This is the best barbershop in Montreal, a hidden gem in the Old Port. Rami is really professional and it has been my barber for years. Each time I go with him is a great experience.

Without a doubt one of the best, if not the best barber shop in Montreal. Every detail was thoroughly thought to provide the best experience.

From the moment you walk in, you will be wowed by the ambiance and service. Everything from the whisky they offer you (water and coffee are also options) to the chairs, decoration, music…and of course, a really good haircut. All in all, a great experience!

I wish I had more hair to enjoy the experience more often:)

My only suggestion would be to let clients enjoy the warm towel treatment at the end a little longer.

Visited this barber shop whilst travelling for business from the UK. Switching barbers (especially in another country) is a scary prospect but Belgard were fantastic, Saleh did the perfect job that I asked for, no nasty surprises and kept me looking sharp! Will visit again next time I’m in town for sure! Thanks

I can honestly say i have never had such an amazing experience at a barber shop like i had at Belgard. I took my freinds here for a bachelor party stop over and the barbers here are second to none. Went to shave my head bald. Excellent job. Careful and attentive barber. Took his time, and was very thorough. No redness irritation. Only downside is that they are quite pricey for similar services at other barbershops, but overall, very satisfied. Will be back.

I recently went for a shave and a trim and it was a great experience. A nice glass of whisky, a hot towel and skin treatment, great atmosphere and service. A luxurious and professional experience. Giordy had me looking and feeling great. I gave him free reign to style my beard and was really pleased with the results. Definitely returning.

I’m from NYC, this place hands down annihilates everything back home; from the moment you walk in you get greeted and offered a drink. You won already there. Enzo was very understanding and helpful, 60usd very well spent trust me. I pay that back home for a fade alone.

Great service, courteous staff, and a nice ambiance. They offer complementary drinks, and have a nice waiting area. I highly recommend booking ahead, they are excellent and reminding you of your appointment. They even allowed me to add a haircut during my appointment. I took a friend for his birthday. He's now taking his dad for his birthday. Would be great for small groups as well.

First timer, and my first impression of Belgard, professional and very welcoming. I am not the type of individual that uses these type of services (facial, brows, and manicure) but I can easily say that they will be included in my routine when required. All these treatments or services, not sure what to call it, was done by Lisa and she created a great report with me so I am confident that you will be well served as well. Really have no idea why this place has such good ratings. Just got my hair cut here today 2019/09/28, and there was a lot left to be desired. My primary issues were 1) The guy was not a hair stylist, he was a mechanic for 9 years and had been cutting hair for two months. 2) Washed hair and didn't condition. 3) Surprised washed my face without asking, my skin is as dry as the Sahara. 4) My hair is not what I asked for, I even showed a picture and a video and tried to guide several times. He didn't listen, did what he wanted and rushed through the cutting process. He used a buzzer mostly, did it very fast so he could flip the chair and get a new customer.

The shop gets one star above minimum because I liked the music and decor

Recently came with a friend to try out this new place. He wanted his haircut as he was unhappy with his previous shop. He came out of this place extremely happy and satisfied. The place was phenomenal and welcoming. He was cut by a friendly young man who mentioned that he was currently starting his career as a barber. A+ Great service, great atmosphere and great haircut.
He mentioned that he will most definitely be going NG back.

In town for business and needed a haircut. Belgard did not disappoint. Great haircut and wash from Remi and everyone was very friendly. Whisky served just the way I like it. Two thumbs up.

I visit Mantovani every few weeks and he remembers exactly what I like. The other staff are also very friendly. I wish they had a better reservation system, but they're always fairly quick to respond to my requests for appointments.

Amazing experience, the staff is smiling and serving, you get a bottle of water, an expresso or a whiskey while they cut you hair. Only for men ;)
