Bevo Bar + Pizzeria

At this restaurant, we were able to eat very delicious Italian food.
In particular, I felt that the seasoning was appropriate, allowing me to truly enjoy the taste of the ingredients, and I was able to feel full based on the amount of food, so I felt very satisfied after the meal.
However, considering the number of customers in the store, I was disappointed that the waiter service was a little slow and I was left alone for a long time.

Très bonnes pizzas. Nous étions 3 adultes et avons très bien mangé. Service rapide et impeccable. Ambiance avec DJ et musique.

Excellent Old Port bar and restaurant with rustic style. Two floors. Large bar and nice selection of food options. Good variety of wines and exotic cocktails on the menu. Romantic atmosphere.

What a fantastic restaurant. Beautiful decor, staff were friendly, they offered suggestions, heled us decide what to order. Checking in on us, having conversations with us. Just the best customer service and the best pizza. So many different varieties, tried 4 of them, everything was delicious

Best pasta i have ever had, it changed my life.but i do wish my server was more friendlier.he made a passive aggressive comment in regards to the tip in the end which isn't professional at all. DJ also amazing

Fantastic place with amazing food and ambience. Our server William took care of our large party of 10 very patiently. We had the Rose pasta and it was fresh, seemed like made in house and the Margherita pizza was amazing, had to take another one home! I will be back every time I am in Montreal. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Italian food. Thank you William once again for the amazing service.

Great service, good food and a really nice ambience. They only had one high chair it seems, which was in use so that was a bit disappointing but they offered a booster instead. So if you have a child who is not ready for a booster then you might have an issue. Overall, our experience was good. I would probably go back here. They offered a Nutella pizza as a birthday treat for my friend and it was delicious. Our server was Catherine and she was a sweetie!

Extremely expensive. I ordered a Caprese Salad it was one half tomato and 4 slices of Mozzarella with no dressing whatsoever. 22$ tax excluded.

Food was great and our server was great just took a long time for service. By the bar there was a group of employees looking at us but not serving, just standing around. Very awkward. Ask to be sat in the dining area if you come

Ça fais déjà ma troisième visite en peu de temps et sûrement pas ma dernière. Excellent. Le service est impeccable. La nourriture excellente. Les prix sont abordables. L’endroit est chaleureux. Que du positif.

The polpette were HUGE. 2 nice and juicy meatballs with tomatoe sauce and parmesan. The arancino was equality big and nicely seasoned. The Salame pizza was ok. I don't tolerate spicy much and it was not that spicy (small tingling, no choking or crying). The dough was underwhelming, too crunchy and chewy but not fluffy and soft. The caramel and apple cheesecake was a bit too sweet for my taste and was very small for the price. The staff were very nice.

Great ambiance. I'd come back for drinks but probably not to eat.pizza was good but the pasta and calamari was very mediocre.calamari had a burnt flavour and the seafood linguine wasn't great.

Went there on a busy night. Didn’t take long for the waitress to take our order, they brought water as well. The food came quite quickly — in fact, they came a little bit too quick. Entrées were served with the main courses.
We got a pizza and a pasta. The pizza was fine and we finished it quite quickly.
The pasta was undercooked. When we told the waitress, she was very understanding and got the kitchen to make another one right away. Unfortunately, that one was undercooked as well. Waitress was again very understanding and helpful (which makes me think that I wasn’t the only one who complained about that dish being undercooked) and she made things right.

My family of 4 really enjoyed our early dinner at Bevo's. We chose to sit out on the terrace.
Our waitress was juggling 7 different tables besides ours but service was fast and friendly.

We ordered the Margherita pizza, the poutine, the pesto ravioli, the Gardino pizza and the calamari.

Our pizza order got mixed up, we were served the one with goat cheese instead of the Gardino and our waitress immediately offered to replace it, but we were happy to keep what we had and did not regret it. The pizza is a class act. Wood fired and the perfect amount of topping for the delicious crust.

The ravioli was also extremely delicious, garnished with toasted almond slivers that really complimented the fresh basil flavour. It is definitely a dish that I will be ordering when we visit Montréal next!

The poutine was a generous portion, I believe that they have it in a small and big size but this was not obvious from the menu, so make sure to ask when you order. The flavour was fantastic and the fries and cheese curds were topped with gravy and soft pieces of veal.

*A suggestion for the establishment is to offer the same poutine without the meat as it would be a great alternative for someone who does not want to have too much red meat. *

All in all a 5 out of 5. I would definitely recommend eating here.

The pesto almond ravioli and the rose pasta were amazing! The hostess and server were both great.

It is very nice place, very cute terrace. We have ordered 2 salads: green and beets one; both were very good. Pizza was great too. Our service was great, but our waiter was so busy, I wish they had an extra person working that day. He was sitting new customers, taking orders, cleaning etc. So it felt as some customers were neglected even though he tried his very best to accommodate everyone. It’s a minus one star from me. I would definitely go back and recommend it to a friend if they don’t mind the service part.

I dont even know where to begin…I made reservations for my moms bday lunch at this restaurant regardless of the reservations the hostess sat us inside because apparently even if you have reservations and have the option to choose where you want to sit and add a comment to specify you want to sit outside, it’s first come first serve so we got seated inside around 4 dirty tables that had not been cleaned yet with flies flying all over the place! The utensils and cups that we’re on our table we’re dirty, we advised the waitress and she takes the cup holds it up to the light and starts to look if their actually dirty infront of us? Im not a difficult customer at all i just dont want dirty dinner ware especially during a pandemic! She took our cups outside for some reason, didn't come back around to us, so we waited 15-20 mins to eventually get up and leave. In total we were there for about 30 mins the whole time the tables around us never got cleaned and we never got served even a glass of water.

We had a great time, food is amazing! Rebecca made our night so much fun! She has a great personality and gave us a 5 star service!

Great place for yummy pizza or pasta. Service is top notch with very warm and friendly staff. Would highly recommend if you are in old Town Montreal.

Beau resto, bonne ambiance, la serveuse était sympathique.
J'ai pris l'arancino en entrée, très bon, la sauce était délicieuse.
La pizza Salame est probablement la meilleure pizza que j'ai mangée de ma vie.
Les Medaglioni con ricotta et Spinaci valent aussi le détour, pâtes et sauce au pesto savoureuses.
Seuls points négatifs: Les entrées sont un peu chères (par exemple, 11$ pour une salade verte? !), et la Margarita au grand marnier n'était franchement pas très bonne.
Mais, dans l'ensemble, je recommande certainement ce resto.

We ate here three years ago on our first trip to Montreal and we had to come here again. This is one of our favorite spots in the city. Outstanding food and such friendly staff. Would recommend Bevo to anyone visiting the city. The pizza is top notch. My vegan partner had the GF pasta option and while super delicious, the portion could have been a little more generous. Other than that this is easily one of the best places to eat in Montreal.

The decor fist of all is stunning. They've done a really good job preserving the old charm. Pizzas were good but I think they tasted better because of the atmosphere of that makes sense

I'll start out by saying that the pizza was fantastic! HOWEVER it came out luke-warm and wished it was piping hot. Our truffle risotto was very tasteful and the chili-vinegar oil elevated the flavor of the dish. We also had the lasagna which was unfortunately over-cooked. The interior decor was quite nice, but the service was not the best. Overall, enjoyed my experience.

Great restaurant. Beautiful place. Friendly staff. Nice ambiance. Quick service. Great for birthdays with just a few friends. Tasty food and drinks. Their pasta is great, it isn't perfect, but their pizza is definetly a 10/10.

Last time I was here was six years ago and I remember the service being horrible.
My experience this time around was not the same.
Our waiter was very friendly and on the ball. He was absolutely wonderful.
The calamari was really good and the rest of the things we ordered were good.
The atmosphere and the music was fantastic and I would recommend it here if you're in a big group or simply looking for a fun evening.

Overall it has good options of pizzas, appetizers, Italian foods. Cocktails are not bad. Most beers options are "pilsen" style (on tap), the best one is on the picture I posted. Service is fast and good.

We participated in the fixed price deal and it was fabulous value! We each had an appetizer and entrée which was so much food we couldn't even imagine eating dessert. The deal was for $23 and I would have happily paid triple because the food was so delicious. Each of us got the meatball appetizers were absolutely amazing.it came with two massive meatballs! The pizzas were excellent and so was the Pomodoro. Come with an appetite! The only thing I wish we could have changed was to have the music turned down a little bit because it was getting difficult to talk at our table. I will go back next time I'm in town!

I have chosen this place for my small birthday celebration. Overall everything was good, restaurant wasn’t busy, but we waited for the food longer than we expected.
They gave me their nuttela cake as a birthday present.
And everything was great until It came to paying our bill. I gave tips to the waitress. However, she came to me later saying that it wasn’t enough. And if I don’t pay it, this amount will be subtract from her salary. I finally added the amount she asked for. But it ruined the good impression we had before.
Tips are not mandatory, and depend on the quality of the service we had. Since it was added, I don’t feel that it’s appropriate to ask for more.
Because of that situation, next time I will choose a different place even for regular dinner.

Attentive service, delicious pizza. You can watch your pizza being made. Street beside Bevo is under construction, don’t let this scare you away. Once you are inside eating you won’t notice. Dinner mate ordered lasagna which was a bit on the small side yet tasty. Would have been just right with garlic bread.

Overall ok experience. Food was tasty. Wine selection was good. Prices were fine. Service was pretty bad on a night that they should have had the time to make it exceptional.

Nice selection of beers and good food made of pizza, pastas and salad. Music was quite loud but the waitress was very kind to tone it down. Enjoyed the evening.

My Husband and I have been going to Bevo frequently over the years. Their pizza compares to the authentic pizza that we eat all over Italy. We love it there. Grazie!

The service is slow; however, it's a good place to eat if you're in the old port! Make sure you make a reservation before coming, it could be pretty packed during weekends.

Honestly the best pizza I ever had in Canada, we went to Montreal for 3 days and the 3 days we ate here. Also a nice setup, nice music and the service is awesome.

Cependant, la nourriture est très correcte même si les prix sont plutôt haut - $75 avec Tx et tips pour 2 pizzas, une assiette de pâtes au beurre et 3 soft drinks - mais le plus ennuyeux c'est le bruit!
Ok si vous êtes teenager pour boire un verre et s'amuser mais pas adapté au couple avec enfants.
Quant à l'accueil, c'est à travaillé. Heureusement, la serveuse en salle a rattrapé la note avec de jolis sourires.

Overall really good restaurant with great food and service. I had the poutine during my visit and definitely recommend it, overall awesome place to eat!

Service is sub-par, their food is simply disgusting. I ordered a 'capriciosa' pizza and it was literally the most disgusting thing I've ever eaten. My friend ordered an extra topping of prosciutto on his pizza and it was carbonized/burnt beyond belief.

When we finally decided to pay and leave this fine establishment, their pay system/payment processor broke. They blamed it on 'old 3g technology' and had to wait 10 minutes until 'they rebooted the system'.

If I could rate them 0 stars I would totally do it.

Great Location, and great service. Average food for this area which is saying it's still good food.
The Pizza's looked lazily put together, and toppings were cold (not actually cooked with the rest of the pizza)
