui était affectée à notre table n'était pas douée pour la job. Bref: décevant. C'était notre dernière visite.

Déçu de la nouvelle formule, menu moins de choix très bon encore. On pensaient retrouver un peu de l'ancien. À près toute ces années à être fidèle ont vas passer notre tour. Je leurs souhaitent un bonne continuité avec leurs nouvelles clientèles.
