Bâton Rouge Grillhouse & Bar

Haven't eaten here in person, but have ordered via Uber Eats a couple times. My ordering experiences have been fantastic and the food amazing. My wife recently said "no bacon on anything" on an order and they put my club sandwich's bacon in a side container, it was fine but that was one of the most considerate things we've ever seen on an Uber Eats order.

Plutôt bon, mais manquais un petit quelque choses dans les saveur de mon tartare malheureusement.
Le service y étais correct. Pas vue souvent le serveur pour avoir de l'eau etc.

Comme d'habitude, aucune déception d'un restaurant Bâton Rouge. J'ai essayé le club sandwich, loin d'être une assiette ordinaire!

Bigger ribs portions than before. Everything is quite expensive. They even have a 150$ steak.

Very disappointed. Baton burger that looked like the bottom bun, patty and bacon were fused as 1. Coleslaw that had 0 seasoning/vinegar/dressing. My favourite gripe was due to the fact that I returned with my “pick-up” order since the side of celery root purée was so very salty, it was inedible and 1 of the sides, red mashed garlic potatoes was missing. The hostess was very understanding but the kitchen staff not so much. In fact they were yelling so loud insisting there was nothing wrong that I was able to hear them while waiting at the front desk! They provided the missing item and assured me that the new batch of purée was good. However I returned home only to discover it was as salty as the 1st! Mixing it with the potatoes did nothing to lessen the saltiness. Food quality is no longer a “thing” for this chain.

Ran out of steaks yet it was not busy. Strange. Food was good buy not compared to other Baton Rouge restaurants. Service was great

Nice place to get grill and seafood. The place is nice well located with parking. A bit expensive but like everywhere else unfortunately

Such a lovely place inside which drove us in (after a 45 minute ride from the states). We just wanted to try something new so went over based off from pictures and reviews. Sadly our experience was less pleasing than others have said to have had! The food was very, very average (chain restaurant level for sure.and included me picking off the literal charred slice of cheese that came on my burger) with a bill of $119 for 2 meals, 2 beers, and 1 appetizer. Always willing to pay for good food but this just was not that. Farther more, we might have left a little more satisfied if the service was awesome but unfortunately this severely lacked as well! Our server was very nice, but appeared over worked leading us to an almost 2 hour late lunch/early dinner meal, which ended in me just walking up and paying at the bar so we could finally head out. Kudos to the kind attitude of the server and to the very modern atmosphere of the restaurant but we will definitely not be back considering all the other good eateries in the area!

WAY TOO expensive for the quality of the food. Seafood was over cooked, eating the scallops felt like eating rubber, same for the burger meat… The fries look like they were re-heated, and the chicken fillets had more flour than chicken… Also there was too much sauce for the amount of pasta, the sauce was also way too salty and looked like it came out of a jar. Service was okay, really basic and nothing special. Overall the food was NOT good and not of the expected quality of the food chain. It seems like they care more about profit than quality, which is very much shameful. Avoid this restaurant and go somewhere else, even McDondals has tastier burgers.

Took over an hour for us to get the waitress back to ask where our food was. We offered to leave, they said they were just starting our order. The flank steak was good, at least the edges that were cooked. They understood we were very irritated by then and made it right. We stayed right next door for 4 days and would have eaten there at least once more had the first visit gone well.

My family has always been a fan of the restaurant.
However, our last visit, on Tuesday, May 30th, was disappointing. We took our friends from Australia to Baton Rouge for dinner, based on past experiences. The staff was friendly and attentive, as usual.
Our baked potatoes were dry and stale and the vegetables were cold. My margarita did not taste as good as the margaritas I was used to having in the past; all the alcoholic drinks were weak.

One of our favorite restaurant. The ribs are the best in Montreal area. The service is always impeccable there.

I went for supper with my son on May 31. I was very disappointed with the food. I ordered 12 oz.and my son a 14 oz roasted beef.
My son order medium and his roasted beef was alright to his standard. Mind was disappointing. I ordered roasted beef medium rare. I got my beef BLUE! Not cook at all. I returned it snd waited 15 minutes and came back still not cook. Returned it again, waited another 20 minutes then it came back boiled in the juice, but ateable. The brocoli and green beans was under cooked, just remove from the water, not even salted, no butter or sauteed, just slapped it on the plate not even well presented. I also ordered a house salad. Again, the salad was not washed and has sand in it. I returned it, they offer me a Ceasar salad. This too was not good. The Ceasar vinaigrette was not properly made. I didn't even eat it. At last, I ate the roasted beef I waited for 20 minutes re- doing it. Then got up and paid the $133.not includes the tips, then left.very disappointed. Supposedly be a high class steak house, but turns out to be low class over priced restaurant. My advise is: change your cook of chef, he is doing a poor job and he's going to ruin your business. I won't be returning anytime soon.
