Best Western Plus City Centre/Centre-Ville

Employees very friendly and helpful, the pool area was nice. We stayed when there was a hockey tournament unfortunately so it was very busy. You must pay 32$ a day for parking as well.
I’m giving a four star because the room wasn’t the cleanest. There was Advil all over the floor and with small children that was concerning, the floor of the room was very cold. I do think this hotel is worth the price, great budget friendly hotel.

Mise à part le coût du stationnement, mon expérience à l'hôtel est satisfaisante.

Good: location, you can notice some renovation was done recently, rooms are clean, good for families, close to very good restaurants.
Need improvement: there's no valet parking, parking lot has poor lighting and vigilance, rooms are not noise cancelling, breakfast not included.

The entire experience was great! The check in process was simple and easy. The rooms were well maintained. The swimming pool was nice and warm. The hotel has an amazing breakfast buffet. Must visit for travellers.

Modern building with indoor heated pool. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable.
They have parking and space for simultaneous charging of 3 electric cars.

Spacious rooms with two separate queen-size beds. The bathroom is also spacious and is equipped with a bathtub. Both the room and the bathroom were clean. The degree of wear and tear on the furniture and bathroom fittings was moderate. Unfortunately, the existing air conditioning system only knows one level, full steam or nothing at all. We couldn't find a difference between “low” and “high”. The lobby also has a very modern design and the recent renovation is noticeably visible. The staff was also very nice. We had a pleasant stay.

Good location, free parkibg, in Bathroom only have shampoo, no conditioner, no bath gel, water faucet super hard to turn on and off, too close to the mirror, it is disaster.

It was clean and comfortable.
It would have been nice if the distance had been a little closer, but it's a shame.

Dernièrement nous avons passé une nuit chez Best Western à Québec. Lorsque nous sommes arrivés, le service à la réception était ok et pas plus. Notre chambre était ok avec des murs en carton. Nous avons été dérangé vers 3h30 du matin (pendant 2 heures) par un groupe de personnes de la chambre adjacente qui se pensaient seuls dans cet hôtel. Nous en avons discuté avec la préposée à la réception au matin. Elle était désolée et pas plus. Elle ne pouvait rien faire pour nous en guise de compensation car nous avions un forfait Tuango. Pas certain d'y retourner.

La borne de recharge pour voiture électrique était indisponible parce que des voitures à essence en bloquaient l'accès; le personnel, très peu collaboratif, s'en foutait et nous n'avons pas pu recharger la voiture avant de repartir.

Séjour très agréable. Personnel souriant à l'accueil. Lit très confortable et déjeuner inclus bien au dessus de la moyenne des hotels en terme d'offre et de qualité.

Week-End de filles! Un très bon accueil très rapide et de même pour la fin de notre séjour. Nous avons demandé de séparé la facture entre nous.
Hôtel très bien situé, mais plusieurs réparations autour de l'hôtel, ce qui rend l'accessibilité plus difficile, dû aux nombreux cônes oranges et changement de direction. Ils offrent un stationnement au côté de l'hôtel, payant $, mais très pratique et pas besoin de reprendre le véhicule, car tout se fait à pied pour visiter la ville de Québec.
La piscine est très agréable et l'eau d'une bonne température. Le resto est plutôt froid comme déco, mais le personnel est charmant, tout comme à la réception.
Si j'avais à retourner à Québec, sûrement que j'opterais encore pour cet hôtel, ayant un prix convenable.
Les chambres possèdent du tapis, ce que j'aime moins, car il y a une odeur qui reste. J'emporte toujours un parfum d'ambiance pour camoufler l'odeur très faible, en fait. Déco un peu ancienne, mais lit très confortable.
Nous avons bien aimé et c'était bien parfait pour notre court séjour.

Horrible.must pay for parking, can't find the place no name marker on the street side where address is. Some employees are rude. Not knowledgeable with gift card processing. They don't listen to clients explanation or request.

First hotel room was dirty, the bathroom was filthy and the beds were made with dirty sheets. When we first noticed the bathroom was dirty we asked for someone to come up and clean it while we were out but no one did. We were moved to another room which appeared clean but a medical waste was found under the sheets in the bed. I would not recommend this place.

I was debating between four and five stars, and in the end I decided to give five. The reason for four was the room we were checked in on arrival. It didn’t look quite clean and I went to their front desk to complain. Well, it was one of the best “complaints” experiences in my life. We were given another room no questions asked. I can’t remember the names of the front desk staff, but all of them we super nice. And the guy on their parking lot as well! The hotel exterior is under renovation by the way, but it didn’t affect our stay. The hotel is about 25 minutes walk from the old city which was good enough for us. Mind you it’s not Fairmont (where we never stayed:) ), but it is pretty good compared to some other hotels we stayed at. Manage your expectations and you will be happy!

Matthias was so helpful in booking and organizing our room + ensured we got the best price possible. We required a cot & the cot was delivered within minutes of us arriving in our room.
The room was clean and large, no complaints.
Breakfast took a while to order, but was so high class when arrived.
Jeremy (the parking attendant) was extremely helpful too even after we had checked out. He even went so far as too fill our whole party’s water bottles (8 people!). & gave us tips on local attractions.

So impressed with the Best Western team. Would stay again. Don’t judge it by it’s outside (it was under construction).

Nice clean hotel. Lots of restaurants in the area. It's changed a lot, but the area is still a bit rough looking.

Bien que l'intérieur de l'hôtel soit bien et que le service était bon, le quartier était selon nous très peu recommandable pour des touristes et des familles.
Nous avons changé d'hôtel au final pour cette raison.

Staff is completely useless. They are blaming our reservation site for everything. Can’t change our room and they are charging us 20$/hour for late check out.

I highly recommend to book somewhere else.

Situé dans une zone en construction! Beaucoup de travaux dans les rues autour. C'est une tour au centre ville alors sentiments d'étouffement lors des déplacements. Fausse publicités avec les photos de pisicine, ne vous attendez a rien d'extraordinaire. Pièce TRÈS HUMIDE. Stationnement difficiles à trouver et PAS INCLUS. PRÉVOIR 25$ pour le stationnement. Déjeuner non inclus également! En plus d'avoir comme vue un gros poteau électrique. Un beau 272$ pour une seule nuit sans avoir un petit déjeuner inclus. Par contre lit assez confortable mais sans plus. Pour ce que moi je recherche au niveau d'un séjour à l'hôtel, aucune chance que j'y retourne. Mais chacun est différent

We checked in, went to our room and immediately checked out. The sheets were all wrinkled, they were not changed just smoothed out. The room smelled like someone dumped a strong bottle of cologne trying to mask something else. Our nostrils still burned in the car on our way to another hotel. The location of the hotel is also in a part of town that doesn't feel safe and if you arrive in the evening you will have to park you car in a public garage a distance from the hotel. Don't stay here.

Very noisy. And we had to pay extra 20$ per night for parking which is under construction, completely dusty and not monitored.

This is a very clean and comfortable Hotel. When they write the rooms are soundproofed, they mean it. I would definitely return here for a stay.

Stay here for three nights on my recent trip to Quebec, located in the downtown area, which is about 15-20 minutes walk to Old Quebec City with some pretty steep streets that you need to walk. Hotel has an indoor pool which is okay no restrictions other than maintain physical distancing when possible. During the visit they were doing some renovations to the exterior but no disruption to the guests in a out. You got to pay for parking which is about 20 bucks per day which is not included on your stay. Breakfast options are included with certain room category, good decent meals at the restaurant on site which I recommend that you take will save you some money in the area.

Not much around the area other than a nearby small park with some good photo spot. Staff was very friendly on the reception kudos to Marion who helped me out with everything, they're very knowledgeable of the area if you ask for recommendations they are more than willing to give some spots. A big thank you to all the other stuff in the reception during the night oh, they speak English and French, overall were okay ratings for a multinational brand the rooms have a mini fridge but no microwave.

Well located and very nice staff. Rooms are meh. I would have liked to know the hotel was in renovation and have my room further from a very noisy small group when the hotel was empty.

Staff is nice, but air conditionning is noisy, and my room had an unpleasant smell. They are undergoing renovations, which is not ideal.parking is not paved and when it rains it gets messy.hotel pur across the street is in the same price range, much nicer, and has an underground parking that is cheaper. I would recommend staying there instead, I was expecting a much nicer stay from BW, but was disappointed. I travel to Quebec city about twice a year and will not be staying there ever again.

Very nice rooms, great staff and food too. Good location from Old Quebec City area if you don't mind walking. Outside is Under renovations, will look great.

Manques de visibilité surtout les chambres aux milieux donnant sur le restaurant. Pas de lumière du soleil pas idéal pour les familles.

Bon rapport qualité-prix et personnel aimable (mention spéciale pour l'équipedu déjeuner qui est très sympathique). L'hôtel est à 20-25min à pied du château de Frontenac.
Je regrette seulement que les lits n'ont pas été faits pendant mon séjour (précaution covid) et que l'eau de la piscine soit froide.

Outre les mesures covid qui obligent une réservation pour la piscine et le gym de seulement 30 minutes et les travaux de la construction qui me réveillait à 7h40, le service était numéro un, l'équipe à l'accueil était super gentille et tout mes besoins ont été répondu.

It was okay. Room was clean, 5x5 showers were very nice. I didn't like the lack of communication between day and night staff. Also if the free breakfast, the restaurant should be aware.

The location is awesome, hotel's paid parking is right next to it. Pets are allowed. The room and the cleanliness is great too. Overall a very nice place.

Stayed here in August 2019 with the family. I would recommend you to look for another place in the city. The rooms were not so clean (there was a spider net on the ceiling, dust and pet smell). The smell of the room was the worst thing for us. We asked for a solution and all they did was to bring air freshener.

As positive things, the location is not bad if you don’t want to stay inside the old town and there is a parking lot in front of the hotel.

Sehr schönes und sauberes Hotel. Liegt zentral und die Altstadt ist gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und das Schwimmbad ist auch toll. Empfehlenswert!

We just stayed there for three nights. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was fine. We called for the car, got ready and when we came down the car was always ready. Only drawback was that we only two chairs in the room and no other seating besides the bed. Chairs were not comfortable to sit on for a longer period. Anyway I would stay there again.

Bel hôtel dans le centre-ville de Québec, le Vieux Québec est accessible à pied, environ 20 minutes. Très bon accueil, propre. Le restaurant de l'hôtel est très bien, bonne bouffe et excellent service.

Vraiment pas cher pour une qualité vraiment bien. Les chambres sont très propres et c'est très bien insonorisé. Peut-être que la ventilation pourrait être plus silencieuse, c'est le seul petit défaut.

Bel hôtel, personnel courtois, belles chambres confortables, belle piscine et salle d entraînement. Le restaurant est à essayer et adopter, service excellent en tout point.

Plusieurs services à proximité, chambres et lits confortables avec une bonne insonorisation et personnel agréable. Je garde un bon souvenir de cet hôtel et le recommande fortement.

Très bon hôtel pour le prix, toujours celui que mes collègues musiciens et moi choisissons. Par contre, je pense que le valet a oublié ma fenêtre de char ouverte toute la nuit parce que le lendemain au moment de récuperer l'auto (louée), l'habitacle était comme étrangement éclaboussé de neige sale, du volant jusqu'à l'intérieur des boutons de fenêtre sur les portes, en passant par le porte gobelet.vraiment étrange et désagréable, j'ai du laver pendant 20 minutes avant de rendre la voiture au service de location et clairement ce n'était pas de ma faute. Je ne comprends pas ce qui s'est passé mais je ne sais pas si je re-ferai confiance aux valets là bas.

Ce ne fut pas notre premier essai pour cette Hôtel. En soit, le service fut impeccable et les chambres était propres et bien équipés. Dans le cadre de mon travail, les services de wifi internet ont été adéquats.

Hotel that is very accessible from the airport, takes around 20min to get there by uber cab. Location is within 20min walking distance to the old town as well as accessible to supermarket within 10min of walk.
Plenty of cafes, restaurants within the vicinity, as well as shops for decorative arts and home. There is a nearby park within 10mins walk for those who wants to do outdoor jog. Nice big rooms with comfortable pillows to suit any traveler's needs.

Bon hôtel dans un secteur avec accès facile aux principaux sites du Vieux Québec; personnel très serviable et gentille. Chambres avec lits super-confortables - parfaits pour relaxer et vous offrir quelque chose pour votre dot si justement votre dot a besoin d'être bien alité. - Très bien situé aussi pour faire des excursions dans les alentours de Québec en transport en commun, arrêts d'autobus pour les lignes de Métrobus 800,801 (destination Beauport au Sainte-Foy) au coin; proximité Gare du Palais de Québec (si vous arrivez sur les trains Via Rail).

They only provide valet parking at the hotel - no self parking option. We called our car about an hour after our check-in. I found out my coin wallet was wide open and empty from the front seat compartment. There was about US dollar $30. We told the manager Jeremy what happened and his reaction was strange; he did not seem surprised at all. So I asked him if this happens often there. He said it never happened before, so he said that he will check. Then he started calling places while we were standing there. By then I was very uncomfortable. So I didn't want to stay there. I asked him to get back to me and I tried to trust him. I gave my car to the valet again. But I didn't hear anything from him that night. I could not sleep at all because I couldn't trust them anymore. I was so nervous and worried of the thought of losing my car. Next morning I ask Christian who helped me check in and he said they didn't find my money. That was it. I think that is very normal and common things happening there. So I found out public parking which was right next building. When we checked in Christian gave us information of the public parking that was way farther away. But we found out right next building was a public parking space. They con us again. I am very surprised because I thought Best Western Hotel has big name and I trusted their reputation and gave them respect but this hotel is a liar and a thief. I cannot believe that's happened to me. And I cannot believe they were so calm and not care a thing. More important than the money was just a quick word of apology.
